Once you've got them back into the flow of normal games, I'll break everyone's mind & spirit with games that are my specialty - bastard mafia. Then we'll wait a few years for people to come back to DM mafia, and I'll apologize for making them quit until then, heh.

Isn't it kind of the same thing? If he "takes the lead" in posting and calling himself town (and others), to me that's the same thing.

If this game re-hooks me, I'll pin a mod thread and we can go from there. I wouldn't mind modding a few, especially if you'd like to play more and not mod everything.

I love you for saying this. This was always my issue with the "newer" crowd when they invaded DM Mafia with the spam and crazy talk about being cleared super early and town cores and all that. It's just spam this early, and it's done so that when scum it can be used as cover. There were a lot of players like me that would come back to the thread and see 20+ new pages and just give up and go along with the crowd, forever in perpetual catch-up mode. It's why I stopped playing larger games and only played ones like this - small enough to keep up. Imagine when Zander is the 4th highest poster in a game. I wanted to go dodge traffic, heh.

True, but my read is more of a reaction to something I've seen done D1 a hundred times before. And because it's so early, we're all clearly grasping at straws anyway. Like Zander said, sometime you poke.....and let them hang themselves.

I think this post is my first game-related one, yes? Heh, that's fair. I was actually one of the main admins on this site for about 10 years, but I'm now retired from that and am a simple mod now.
