Now, if I understand your post correctly, you’re saying that you decided to try and launch a moderately complicated plan to lay a LD trap on d1 based on your guessing of the game setup? Wouldn’t it have been easier to just quote the title of this game and say “looks like everyone’s got a role. Just in case there’s an LD, everyone state that they’re not mafia.” Feels like that might have saved time and trouble.

Is there any way you could nutshell this so that it makes some kind of sense? Not being sarcastic here, Did a double take here. Is this a “sounds good to me” post, or a “I can’t take it anymore” post? The vote choices are not mutually exclusive, nor is either in any real danger, so I’m confused why you make it sound like it’s only a choice between Turin or Darthe and then state that you think it’s better to keep Darthe? Please, what is the logic here? You got any thoughts on Darthe’s post? So far, you’re doing a great job as the diceslanker. The old “I’m trying to catch up!” routine, while asking questions that have already been answered isn’t gonna cut it. If this isn’t a PR, I’m going to vote for you on d1 forever, no matter what.

I’ve rr’d Key’s posts. A lot of posts are restating the obvious. Some are pushing old game traits like “wolfy Turin” or tying me to mechanics. She does some skittering to stay in neutral territory. I don’t feel any better about her. I’m gonna say there is at least 1 🐺 in Key/Hallia/Darthe

Things on my mind this morning: 1. Turin has invited everyone to discuss whether or not Zander should have revealed his role on this early in the game. Turin's critique of it has turned into a bit of a lightning rod for him and imo, discussing why that happened is more important than his invitation. My take is that what's done is done. Zander is mod-confirmed Town IC and that gives the town a big advantage early in the game. Discussing Zander's reasoning for revealing seems like a way to add unnecessary conversation to the game as opinions about this topic are not really indicative of alignment. 2. Key has attracted suspicion from a number of players. It would be worth clarifying the points folks have made regarding her. I'll do this in a bit. 3. My overall opinion of Darthe is that he's trying to assume a leadership role. I'm not a big fan of anyone trying to do this so early in the game unless it's a mod-confirmed IC lol.

Go back and look at when I asked Gud how many games she’s played in. The quote from her post was her asking basic questions about the game. Either she’s a mafia savant and figured out within four games how to casually ask questions about basic stuff, or she’s town. There’s an off chance that she planned that with a team, but that seems very remote, so I have her as town. it would be good if she showed up again soon. Your read on the rest is noted. I think Cory used to build a core that worked like a charm. As long as he had enough players in the game he knew how to read. This is a bunch of folks coming back from multi-years hiatus and nobody is really solid on readings right now. So I figure I’ll make observations as I see them and hopefully that’ll click with other players that see the same thing. Turin is playing a little too hard and multiple folks have called him wolfy. I’m not opposed to this. Darthe is always confusing on D1 and he and I tend to go back and forth to try and shake something loose, and because it’s fun. Key is nervous which may or may not be a good thing. Verb is absent, but that’s not uncommon during the work week. So we’ll see. I do have Gud in a solid town read. But why isn’t she posting? We’ll see.

B with a side eye Towncore building has more to do with a consensus and Darthe has been chasing targets all day so far. Him listing his top tier town, mid tier, low tier would follow along with that and a follow up vote would make sense. But as soon as you (Zander) revealed, he peeled off of you and went in for Turin. But he said he was core building, and he didn't have to do that - he could've just rolled with Wild Darthe on D1 and nobody would've blinked, so why did he say the thing about building a core? I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt but you're all over the place with nervous energy. Throwing shade at me over "mechanics" is contrived and just brings up the ghosts of hundred games that have nothing to do with this one. It struck me as labeling and a cheap shot. When you backed right off of it you looked worse imo. There is no actual reasoning there, or if I'm missing it, you're welcome to explain it. I'll share my list when I deem it necessary.
