You know what show I discovered recently that I absolutely love? Friends. Good lord it's funny. Also Phoebe is smoking. I must watch more!

With Dragon Age II's March 8 release date approaching, BioWare is continuing to provide new and tantalizing details about the various wonders you'll be able to encounter in the game. Today's reveal? Two new pre-order bonus items and a strange shop known as the Black Emporium. BioWare says that the weapon and shield pictured above will be made available to anyone who preorders Dragon Age II from participating retailers. The blade is known as the Fadeshear, and in addition to doing bonus damage against demons and undead, it will actually continuing becoming more powerful as you level up. The shield is called the Lion of Orlais, and it will increase your health while als…

AMC is really moving up there with HBO/Showtime programming that I love. I watched the 2 hour pilot last night and thought it was very well done. Yes it is a bit slow at times but then I remind myself this isn't some Law and Order show that wraps up everything in one hour. I appreciate the in depth characters and the slowly unfolding plotline. It kind of reminds me of The Wire. AMC has rarely missed with their shows and I think they have another winner here.

http://www.riftgame.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBK6skzcYV0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgHvdcrBrpk Having played about 2-3 hours of this game so far, it looks fairly promising. It does have a lot of elements "stolen" from WoW, but one can argue that it helps players acclimatise to the game easier. Public open beta starts on 15th Feb, and the game will be released on 1st March. Anyone played in the alpha/closed beta?

TWITTER FOR DRAGONMOUNT SOCIAL GROUPS Our leader upstairs, Kivam, has decided to create a Twitter account for all the Social Groups here at DM. This means that all Social Group leaders (and mods like myself and Emperor) will have access to this account and will post events, discussions, etc. on occurrences (both WoT themed and not) that happen here in our SG's. The account is: @DragonmountSoc We're hoping this lends itself to increased Social Group involvement by both current DMers who are active in SG's, those DMers who only stay in the WoT discussion boards, and hopefully some new recruits. Now, this obviously isn't a requirement for anything, I w…

The game is simple. You have 21 questions to try and guess the movie I have selected. Rules: 1. Any question posted in this thread I will treat as a direct question to me and answer it, counting towards your total. 2. IMDB will be my primary source for answers. 3. Questions with lists can not be larger than 25. 4. My answers will only be in yes or no format.. so keep that in mind when asking your question. Hints: Work together. Do not waste a question on something already asked. Confer with each other before posing the question. Compile the questions and answers every once in awhile. Start general then narrow down. Leave a few questions at…

I still haven't seen the third one, but I didn't think Prince Caspian was all that bad. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was definitely superior though.

The Starz Network announced today that “Torchwood: Miracle Day” is set premiere on Friday, July 8th at 10pm ET/PT in the US. Returning actors John Barrowman, Eve Myles and Kai Owen; new regulars Bill Pullman, Mekhi Phifer, Alexa Havins and Arlene Tur; and guest stars like Lauren Ambrose, Ernie Hudson, Wayne Knight and C. Thomas Howell are all set to appear in this fourth season/minor reboot of the British sci-fi series. As previously reported, 'Miracle Day' begins on a day when, all across the world, nobody dies. People keep aging, they get hurt and sick, but they never die. As this continues, this means there's an overnight population boom and with all the extra …

The Death of Bill. Saw this coming seasons ago, was just reinforced with how much they wrote him into a corner. To fix all the stuff he started, it would have taken 3 seasons at least. Anyway, what was touching was the camera work at the end, with him looking up at his three wives, sun streaming through near Barb. Plus the three of them at the end all loving and together...It was nice. It was really, really nice. I'm gonna miss hearing that theme song. Home... this is my home... *strings....bliss...ahhh*

Yes it is early. I also know that most of you do not have this insane need to see every movie nominated for best picture each year. I do. So I turn on my radar early to get an idea of what I need to see. Below are the movies with early oscar buzz... A Dangerous Method Set on the eve of World War I, A Dangerous Method is based on the turbulent relationships between fledgling psychiatrist Carl Jung, his mentor Sigmund Freud, and Sabina Spielrein, the troubled but beautiful young woman who comes between them. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo The exhaustive casting of Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larson’s book was one of the…

Okay, for the first time in a while I am thrilled about this season of Dancing with the Stars because there is no ONE favorite to win. No one has extreme dancing talent prior to the show and everyone is there to "prove" something. I personally am a huge fan of Kirstie Alley, Ralph Macchio and Kendra Wilkinson. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So what games do you play, or used to play, that you know are kind of a bit...well... akward to explain? Like when you play Mass Effect, Shepard get's it on with whatsherface...and then your wife walks in? That kind of akward, but for the WHOLE GAME. I'll just admit it, this entire thread is me revealing to world that I am currently making my way through Pokemon White. Already got my first Gym Badge, bitches. Oh yes. This is happening.

What is your favorite TV show right now? I think for me it is Justified. Really great characters, plot and dialogue. After that I would probably go with Being Human (BBC version).

So my beloved Central Coast Mariners FC made the league Grand Final this year, which in Australia is unfortunately considered to be the game that 'wins' the league. Anyway personal reservations aside, it was very exciting to be in it against the Brisbane Roar, a team that has only been defeated once this season, and currently on an Australian club side record (and world record, apparently) 28 game unbeaten streak, quite impressive. They beat us once or twice during the season, and we drew with them at least once. Came close to winning, but alas not to be. CCM come second in the league, ensuring that we make the Major Semi Final, and with it, a second chance if we …

  24. Simply put I'm trying Eve online right now (it seeming to be a bit of a passive game with long term based goals, ideal for the upcoming end-of-semester projects and testings in school), and I was wondering if anyone knew of a good (or even not so good) corporation/alliance based at least somewhat around WoT fans (Like the ever lovely Dragons in WoW). I've tried a general search for it, and found some mention of "Wheel of Time ltd" that could be one, but was unable to track it down. Eve being the vast universe that it is, I figured it would be simpler and faster to ask around here before making an extensive plea there. If there is one, I may even see if my convert- I me…

So they're making a sequel to FFXIII. The release date is December 31, 2011. I loved FF13; thought the graphics were amazing, storyline was good, and I really liked the leveling system. Supposedly the sequel carries on right after FF13, time-wise, with Lightning as the main character, with new companions. Now, I liked X-2. I thought the dress spheres thing was strange, but not bad. I know a lot of people hated X-2, but I liked how it wrapped up the story from X. So, the question is, is XIII-2 going to be as good as XIII? Or no? I am inclined to say it will be as good as, but then, I've never met a Final Fantasy game I didn't like.

I've sent this to several websites yesterday, and so far IGN published an article, and Entertainment Weekly online published an article where it mentions and links to my petition. Let's get this movie made, any fan of sci-fi/horror/fantasy would love it. Lovecraft. Del Toro. Cameron. The more coverage and signatures we get the more it will get noticed and then it will get even more. If we can blow it up enough who knows the impact it will have? Thanks.
