Three years ago today, I became the Mistress at Arms. They made me grow up, and they made me be responsible. It has been a wonderful three years, filled with a lot of laughter and fun, and a lot of growth for me. As much as I may grumble sometimes, I really do enjoy it. My sister, Mavin, sent me a link to this wonderful online tea shop yesterday: Adagio Teas. They have all the normal teas (black, green, rooibos, etc.), but they also do blended teas. For their blended tea section, they have them by fandoms. You can get a Sherlock tea, or a Game of Thrones tea, a Harry Potter tea, or even a Wheel of Time tea! And, you can create your own blends too! The kind I want to try--from the Welcome to Night Vale fandom--isn't available until mid-June, so I'm going to put off ordering until then. But I'm going to have to add in a WoT tea, just for the heck of it!

Heya! Sorry I havent been around. Just dealing with a lot in life. Been really really busy and stressed, and honestly just havent been wanting to be around. Even stopped playing games on my PC. I've seen a hundred different ways on Pinterest how to draw and design shoes with sharpie markers. Well, I wanted to try to do a WT themed shoe, and here's what I got so far!! The markers bled so much, it didn't turn out as sharp as I'd imagined. Also, I'll detail the white seams with black. Just couldn't take the fumes anymore!

Silent Library Game This is a game for 2+ players. However, I'm taking 6 for this current game. We can change that as time goes on. Gameplay: Each of the six players, when I say GO, will pick a number 1-6, only one player per number. First come, first serve with numbers, so respond quick. In the case of ninja, first post gets it. Each number correlates to a card, with either the word SAFE (meaning you're safe for the round) or a SKULL (which means you'll have to do a challenge for the round). Most people seem to have joined DM, and thereafter the White Tower & Warders, after having read most or all the books that were published at that time. Some joined after having read quite a few books, but not all available. A small group joined after reading only 1 or 2 books, and amazingly 1 or 2 who hadn't read the books at all! So I have a few questions :) 1) How far (if at all) had you read into the books by the time you joined DM, and then the White Tower / Warders? 2) What drew you to joining Dragonmount? 3) What drew you to joining the White Tower & Warders? Ma is curious.

My husband and I just arrived at the hotel and there's merriment all around all ready--even though things don't start till tomorrow. I've already ran into EP (Eternal Phoenix to you youngsters) and Maria Simon--Robert Jordan's assistant! I can't wait to see more friends as the nights and days progress!
