So I just saw this....and I must say, I was displeased at best. Once again, the previews touted it as a whimsical comedy, when in actuality it was a dark movie with occasional weak attempts at humor. Seriously, most of the funny is lost in the mood created by a person, suffering from Bi-Polar disorder, who has severe aggression issues(Not to mention he is an idiot), failing at his goals of joining the Police Force and scoring the hot girl(Which he does in a very creepy "date rape" sense), only to finally find acceptance in his mundane existence as head of mall security and hooking up with the less hot girl. Maybe I am most upset by the deception.....I…

I'm actually kind of surprised that there isn't already a topic for this, and if there is, I'm sorry-when I tried to search for it, it just came up with and error, so I just took that as there was not an existing topic. Many of you remember the old GoS, originally created by Craig. Well, he eventually gave up on it and made it open source. Anyone in here involved in making games, be it professionally or as a hobbie? I've always wanted to learn DarkBasic because it seems the easiest 3d language, but I can never devote the time or energy to it. A Warhammer 40,000 movie is currently in pre-production. Starting the thread for the new season of Fringe. I'm gonna have to re-watch it before I really comment because I missed a lot. I wish this show was on at 10pm. That would make it 9pm for me and I would be settled and finished with dinner and I could watch it X-Files style from college. Turn out all the lights and shut out the world so I can really soak it in. Last season Hulu carried Fringe. This season I don't see it listed though. That makes me sad. I like it when I can fall back on Hulu if I miss something!

Cop Out looks like complete crap. I actually liked Live Free or Die Hard, a lot. It was exciting, fast-paced, and kept me entertained. I also liked the interplay between Justin Long and Bruce Willis. I wouldn't be totally upset seeing a Die Hard 5, especially if Len Wisemen directed it. As I haven't seen Unbreakable (although I've heard great things from Emperor), I can't say anything about a sequel.

Is anyone here into watching MotoGP? I'm a big fan and can't wait for the season to start next month. I am Aussie so I love Casey Stoner, but who cannot see the brilliance of The Doctor?

I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my new laptop to me. It will be an HP dv4-1514dx and I was wondering if anyone knows if I will be able to play the PC version of Assassin's Creed on it. I don't want to buy the game and find out I can't play it after I open it up.

This is a must see for any nerd and etc. It is a great independent film using D&D as a background for a movie. WAIT it isn't about a D&D play through like the D&D movies are. It is about people who play D&D and their adventures within, using rolling dice. So basically you are watching people play D&D with live sequences showing the events and dice rolls. It is really funny, and my new favourite comedy. Then again, I am a bit of nerd.

And it is on. Hopefully yesterdays tragic death will not be what these games will be remembered for. So adorable to see nations like Ethiopia and Ghana march in, nations not quite famous for their achievements in winter sports ;D I predict 4 gold medals for Sweden, all from skiing. The hockey team will lose against Canada, so depending on when they meet, might be a silver medal. All in all I think we might claim 3-5 silver medals. And a bunch of bronze, but who counts those?

All I have to say is that I'm glad that someone saved this show. I thought that NBC(I think) was mad for cutting this show.

I can't imagine being the studio exec. hearing someone pitch this idea to them. Pitch guy: Imagine Space Invaders Exec: The video game from the 1978? Pitch guy: Exactly. Now, picture that in movie form! Exec: What would that entail exactly? Pitch guy: I have no idea. The story could literally go anywhere. Exec: You've got a gift my friend. Write me up a script, but make sure there's something about space...and invaders. I mean COME ON!
