Have things changed since I was last around? It seemed to be a lot more informal in terms of what you could and couldnt do before...I'm sure it used to be the case that you could more or less do what you wanted in the community, that it wasn't as strict as the RP side of things. This is a general question, but in particular I am refering to Channeling. I was reading a post in the Lecturing Hall earlier which was a little confusing on he subject of who could Channel and when in the WT community. It always used to be my understanding that this was no biggie, and that people could if they wanted, as this is, after all, just a community of friends having fun, not any kind…

-waaaves- Hey! I'm Khrys (though the character is Ikaiko<3) I'm 17- a Highschool Senior! I was part of DM, oh, maybe 2-3 years ago. I met someone through here, we talked A LOT... and then we lost contact in eachother, and with DM. I was only a Novice, at that point, so I didn't consider it a huge loss. Am I the only person here who watches Studio 60? I was a huge huge fan of both the West Wing and Friends, and to see my two favorite actors together in a show like this is just priceless. Not to mention Aaron Sorkin who is possibly the best writer in the world. The first two episodes weren't all that, but yesterday's was amazing. Also, Bradley Whitford can dance, and I'm a big pile of goo. That man may be the same age as my father, but good lord he's sexy! So, am I the only fan, or is anyone else watching it as well?

So well now as being a naughty novice i have chores soooo all novices are to give me there white robes when they are dirty so that i may clean them. Hello everyone! I don't know how many people remember me, it's been a couple years I think. I first joined DM a week after my 14th birthday, and now I'm 17 and at college (which is exciting if tiring)and... Just felt like seeing what was going on! If I have enough time I may read/post every now and then, but I don't think I'm coming back to full activity. We'll see, I gues. Is there a White Tower web page anymore? I couldn't find a link. And everything is so different! I knew they were changing the format, but this is different. At least they got the sigs back up. :D Going now, bye!

I've noticed a few people pushing the limits of what is acceptable for sig pics and avatars. Sometime this week I'm going to go through and edit the offending profiles. Do me a favor and check these guidelines. If you are out of wack, please fix it before I do. =)

What are some books that you enjoyed as a kid? I loved Narnia books, and fairytales. I also loved this series that was about a planet made entirely of mushrooms. A couple of kids build themselves a spaceship and travel there. Its pure 1950's schlock sci fi and I absolutely loved it.

Y'know, I'm getting really envious of all the snazzy signature pics that are out there. Especially now that I'm a der'Manishma, I feel that I should look the part. My command pin graphic does a great job for the icon, but... I'd like to get one of these cool sig pics, too, but have absolutely no skill or knowledge with this sort of thing. Is there anyone with some artistic or graphic talent that wants to earn some favors (get yer mind out of the gutter, Lor)? Lacking that, I'm sure cold hard cash can speak, too. :)

And so I came online. (Because really, what else is there to do at almost 3am? Actually.. don't answer that.) My LJ is being stupid and so instead of posting my woe there I decided to do it here. Lucky you. This has been one very boring weekend. I spent most of it being sick with the Cold from Hell (btw, random fact: there is a place just 30 minutes north of where I live called Hell. It's very fab, except not really as there is an airport, a hotel and a train station there and nothing else). I had to work both Friday and Saturday, and because of aforementioned cold work was generally bad. Then today I did nothing. I slept in (which is probably why I can't sleep no…

This is a very straight forward game, that won't hopefully take too much time to complete. I'm hoping we'll be done before Wednesday, cause thats when I completely disappear for Dragon*Con. The first seven people to sign up get to play. One of you will be chosen to be the Black Ajah. Another person will be chosen to be the Dreamer. This will be done via PM. Each "night" in game time, the Black sister will choose a victim to murder. The next day, the surviving members will get together and try to decide who the murder is. The Dreamer will be able to PM me once per "day" asking me a yes or no question about another player. Everyone will be able to post their dream…

Alright all you folkses, here's how it is: The White Tower is doing a re-read of the series, sponsored and led by the White Ajah. Every week we'll read about two chapters, and the following weekend we'll post a thread encouraging discussion on those chapters and the plotline to-date. This hopefully will keep people motivated to read along, and help us keep up with what's going on. At two chapters a week this could take a long time. We may change the number of chapters as we go, but I have to keep in mind that some people work-full time, some are college students, and we really want to give everyone a chance to keep up. Plus in the later books the chapters get loonnggg…

i would like someone to research the history of the red ajah here at DM, and i will give you two points for it!! if you are interested please post here or pm me!! this is a great way to find out about the red ajah, and others who have done this project have found its helps them with choosing their ajah!! this is on a first come, first serve basis!! ;)
