I highly recommend the series of books. Since this is on HBO, I doubt this discussion goes anywhere but I am excited about it.

When, where, how, who...and erm, well, everything but what. It's July 1st, and by my standards that's time to start researching draft picks and the like. For my part, I'm going to try to not be in jail on draft day, and do a better job working under the auto draft system. For your part, *cough*Empy*cough*, I expect you to start to bring together people for me to humiliate on my way to the title. I assume the draft will be in August, and generally it does take at least a month for us to send telegrams into the mountains where Paityr lives with his owls. So let's form a league, or something. And by let's I mean someone besides me. ;) JD, Defending 8t…

Get ready! Tonight begins the auditions for SYTYCD! I'll be watching this in real time (and catching ANTM later) since it never re-runs and these auditions are always fun. After SYTYCD is the first episode (after the pilot we've all seen a million times now) of Glee. I'll be tuning into that as well.

We all know with the advent of digital music/movies/ect, that the quality of not only the film has increased considerably from the 90s, just like how standard TV To VHS increased the quality of the film we saw then. But hopefully I'm not alone in this, it seems to me, that the people making these newer movies (Specially action packed ones) are forgetting one simple thing. To actually listen to there own movies. I'll give an example from the last two movies I saw in the theater, Star Trek, and Transormers. Star Trek had alot more dialogue (real dialogue, not GO GO GO), and Transformers had alot more 'splosions. But heres the problem I found in these movies. The Au…

So i went to see this with my friends last night, really it was more me being guilt tripped/dragged along but truth be told I really liked it. It was Michael C. Hall's first movie appearance according to his wiki (That's Dexter from Dexter) and he did a wonderful job as the movies antagonist. The movie from the commercials just looked to me like some lame shoot em up w/ gore galore but truth time: it has a really in-depth plot that has something to say about society and where we are headed mind u I guessed the plot twist before a third of the movie was over >.> but it really was a good movie! and the jazz 'Pinocchio' fight scene towards the en…

Welcome to Dragonmount's official place to discuss all your favorite shows on TV. All DM members are welcome to participate in the threads on this board. Before you create a new thread, I would ask that you take a moment and look around before you duplicate a thread. Moderators will be instructed to lock duplicated TV show threads but will try to point you in the right direction of the official thread. This board should only be used to discuss current episodes! Spoilers or news should be posted on the main board (Seanchan Public) and can be linked to the current thread. This is to ensure that people posting can safely post without accidentally reading a spoiler.

Did anybody else besides me go? And if so, what did you think? I got a little woozy due to the IMAX 3-D just Pounding dizzy action scene after dizzy action scene in my face. And I don't easily get motion sickness. So as much as I really enjoyed the footage I saw on IMAX, I may be seeing the full lenght movie on the regular screen. Aside from all of that, my chin hung down near to the floor for just about the whole preview. Awesome stuff!

http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/06/18/bored-to-death-television-teaser-with-schwartzman-and-galifianakis/ Just saw the teaser for this upcoming tv show. It intrigued me, and I think I'd give it a chance. I really like Jason Schwartzman and Galifianakis (ye gods, what a name) entertained me in the Hangover. So, thoughts?

last night. I do not usually remember my dreams. It might be a nightmare really. Ok... So I am in the WSOP (World Series of Poker) and I am at the final table. I think I was sitting there with Jennifer Tilly... a few other no faces and Y. Yeah... somehow my wife is sitting at the table. So I don't remember how... but I go out in forth place. But the wife is still in it!!! It turns out that the wife and Jennifer Tilly are the last two standing... which would be historic as no woman as ever won the main event. Jennifer Tilly goes all in with A-J and the wife calls with 7-7... so basically a coin flip. I think the flop comes 8-8-10... then another 8 on the…

I'm surprised nobody has posted about this game yet. Has anybody heard any Real buzz about it, as in other than EA's own buzz? http://www.brutallegend.com/home.action As a cheesy metal head, I'm just friggin' Giddy over the game concept and I'm not even a gamer. In fact, I still live in the regular XboX dark ages. But if this turns out to be fun, I'll put the XboX 360 on my Christmas list.
