Not that pippin is a bad character, just far from my favorite.

Hmmmmmmmmmm....... I haven't actually READ LotR in a long time, and I'm feeling conflicted based on movies.

 

Someone convince me of who I should hurt/heal and why :P

He actually has one of the best character developments of any of the characters in the game, but particularly out of the 3 remaining, the other 2 who are essentially the same people at the end as they are in the beginning, albeit 'nice' people... pippin goes from 'nice' but bumbling and unreliable to a respected leader of men (well hobbit).
