OOC: Carried over from these two threads: Conflict: Exploring the wrong area of the Tower! Challenge: Homeland IC: Gaidan stood before the Mistress of Trainees door in a mixed state of emotions that were barely contained in the Void. On one hand he had to present himself for punishment because he was in the wrong area of the Tower on his first day! On the other he was ecstatic to know that when he reached Tower Guard status he would belong to a very beautiful Sister that needed him! Oh Rasheta! I will make it soon that I can be with you! Gathering his nerves and silently vowing to push forward no matter what the Mistress did to him, he knocked sharply three times. …

Looking around the Office room that he shared with Mehrin, Amon was pleased to see that all the paperwork was finished and that it was time for him to take a basic horsemanship class. Although they could be tedious in the repetitive nature of the lessons. It was a chance to get to know the newer members of the Band, something that was not always possible having the weight of Command around his neck. Leaving the Office Amon made his way to the new stables. Here the Band kept horses for the officers and for training purposes, or if they were recovering from injury. The Cavalries main herds were kept in fields scattered around the Citadel, and watched over by local people wh…

Carnhain sat in his saddle. He was still, letting the afternoon sun bake his bare shoulders. Horsebow in hand and broadsword balanced by full quiver, he waited for the day's student. He watched patiently as Rurak approached. As Carnhain had requested, the man had brought his weapons and horse, ready for the day's training session. "How well do you shoot from horseback?" cried the Lieutenant to the Archer. ooc: what kind of bow does Rurak use? and what are his other weapons?

Kedyn reached out towards his toes and grunted as his muscles stretched in his right leg. The slash was itching tremendously though it was healing quicker than his other gashes had. Looking around the Citadel one could have never guessed that there had been a battle near here, a battle where they had fought shadows of themselves. But underneath the smiles, the greetings there was the strain that came after the battle. The Field of the Fallen had grown once gain. But right now Kedyn's only thoughts were on the student that was coming to meet him. Rurak, an archer, was returning for another lesson in hand to hand. Kedyn could remember the man, he had taught him quie…

Eqwina what exactly were the items we were allowed to bring with us in addition to the horse. Weapon, food, blanket roll, water skins? It may be helpful to know so others can post in greater detail knowing what items they were allowed to bring. Plus they could purposely add an item or two that they weren't supposed to have for Mistress Thera to find. This way you don't have to make something up. Just a thought. ;)

It was just before sunset when Selene and Jasine rode up the bridges to the island of Tar Valon. Travel-worn and weary, the guard narrowed his eyes and looked at them closely before nodding to Selene's assertion that she was sent to the tower by an Aes Sedai. They rode on into the city of Tar Valon itself, weariness forgotten in the majesty of the city up close. For Jasine, the beauty of the city was of second importance to the safety of his sister. Once the guard at the bridge had let them by he managed to relax enough to really behold the glory of the fabled Tar Valon. The reddening sunlight made the white walls glow almost pink, transforming the delicately for…

I saw where it came up in someone else's progress that there was some confusion over advancement though they started with a different WS then me. I'll use my case as an example so I can understand it: I started with a WS of 2. Now looking at the information on the Warder Div website http://www.aliciawilkerson.com/warders/?page_id=18 it says this: 0-1 – 1 requirement fulfilled (will know Basic movements and be physically fit at completion) 1-2 – 1 requirement fulfilled (will know their philosophy of choice at completion) 2-3 – 1 requirement fulfilled (will know Basic Forms at completion) 3-4 – 1 requirement fulfilled (will have basic survival skills at…

Perivar sat his mount on the edge of the Osendrelle Erinin, the bells in his twin braids jingled as he craned his neck to stare up at the massive White Tower. The sun reflected off the tower making it appear as if made of polished metal. He stood in awe of the city which was actually an island on the River Erinen. The borderland cities were nothing to scoff at though their architecture could not compare to that of the Ogier and Aes Sedai. The Aes Sedai and her Warder spoke with a guardsman while the pack of borderlanders stared in awe of the White Tower. The pair crossed the Luagde Bridge while the guardsman made his way to Perivar and his companions. A li…

Hey, I am of course a hopeless lurker who goes through old threads and reads them, and found something of use. I found a thread that tells us all about what's happening in the different contries all across RP-land. Granted, it's about seven months old, but I'm pritty sure that the things in there aren't innacurate. http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,24227.0.html Check it out

So, I've just gotten back from my last LOA, and now I'm going again for a week (well, five nights) starting tomorow morning. I might have some internest access, but I've done this before, and I know the only access I could get is during meal times and I want to eat at those times. ;) Anyway, sorry for everyone I'm RPing with, but that's gonna have to go on hold for now.

