As drinking is an integral part of the Band, I though you guys should know I started a thread on beer and everything beer in the Ogier forum. I was just checking out the Meets and Conventions board here at DM, and found this thread about Brandon Sanderson doing a book signing at the Paris branch of WH Smith in November 2010. I also checked out the website for the Paris branch of WH Smith, and it seems for real! I will try and keep you updated on dates and times. And I might go, depending on when in November. And it would be great if some of us went.

wow, gotta say, it's been a LONG time fellow band members. I wonder who's still around? I come wandering in for a friendly tankard of brew and some tales of what's all been going on. Oh, and also because the new books coming out soon and I finally got my hands on a paperback book 12, had been getting by with 12 on my computer, and it was SO annoying. Apologies for being away so long (just found out I'm currently on the deserters list, shows how long its been), but I have graduated now and have a job sorted so should be able to be around for a bit; though not being a lazy student does mean I'll probably be around a bit less than I used to be. So far, the following have been nominated: - Freddie Mercury of Queen won the position of Male Vocalist - Carlos Santana will be on Guitar - Geddy Lee is the bass player - Within Temptation's Sharon den Adel as the female vocalist April saw the Band focus on Soundtrack music and composers, and May saw a focus on Classical Music. We are changing the title of "Regimental Liaison Officer" into "Recruiter." So, an Infantry RLO is now an Infantry Recruiter. This is to make one less acronym for Recruits to learn, as well as having a more thematical name for the position.
