With the coming of the new Rock Band, many people are you know, playing it again. Some of us are just freaks and have been regularly play Rock Band (not me >.<). Hence, the competition of Egos! Well I took a little bit of a break but I'm Back. So the two first round match-ups were FDM vs My bro and Seggie vs The Tigers. First off My brother finally pulled out victory when he really needed it. It was as clutch as clutch gets.... it's a shame that now that he has to face me he's gonna stall out. (Like how I kept that car metaphor going? Sweet I know.) Any who so yeah Bro wins Faces me in 2nd round. The other match-up ended with a surprise upset from Seggie, and a fairly thorough one at that. Seggie moves on to face Empy in the second round.

Aussie hunk Craig Horner ("Blue Water High") and Bridget Regan will star in Sam Raimi's syndicated series "Wizard's First Rule" for Disney-ABC says The Hollywood Reporter. Based on Terry Goodkind's book, part of the epic fantasy series "The Sword of Truth," production begins on 22 episodes this month in New Zealand. Horner will star as woodsman Richard Cypher, who transforms into a magical leader and joins with a mysterious woman named Kahlan (Regan) to stop a bloodthirsty, sinister tyrant. Raimi and Robert Tapert will executive produce. The series premieres this Fall.

There are very few movie villians that REALLY give me the creeps. The hat man in Poltergeist is one of them. Guillermo del Toro, the director of Hellboy II and the upcoming Hobbit films, talked about Hellboy II and ended up giving some great hints at the Hobbit films. http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/video/2008/aug/20/hellboy I was less excited about the Hobbit previously when I found out Jackson wasn't doing it, but del Toro does a brilliant job with the fantastical.
