Hey guys, I just discovered this awesome internet site called www.stereomood.com. Basically it offers you a big list of 'moods', you pick whatever you're feeling, and the site makes a playlist with songs and artists that fit that mood. Right now I'm listening to "Elegant" and so far I'm very impressed.

The Band's search for its Dream Band takes a break for a couple of months as the Band changes its focus. It's that time of year again. Every year my local rock station KSHE95, holds their March Bandness bracket tournament in honor of the March Madness College basketball tourney. Last year I entered my picks ad then posted the rounds here. I also encouraged people to post their picks for who would win. This years Tourney starts later today(Friday). So follow along and post your pics for each round. Let's see who knows their rock. It is time to decide the order for the Band's themes for April 2010 and May 2010. We will be taking a break from our search for our "Dream Band", but that will return for June and July. For April and May, we will be looking at soundtracks and revisiting Classical Music - all you need to do is decide in what order the two themes will happen in. There is also an additional theme for May, when we will be hosting a Eurovision Song Contest week (or fortnight). The Band of the Red Hand is now over half way in its search for its Dream Band, and "It's A Knockout" continues again now that we are onto the fourth stage. We have already filled the position of Guitarist, which was won by Carlos Santana, Geddy Lee was picked as the bass player, and Within Temptation's Sharon den Adel won the spot of female vocalist. The fourth leg of the search is the place of Male Vocalist, leaving just Drummer and Keyboardist to complete the line up. All, the link below is to my friends bands new CD. They are called The Revivalists, and the album is called Vital Signs. The Revivalists - Vital Signs Their sound is mostly rock, but you can hear a lot of southern, New Orleans, type of sound in it as well.
