I hope somebody pressed you on this at some point over the next few pages. If not, consider this my urging to have to go into it. Mafia in my experience tends to get people heated. Some more so than others. Here on DM it tends to stick to in-game only, and once the game is over we're all best friends. You can sometimes wonder though, in the heat of the moment. Calling each other liars and scum and such can feel hurtful perhaps, especially when you know they're wrong and you're just trying to be honest. It is a process to get used to this game, and sometimes I've experienced just not being in the right headspace to play.

Oh geeze. Ok, I'm going to try to catch up in between everything that's going on at work, but I make no promises as to when I'll be done. I guess I have to try to get there by EOD. Starting now.

Just stopping by to read up, but I see Z hasn't been around yet. Honestly pooped after a day of looking after my kids, so I think I might reward myself with early bedtime and reading in bed. I'll try to post some from work tomorrow, but it depends on how busy it is. I got a "new job" at the new year. I'm interrim assistant principal at a middle school, so my days are busy busy 🙂 I say interrim, because I'm just replacing somebody on long term sick leave, so we'll see how long it lasts.

Not voting anyone atm. I was actually waiting for a vote count to see status on the wagons, because like you said I wouldn't be opposed to Cairos vs Mills today. To be fair, of the two I think Cairos looks worse.

Yeeeehhh... I'm liable to think that that post was a bit shady as well. I was thinking about it when I read it in my catch-up. Towniest of townies is hardly reason to vote for anyone, but I don't believe Mills has played much mafia, so I guess I'm on the fence about it being damning.

Given time restrictions I feel like I'm not going to be super helpful this game, but I would love to hear more from @Gudrean especially, and @Donchadh and really everyone. Best way for any of us to get a read on any other is like Dice said to challenge them to show their work, so for any of the newbies, if you want to go back and specifically look at the posts of one or more players that you want to solve, and then give us your thoughts in a summary, then it'll be easier to start a discussion with you on your thought process, and in turn you'll get a read on those who are asking you questions and so on and so forth. That's generally how you play this game.

Yes, please no hammer on D1, or really ever. I would heavily discourage it unless there's a lolcatting wolf (a wolf who is clearly caught and just posts memes and jokes and such)

That's for sure. When I joined the mafia subforum was really active, and I just randomly started reading a game. It was a rough first start, because people were seemingly fighting and rather rude and toxic to one another, but I guess I just got too curious and decided to find out more. It's getting late for me though. I'll try to read once more before I go to sleep.
