  1. Started by Emperor,

In a rumor amazing enough that we must repeat it in spite of not knowing if it's true or not, Xbox Evolved is reporting that Goldeneye 007 may soon be available on Xbox Live Arcade. Yes. We know you've heard that before, but this time it's attributed to "very reliable sources." That has to count for something, right? Look, we just really, really want this to be true. Don't shoot down our dreams. The game that everyone loved will feature updated graphics and Xbox Live multiplayer.

Warner Bros have decided they'll only be publishing their movies in Blu-Ray. Previously they had backed both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD. http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/04/did-warner-brothers-just-kill-hd-dvd/index.html?hp So does this mean that HD-DVD will die?

Yes THREE exclamation marks. So you have finally decided to join the Seanchan org. We are greatly pleased. I meant I... not we.... that would mean more than one voice is welcoming you and we all know that is just crazy talk. Speaking of welcoming you (work with me here as I am trying to get the subject back on track)... your welcome package is in the mail. This includes a hand signed photograph on the Emp as well as VIP passes to 'the band'... which we haven't put together yet but soon the Seanchan will host a REAL band... well real in regards as on a video game... like on Rock Band. Anyway, welcome. Please let us know if you have questions.

First off let me warn you about this mysterious bag that will come around do your welcome thread. Some of the older members like to trick the newbies into the bag. You don't want to know what happens to few newbies that got in.... suffice to say I have never seen them again. Serious spiel: Speil.... spiel.... speel.... Ever have a word trip you up and ruin the serious tone you are trying to set? Anyway... the Seanchan org is based on the idea that everyone is equal and that we want to hear from each member. Feel free to start threads and interact in any thread you want. The idea behind the org is to exude a family feeling. Also things may seem a little …

  8. Started by Emperor,

This is probably a movie that slipped by your notice when it was released in theatres a few months ago. To me it almost seemed it went straight to video and did not pop up on my radar until it was nominated for a Golden Globe (three noms= Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Score). Most of the time the movies that are ignored by the general population in the theatres are real gems when you actually sit down and watch them. The story basically follows a doctor (Naomi Watts) as she is slowly introduced to the Russian Mafia that resides in London. The director (Cronenberg) is trying to follow up his last acclaimed work, History of Violence, with another film that ex…

  9. I read recently, that a Dragon Ball Live Action Movie is being made, or going to be made. (IMDB says August 08' release) Whether or not this is just some Elaborate Rumor, or actually true, Just the Idea is hilarious... So far, the 'cast members' are the following... Justin Chatwin - Goku James Marsters - Piccolo Chow Yun-Fat - Master Roshi Jamie Chung - Chi-Chi Eriko Tamura - Mai Emmy Rossum - Goku's Future Wife Now Imagine watching any random episode of Dragon Ball Z (you know, since about 95% of all the episodes, Goku 'powers up' in a way that looks like he is really constipated, combine that with the guy who is expected to play h…

Anybody watch this last night? I was expecting it to be horrible, but I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, it wasn't Fantastic, but it was good enough to keep me interested. Basically, it's what Big Shots tried to be for men, but couldn't deliver. Proving that the Sex in the City module really only works in a woman's world. I was, however, shocked at how old Miranda Otto looked. Is she supposed to be 40? I thought for sure she was in her 30s. *shrugs* SPOILERS I liked how they dealt with the spinster's struggle over love and sexuality. And I liked how they dealt with the nanny situation and that character feeling like she was being held hostag…

I saw this movie tonight, Its pretty good, but not the 'greatest movie of all time'. For those that don't know, this film stars, Will Smith, the sole survivor in New York City after a virus spreads like a plague, killing 90% of the population, leaving the rest of the 9.99999% of the population genetically altered into some kind of Human-Zombie-Vampire, who hunt any remaining human survivors, and probably, other 'human-zombie-vampires'. Will Smith plays Robert Nevel, a military Scientist, whos daily quest is to survive in New York, but also find a cure for the Virus. The last 'human' he saw was roughly 2.5 years ago, his only companion, is a Dog. I can't rea…

