The "It's A Knockout" for James Bond songs was won by A-Ha and their song The Living Daylights, which beat Louis Armstrong's We Have All The Time In The World in the Final. In the 3rd/4th Play-Off, Lulu's The Man with the Golden Gun triumphed over Rita Coolidge's All Time High. "It's A Knockout" continues this week, but we are returning to the longer format of 2 weeks - and this means there are 16 songs instead of 8! The usual rules of a vote a day contines though, so make sure you post your votes. And for the next two weeks (Monday 9th March 2009 to Monday 23rd March 2009), we will be concentrating on classical music as part of the classical music theme for March. …

I forgot to get this started yesterday as I was relaxing after passing my first accountancy exam, but here we go - here is the first ever Musical Advent Calendar from the Band of the Red Hand! Each day, between now and Christmas Eve, I'll be posting a musical treat for you. Some songs will be Christmasy, others will be just absolute classics that everyone loves. And to add to the surprise, all there will be is the link to youtube. So sit back and enjoy the surprises for each day!

I was known as heathen666 I was banded to shelike (we started it actually in referance to the aes sedai bonding only wit ha botrh twist) I was 2nd in command of the archer division underneath northstar It was back in 2005-2006 If nobody does then all well guess I'll have to start over :P

Hey Guys 'n' Girls, I thought I would pop in here to introduce myself since I hve just posted to be added as a Raw Recruit... I love music, I love travelling and I love fun & frolicks! Music wise - I sing and play guitar and used to manage a band... My tastes are extremely eclectic, anyting from Jazz and Blues dating back to the turn of the 20th Century, to 80's Goth Rock, 1950/60's Rhythm and Blues (none of this modern stuff please), Heavy Metal, Folk, Celtic, Punk, Baroque, Regee and Ska, Medieval... Plus loads more, but I think you get the picture... Travelling - Ilove it - I need to do more!! But so far I've travelled various places in Europe …
