BUT in this day and age there's also chocolate AS art! more and more bakers and chocolatiers are finding new and more impressive ways to mold and shape chocolate. sometimes to the point of it barely being recognizable as chocolate. competitions have even popped up for the art. so here we're enjoying that bounty! hunt and find impressive chocolate sculptures and share them here for all to enjoy. and maybe eat. it is chocolate after all.

Okay, brothers, sisters, Mother, *nods.* We’re about to have a lot of fun by writing poems, called limericks, to WIN. But you’ll have to swallow a mouthful (of chocolate), here, to understand how this works. A limerick is a fun, short, poem with five lines. The first, second, and fifth line in the poem are longer than the third and fourth. Line 1 has 7-10 syllables, Line 2, 7-10, Line 3 it’s 5-7 syllables instead, Line 4, 5-7 again, then line 5, back to 7-10 syllables. The rhyming scheme is AABBA, with the longer lines all rhyming with each other and the two short lines in the middle rhyming. Edward Sear made them rea…

Are you a David Bowie fan like me? Do you know much about the man? Here's a little background... David Robert Jones was born in Brixton on January 8, 1947. At age 13, inspired by the jazz of the London West End, he picked up the saxophone and called up Ronnie Ross for lessons. Early bands he played with – The Kon-Rads, The King Bees, the Mannish Boys and the Lower Third –provided him with an introduction into the showy worlds of pop and mod, and by 1966 he was David Bowie, with long hair and aspirations of stardom rustling about his head. Kenneth Pitt signed on as his manager, and his career began with a handful of mostly forgotten singles and a he…

I feel this idea of journey before destination is a large part of the fantasy genre. How does it tie into the film "The Labyrinth"? Let's take a look.... When Sarah first enters the labyrinth, she runs into a worm. The worm gives her advice with navigating the labyrinth, and sends her on her way. As Sarah goes down one way, the worm tells her, "Don't go that way! Never that way!" Sarah goes the opposite. After Sarah leaves, the worm says, "If she'd 'ave kept on goin' down that way she'd 'ave gone straight to that castle." This is so interesting to me. What would have happened if Sarah had gone s…