Saw this today, I enjoyed it alot more then I did AvP. (Thats not saying much to others though...) Theres a nice little tie in at the beginning to AvP, and a nice lil tie in at the end to Alien. ;D I don't quite know how I'd rate it, but I will say its one to see in the theaters, if not more then to see a movie with some REAL blood shed. ;D The beginning started off kind of slow, trying to make ties between characters, and all that other fun stuff making me go.. "COME ON! MORE HOT PREDATOR ON ALIEN ACTION!" The movie however, does make you, or at least me, Think about the ending, and just what it means... It has a beginning, a middle, and most defniately …

Well it would be easy to just post a list of my top games of 2007, but where would the fun be. Sinister came up with a fun way to determine the top Games of 2007 (as selected by the Seanchan Org and their guests). Basically anyone can nominate any game they want. In order to make it to the final voting, the game has to be seconded by another member. Once we have a nice listing, ever person will rank their selections. Once everyone has ranked their selections, we will tabulate the final list of games. Sounds complicated doesn't it.... so...errr... just follow along then. Start off with your nominations: Empy noms: Gears of War Call of Duty 4 Biosho…

Ok, it will take quite some time before this movie is available for people outside Scandinavia, but since I got nothing better to do, I might just as well give it a quick review. The story is based on the trilogy by Swedish author Jan Guilliou, a mix of historical events and pure fiction. The movie starts in Sweden in the late 12th century, when three clans fought for power, Folkunga, Sverker and Erik. Arn Magnusson is born into the Folkunga clan, and it is mostly his life we get to follow. As a child he is sent to a monastery when his mother promises to give him to God because she fears he is about to die after falling down from a tower. In the monastery he lea…

This was the first of the double header of movies I saw day after Christmas. For the most part this is just a fun movie. If you try to look at it from a "that could never happen" point of view you wouldn't enjoy it. There's a lot of stuff that would make you say "Oh c'mon, for real?". The acting I thought was decent, and the story was fun. So I guess to rap it up, this was a fun movie. Anyone seen it?

Assassin's Creed Mass Effect Bioshock Halo 3 Settlers of Catan; XBL Arcade I would also like to say this year has been amazing on a personal level for video games in general. It seems like the market is both expanding into different genres and cross-overs are becoming popular. It also seems like for the most part quality is moving up at a great level. The number of quality titles that have come out and are announced seem to be head and shoulders above any other year I can remember.

If you've ever been to an Arcade, or a movie theater, you should have seen games like Evil Dead, and Time Crisis, The newest Time Crisis game (Time Crisis 4 duh!) Has been remade and Improved for the ps3! (Like Time Crisis 1 or 2? for the Ps1) The game runs around $79.99, but you recieve not only the Arcade/Campign versions of the game, but the Guncon 3, Newly Improved, and makes FPS style combat in Time Crisis 4, possible. No longer do you go through the same old hide behind a wall, stand up to shoot, rinse and repeat action. You now, can run around, jump, move wherever the hell you want on the screen, and shoot your Enemies on the screen! How you ask? It has 2 a…

I looked at the first page and didn't see anyone else talking about this movie, so I thought that I would. I saw this movie the day after Christmas, and I really enjoyed it. Though I hear that is differs slightly from the book, what movie doesn't, it was really well done. I thought that Will Smith did an excellent job acting in this movie, which he was by himself in for the majority of it. The special effects were excellent in my opinion, and the story was excellent. Anyone else seen it?

  25. The regular season ended last night with a few playoff spots still in contention. Here are how things came out... Tenshin vs. Emperor - Tenshin actually won a game last week! It helps when your RB does not have to share time with AP. But with Peterson back and Denver having a subpar game, Emperor took the win and secured his playoff spot. Final 126 - 61. Kynwric vs. Hax - both teams showed up this week as their teams had the combined highest score of the week. Unfortunately a win did not matter for either team but Hax took home the bragging rights. Final 127-123. Saldean vs. Karana - A fight for a first round bye made for an interesting match up. It …

For many an age, the Powers of TX and SD long debated about the supremacy of the 360 and the PS3. TX wielded the mighty Ring of Light, and SD long used the power of the Cell for his wicked purposes. Long ages passed and a stalemate was reached, until a new hope for unity came! Sorandha came and was well learned in the Lore of Video Games. Lo! She was even a maker of the magic that keeps the geeks at bay! What words of wisdom does this crafter have to impart? Stay tuned and find out! Sorry, but I've been listening to the LotR audiobooks for the last week or so. :P
