For those of you who don't know, the founders of Infinity Ward (Jason West and Vince Zampella) were fired by Activision (Infinity Ward's owner). The firing is because of several reasons, but mainly Activision was being a bunch of douchebags and trying to pull some shit to make money. They owe West and Zampella a bunch of money and wanted to fire them so they didn't have to pay, but also so they could keep rights to the Modern Warfare franchise and do whatever they wanted with it. However, they're being sued, and hopefully West and Zampella will be triumphant. Here's some information: p.s. - click on the links, they're funny.

  2. Started by Sirayn,

Anyone else watch this show? I'm a big fan. The brash, borderline sociopathic protagonist Lightman is kind of House lite, except slightly less snarky, and I enjoy the show's great platonic love affair between Lightman and Foster. The plotting is interestingly layered: I particularly enjoyed episode #2, "Moral Waiver", with its storyline about a possible rape by a commanding officer about to go into Afghanistan, and #9, "Life is Priceless", about the many (many) parties involved in a building collapse. My favourite episode of all has to be #12, "Blinded", about a serial rapist, which is crazy creepy. I'm too scared to rewatch. Somebody hold me. Anyone out th…

http://iamrogue.com/macgruber/ "Holy shit. There's like a million wires in here. I am more like a three wire guy. Theres a green one.... Oh there's like a bunch of green." I admit... I thought this was a dumb idea for a movie. But after seeing the preview I might be wrong....

I love Seth Bullock. It is nice to see him back in action when he took that time machine to the future. The show is actually pretty good...well the pilot was good and that is always a positive.

I'm just seeing this show for the first time. It's a constant barrage of insanely funny and crazy stuff. The characters are so self centered in this whacked out bulldozer manner, it's almost like an updated seinfield. I'm an instant fan. Anyone else like this?

  14. Played the game for about 6+ hours yesterday. First things First. Do NOT sell your Components! I like the combat system. Its still part old-school FF, but its got that fast paced & combo-like part of FFX-2. Your team-mates do there own thing, so it makes the combat even faster than FFX-2. They've taken hints from other RPGs, where you get your equipment from the world, BEFORE they become available in the shop. (meaning you don't have to spend alotta money to get them) But if you miss out your going to be paying a pretty penny. Beginning of the game is definately gear-based, after a certain part of the game, where you can actually 'develop' the chara…

  17. WASHINGTON -- A House subcommittee approved legislation Wednesday aimed at forcing college football to switch to a playoff system to determine its national champion, over the objections of some lawmakers who said Congress has meatier targets to tackle. The bill, which faces steep odds, would ban the promotion of a postseason NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision game as a national championship unless it results from a playoff. The measure passed by voice vote in a House Energy and Commerce Committee subcommittee, with one audible "no," from Rep. John Barrow, D-Ga. "With all due respect, I really think we have more important things to spend our time on," Barr…

Well, now that the draw for the first knock-out phase has been made, time to start to really pay attention to the finest of all cups. Looking at the draw, starting to wonder if it is rigged, to maximise the interest... United - Milan, A certain Beckham returns to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving United. Real Madrid - Lyon. Karim Benzema gets to face his old club. Bayern München - Fiorentina. Luca Toni returns home. For the gamblers, this is the game you will want to keep tabs on for most goals, two teams who does not know any other style than Full speed forward. Internazionale - Chelsea. Mourinho returns to London. The other fou…

  29. Was walking through walmart the other day and noticed Splinter Cell: Conviction was already out on the 360! Couldn't find any pc copies, Turns out, it comes out on the 27th. (not that I have any Cash) Unfortunately for us PC gamers though, we can't shuv it in the console guys face that we pay $50, and they pay $60. in Ubi softs infinite wisdom, they've decided we got to pay $60, because it has 'multiplayer'. Eg. see Ghostbusters, $40 for singleplayer, $60-console, single + multiplayer. Supposedly Splinter Cell: Conviction is only 6-8 hours long, looks to be limited play-throughs. (aka only difference is playing from easy to medium, to hard difficulties.) …
