Hello my wonderful Kinsters! It's AUGUST! That month of seemingly nothingness. That time between summer and fall. That moment between vacations and looking ahead to the holidays. The days before D*Con and school starting, and the hours of anticipation of new fall TV shows. Who will be on Dancing with the Stars this year? LOL! So the wifey goes for a few tests due to some chest pain(Nothing wrong) and during the tests the doctor informs her of a new development.....A baby!! So yep, the wifey and I are on our way to being parents a third time. We were totally caught off guard by this as we had not planned on a third this soon(Although we were planning on it later). So we have about 8 months left at this time.

I got lost around Faire-time, and the snowball just kept growing. Lloyd had some hospital time (scheduled treatment, not an emergency), then my convention and we just got back from vacationing in southern Oregon, seeing trees and Shakespeare plays. I'M BACK!

I'm close to being raised to Aes Sedai in the WT Org, my first RP novice is almost Accepted, and my RP warder trainee is going through his Tower Guard ceremony, so now that everything is a little more settled over all, I decided I wanted to go ahead and join the Kin now. :) I'm Quisalas, and I came to DM after listening to Raeyn talk about it a lot. Ok ladies and gents, so about a week ago I got a package from Twinflower. I was super excited as I love happy mail as we call it in the Kin! I opened it up and I started crying. Now I may have mentioned this, but my grandma was an avid crocheter. I mean big time. Each of us Grandkids and Great Grandkids etc, all got a baby blanket made by her. When we reached our teenage years we all got a large one that would fit our adult size beds. Well when I was 16 my Grandma who was the closest person to me in the world died of terminal cancer. My daughter was the first grandchild born after she died and she never got a blanket. That has always upset me and I have to admit that it …

Hey everyone. I'm Clim. Some of you know me from other ORGs. But I'd like to join the Kin as well. I hear great things about this group and I would like to be part of it! ;D

And pleased! Yesterday I got home from school, and a package was waiting.... With a lovely (I mean that!) card and envelope, with the most amazing bookmark I've ever seen, and a pair of cute socks and a knitted angel, all for me for my birthday! Needless to say, I was terribly excited. I'm wearing the socks. I brought the bookmark to school to show off (I'll have to post a picture so y'all can see the amazing-ness of it!). And I have to say thank you, Twinnie! *huggles* (forever) You is the best, chica! I mean, wow....... Give a round of applause for the most amazing woman ever! Twinnie herself!

Here we are at week number three in our Poetry Challenge of the Sashes!! Currently the Purple Sashes are in the lead, followed closely by the Reds and Greens, with the Blue's chasing close behind!
