Hello everybody, and to all the very old members, hello again! It's been... a long, long--okay, well years since I've been here. I still recognize a few names though ;) Anyway I started out at DM back in 2001 and have been off-on since, and I'd like to get into RPing again. Actually, I was about to get into RPing again when some unexpected RL matters transfered me to a different state, and with all the happy stress that came with it I totally forgot about RPing. Well its nice to be back :)

... I only had an hour with my worst class, and that hour was broken in half by Picture Day. Also, my School Designer (its an Expeditionary Learning thing) is helping me with my writing instruction, because I haven't the first clue how to teach Language Arts properly. How about you?

I get to see DM people in two weeks. I just got back from Vegas, where I saw DM people. And I'm getting ready for Dragon*Con, which will have TONS of DM people there. Sometimes I think I'm a hopeless geek with no life, because all my friends live inside this magic box on my lap. But then I see you all at one of these events, and I realize I'm not hopelessly geeky. I'm hopelessly picky. I can only be friends with the most awesome of people, who are unfortunately scattered around the globe.

So I've got this social studies class and we're getting ready to start Australia. I would LOVE for them to talk to a real Australian. They are convinced that ya'll are a country of Crocodile Hunters. I'm looking for a volunteer for my class to call and interview over speaker phone. We're in the Eastern Time Zone and my class meets from 8:20 to 10:30 AM, currently. We're discussing a schedule change though, because I'm about to murder my afternoon class. Anyways, I think Australia's east coast is 12 hours ahead of us, so that should be late evening. I'm not sure what the time difference is for Perth or other areas. Anyone interested?