Well, given that in the recent set of OP classes something went horribly wrong in pretty much all of them, me and Elgee got together and talked about the idea of having a mass punishment thread going since most of class is guilty of something :P Anyway, if you wish to join in (you don't have to necessarily be in the same class, just happen to be sent at the MoN's office at the wrong time XD) just post here. It's open to Accepted as well, whether as supervisors or as one of those that have to do penance. Of course, if you have suggestions or comments of your own, feel free to mention them as well. This may count as the Chore RP (one of the electives) or the Freed…

Since I now have high speed, my e-mail address at look.ca will no longer work since it's through the dial-up provider. So, I thought to myself "Why not just make a new hotmail one for everything?" So that's what I've done. My new e-mail is tigara@live.com, so make sure to change your address book. It will also be my new MSN addy, so please add me. I'll try to transfer everyone over, but that's a lot of work, so if you haven't been added by me, add me. Thanks!

A gentle rain was falling on Tar Valon. Of course, the wind itself wasn't so gentle, so the rain was getting rudely dashed against the windows. "Bloody noise," Raeyn grumbled to herself as the glass rattled in its casements. The Brown Sister sighed and laid the book she had been trying to read on the side table before leaning back in her long chair and lacing her fingers together over her stomach. "Is a woman not permitted a few hours of peace, quiet, and solitude these days?" she muttered, letting her attention focus briefly upon a raindrop being blown across the window. Shaking her head, Raeyn levered herself out of the chair, smoothing her dark copper …

Hey, I'm Talavin, and I have a wee little TG trainee named Arath. Now, my little trainee is a bit of a social outcast, and tends to spend all of his time overworking himself. Now, he's been working like this for a year, and as I'm sure you all know, that's far from healthy. So, I want Arath to collapse and be sent to the Yellows. Now, the Yellows know that the only way for him to keep up his health is to take periodic breaks (like take a day off every week or something) so they tell him that and say something like "if I see you in this Infirmary again overworked, I'll have you kicked out of the Yards" or something like that so that he's really forced to take breaks. Anyon…

I have started a Flame and Void class for one trainee, but since I am taking a week off in between I am opening this thread up to others if you'd like to join. Here is the following schedule for a group (2 or more people). Opening post - today First Lesson - Thursday Second Lesson - Sunday You have until Saturday to post to the thread before I need to stop you from joining in. The sunday lesson will be a group lesson if there are two or more people. If I have only the one then it will be something slightly different. So I need to know who's all in and who's not by then so you have something to do while I'm away for a week. There is no need to po…

Perivar rose bright and early, he was going to make sure that he did not miss training today. The bells at the ends of his braided hair jingled as he splashed water on his face from the washstand. He scrubbed his teeth with salt and soda then hurried for the door to begin his morning run. As he left the barracks he glanced at his armor neatly arrayed on the armor stand near his cot. The warder had said that he did not need to wear it. Putting that out of his mind he set off on his run wondering what his day was going to be like... Perivar finished his run and quickly made his way to the training yard as the sun began to show on the horizon. It appeared as thoug…

It was a hot day in Tar Valon, hotter than usual despite being on the River Erinin with its cool breezes. But Chebar didn't notice. Her body was wracked with fever, and the heat she felt had nothing to do with the heat the sun was providing. She was burning up and yet her body was shaking with chills. She had prolonged the moment of this visit for far too long and if she died, it would be by her own folly, she thought bitterly. Clutching her bare arms against herself, she waited inside the main entrance where she had been told by a girl only a few years older than herself that she would be seen by an Aes Sedai as soon as she was available. Under normal circumstances…

...For my Myrddraal to get some screen time in the RP. Anyone interested? She's a Fadeling at this point, decent WS but nothing spectacular (4 i believe, need to check) and, more importantly, i want her to be more than a mook when starting to face PCs with a relative chance of success ;)

Kabria Delondre’s Arches At 25 Kabria still knew little of the shore bound; though she had spent almost 6 years in their midst. Since her roots were deep in the soil Kabria had read every book and manuscript she could find and yet she knew little of use. Yes, she knew the running’s of the courts of Tear, and the proper techniques when dealing with a Tinker, but their thought processes were what remained shrouded in mystery. It was a mystery she dearly hoped to one day solve. Kabria hardly remembered life before her mother..NO! The woman did not deserve such a title; before Katarina had abandoned her to her fate. There were vague memories of a man’s smiling fa…

It had been months, and yet Corwin still didn't know what he wanted to do with his life. Eqwina had shown him that much at least. He had given up on the Tower, but now he didn't even wear anything from the Tower, beyond his weapons. That was a part of his life he had left behind, he had even gotten rid of his coin with the Flame on it. It was simple enough really, whenever people liked to gamble that is. Thus his life had taken him to Andor. Not the farthest from the Tower, but far enough. He had been staying at an inn called The Strong Man, Corwin always smirked when he saw the sign. The innkeeper was a rather dull man so naturally he had no imagination for an in…

Gaidan had asked around the Yard about how to become the best as fast as he could and had been told to learn the forms. So here he was in the training yard waiting for a Tower Guard or Warder to come in so he could ask them to teach him. It wasn't the best way perhaps but all he could think of since this is where they all trained at. He watched everyone who entered but they all seemed to be passing through or busy sparring with equals. He was starting to give up when a lone Warder walked in. Looking behind the Warder as he took off his cloak, Gaidan got excited. This Warder was alone and now was his chance! Walking quickly, he strode up to the man and stopped a good …
