Make sure you sign into the Roll Call before the month is over! New members aren't added to our points roster (therefore they can't be promoted) until they have signed into at least one roll call! It's been a while since we have done this, and with all the new faces, I think it would be interesting. As the Music Social Group, we often focus on contemporary music, though some members (like myself) originally joined with more of a classical music theme in mind-- a background of concert band or orchestra being just as equal as a background of guitar and rythm, etc. So that in mind... what instrument(s) do you play? So, my mom and I are traveling to Athens, Rome, Venice and Bolzano during semana santa (Holy Week I guess is it's English name lol). So far, our itenerary is as follows: April 15: travel/recover from jet lag upon arriving in Athens at about 4pm (I may be coming from Madrid but the bus leaves Granada at 1am ugh) April 16: Begin exploring the city/continue recovering from Jet Lag April 17: Island hop tour of three of Greece's most popular islands (can't remember names of the top of my head) April 18: museum day as if I remember correctly, they'll be free on this day! Back in October 2009 (yes, that long ago), we started out on a quest to pick what would be the Band of the Red Hand's Dream Band would be. And we have finally finished, nearly 18 months after we started. I am currently having all sorts of issues with my internet at home at the moment. Loading web pages is an almighty struggle. I need to check whether it is my provider (Sky have a proven track record of issues) or if it is my laptop. I need to check with my flatmate to see if she is having issues as well. I know I need to get "Tune or No Tune" up, but this is why nothing has happened. I am just fed up of fighting a losing battle of pages not loading. I will try and get major things done at work, but I should be working, not being on DM!

February's music theme for the Band of the Red Hand Social Group is the music from the 1980s. You have spent the first part of the month nominating your songs to go towards the contest and fighting for the honour of being DM's and the Band's favourite song from the 1980s.
