Hello. *waves shyly* So I've been hiding in the Green quarters for the past couple of days, but I think I'm finally ready to come out. My name is Eladari and I'm a newbie-oldie. I was around the boards a good few years ago now, and have suddenly found myself drawn back. I haven't yet figured out how to come back onto the RP side of things, but I do plan to. I also hope to get some siggies up and going once I have a bit of free time. In the meantime though, I'm happy to see some of the other Oldies around here, and also happy to meet everyone else!!!!! *snuggle-huggles the entire WT* -El

And you know what that means??? It means that the White Tower is getting ready to get involved in a service project. This year I have a whole month's worth activities scheduled in addition to asking you all to do something good for your communities. The Theme of the project this year is "Support your Shelters!" Any kind of shelter will do: animal, children's, women's, homeless. The point is that if you know of an organization in your area who helps shelter those in need, please join the White Tower in an effort to help out in any way that you can. There is no such thing as a "Tamyrlin Seat". It is NOT a male Amyrlin. Lews Therin wore "The Ring of Tamyrlin", which was supposedly owned by Tamyrlin, the first channeler. No one knows if Tamyrlin was a man or a woman. It was a symbol of how awesome he was, not of leadership. Its right there in the expanded glossary in "Into the Blight", the second half of the YA edition of "The Eye of the World". I swear to god, I will slap the eyebrows off the next person who makes that mistake.

Last night a couple of my work friends (well one is ex-work) and I went to this event called Crossmas - where everyone's meant to cross-dress for charity. You'd think we could have just taken it easy and put on some pants - we wear them every day anyway. But I decided to go as a labourer, and my friend Robyn decided to go as a bikie (her brothers are bikies so she borrowed some of their clothes). And Fi went as a labourer too. I have a feeling that there is a vile plot involving whip cream and delicious graham cracker crusts afoot, and that you may be a target. I also have a bad feeling that I started it, although not directly.

It's not even Thanksgiving yet, but the radio has already been playing Christmas songs this week, and a local community college has set up Christmas trees in the cafeteria already. Now, Christmas is my favorite holiday, but even I get tired of seeing Christmas season stuff out too early. What do the rest of you think about this? Does this kind of thing annoy you, or do you like the extension of the Christmas season?

Just wanted to say hi... cause I'm back.

I need to do something with my hair. My parents kinda want me to cut it. I don't know if I want to cut it and dye it blonde or just re-color the blonde chunk on my left side(I have lots of roots showing). So, I take it to the wonderful WoT people to help me decide!
