So, alot of DM'ers have steam, alot don't. So I decided to create a steam community group. If your not familiar with steam you can download and create an account at http://store.steampowered.com/ When you think steam, think XBox live, with apples App store, with the apps being games. It has thousands of games, including virtually all the new pc releases, tons of indi games, and alot of the older ones you simply can't find anymore. By joining a steam community group, it basically allows anyone in it, to view what 'game' others in that said group are currently playing. You can even join them in said game assumings its joinable. The link to the steam group is…

Yes they are making a "Glee" film, but not in the way you think. 20th Century Fox is set to produce "Glee Live! 3D", a feature film based on the "Glee Live! In Concert!" "Fame" helmer Kevin Tancharoen will direct the concert movie which features performances by series regulars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss, Ashley Fink. Various behind the scenes moments will also be incorporated, and the studio will release the film for a two-week engagement starting August 12th. …

Hey guys I just got to watch my beloved Spurs, winner of 4 championships in 10 years, get knocked out of the playoffs by an 8 seed (we were the 1 seed) and needless to say, I'm pretty sure I'm clinically depressed now. Can anyone out there give me a light at the end of the tunnel? Anyone with the gift of Foretelling see more championships for my Spurs in the future?

Gday. Can't promise this will be regular, but I have some time on my hands and a few hours before the weekend's football kicks off. Here are the Berf picks for the week. SATURDAY 9th of April Wolves V Everton Everton are having a strong period, but with injuries to a lot of the midfield stability could be a problem. Wolves have had some good results lately, but are largely inconsistant on the whole. With Saha and Arteta out, and Cahill doubtful, goals could be the problem for Everton. Out of the last 6 away games, they have only won once, a 2-1 victory over Newcastle. Contrast this with Wolves home form which includes recent wins over Man U and Chelsea, and I …

  11. It is simple... someone quotes a movie, you make guesses to which movie they are quoting. If the person says you get it right, you get to post the next quote. Please do not cheat. It is more fun if you think about it and make guesses. Let's start it off....

Note, New just means I've never played it. I'm looking for a strategy game of some description, in one of two veins: It could either go for complete empire management, Master of Orion 3 style, dominate the universe... needs a lot of customization though, I need to tinker. It needs diplomancy, needs to be enjoyable single player...needs to have some depth. On the other end of the scale, I could really go for some Dawn of War style tactical unit strategy, I LOVE Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander with the simplicity of it but varied unit choices... ACtually you know what? If anyone can find me how to get Dune 2 working on Windows 7, I'd send them lots …

So me and Krak finally had a game of Reach together the other day. So much awesome. We should totally start a clan or some such. Anyway. Halo 3 or Halo: Reach? Halo 3 had a lot of things going for it. The conclusion of a story arc that was awesomely epic. The Master Chief. The invention of Equipment, such as the power drainer, bubble shield (How good is the bubble shield?!), the first Forge outing, multiplayer that never, ever, ever quit... The awesomeness weapon that is the Battle Rifle... Halo: Reach also has a lot of positives. The removal of dual weilding. (Thus a more balanced sandbox). The DMR oh sweet God the DMR. A whole slew of awesome weapons, …

This game is rumoured to come out in 2010 sometime, though there is no set release date yet. Also, they plan to release it in three releases, one for each campaign. The entire game will be fully playable with the initial release though. And on the third point, there is supposedly no LAN feature to this game, which sucks. What do you think of the game, and what have you heard about it?

Any suggestions? Thinking about making a run through Babylon 5 again. It's been 3, maybe 4 years since I've gone through the series. They just put a bunch of older James Bond films out there as well. Dare I even start? I've seen them so many times but it's been a while. They've also added the first three seasons of the original Twilight Zone and the entire run of the original Mission Impossible television series. It's like a buffet. Too much to choose from. Help!

So I am currently playing Red Dead Redemption on the PS3. I am really enjoying it. It was touted to me by the salesperson as an Old West GTA. So far I am about 15-20 missions in and it has GTA stylings, but really reminds me of the PS2 game GUN, which is another game I really liked playing. Anyone else played this game? Thoughts?

    • The story picks up in August. • The East Dillon Lions, with only two wins last season, are to take on the state champions this week in something called The Whataburger Kickoff Classic. • Both Julie Taylor and Landry Clarke are now high-school grads and spend most of their components of the episode saying goodbye. • Landry’s band performs a final concert, and they sound great. • Coach Taylor tries to recruit a basketball star who tells Taylor football is played by a lot of “roided-up toolbags,” which I found hilarious. • Tammy is settling in as guidance counselor at East Dillon, trying to help at-risk kids. • Both Jess Merriweather and Becky Sproles have lost pare…

I got a PS3 at the end of December and am saving money by playing the many awesome games that have been released then traded back to the local game stop. But I don't know what's good and what's not. Right now I'm playing Assassin's Creed 2 and Uncharted 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum. I played and traded back, MGS4, Castlevania, Heavy Rain, Resident Evil 5. Any suggestions?

So now that Microsoft has hired an army of developers and engineers to start working in earnest on the next generation X-Box and Sony has pretty much done the same as well as Nintendo - what do you speculate will be the new thing when these 8th generation consoles hit the market? We know the obvious - wireless n integration, larger hard drives, integrated motion control, etc. Will the new consoles simply be another leap in graphics technology (is that even possible?) or more along the lines of something more revolutionary. I think all three gaming companies are holding the success of the Wii up as the new benchmark - this concept that something revolutionary trumps bet…

Welcome to the DM Sports Bar! Don't worry, we don't id check here. The purpose of this board is to house any discussion of any sport you care to mention, discuss the fineries of the offside rule, tactics when running the offence with 5 on the clock and 2 touchdowns behind, or whatever happens in baseball. I'm pretty liberal as a whole, so here is our ONE RULE TO RULE THEM ALL: 1) Keep it Clean (In memorium of Soyo) That is to say, be respectful, keep it PG-13, and know that if stuff get's out of hand, my iron fist will crush dissent like a weightlifters spine. "Zombieland" scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have been hired to pen the screenplay for "Deadpool", the "X-Men" spin-off in development at 20th Century Fox, a report at Variety confirming a month old rumor from CHUD. Ryan Reynolds, who played the wisecracking mercenary character in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and is slated to reprise it, has a window in his schedule after wrapping Martin Campbell's "Green Lantern" this summer. Reynolds has been bulking up to play the DC Comics hero, thus he would already be in shape to play the Marvel anti-hero if the script is ready by the Summer. The story is expected to stay true to the mythology of "Deadpool" as Reynolds …
