I am very sorry for balefiring you. My use of balefire against you, Thane, was illegal because the Band Law says that channeling, which includes balefire, is not allowed.Not like the time when Moiraine balefired a darkhound, because Moiraine is an Aes Sedai and not a band member, so it is ok for her to channel. Also Darkhounds are Shadowspawn, and I am pretty sure that you are not. It is extremely mean to balefire someone, which is why it is illegal. Not like the time when Rand balefired Rahvin because Rand was not a band member and the Forsaken should be balefired, and also by balefiring him, it undid Mat and Aviendha's deaths, and anyone who killed Mat deserves to be balefired because Mat is awesome. There is a reason why channeling is illegal in the Band, and one of the main reasons is so nobody balefires anyone else. Since we are the Travel Social Group, suppose you were able to travel to Sochi and watch some events. What tops your list of events to see? Mine are: 1. Couples figure skating 2. Curling 3. Speed Skating I like sports like bobsled, luge, etc, but I imagine they would be a lot more boring live without the TV commentary. On the other hand, I might like figure skating more without Captain Obvious telling me things like "they love being out on the ice" as if it is a useful nugget of insight. And yes, I actually like curling. I love shuffleboard... curling is shuffleboard, but with more strategy and on ice, so it is a good thing!
