Aureli watched her students file out of her classroom and gave a few of them some nods, acknowledging that they had done a good job. Now, they had to go and finish their compositions, and all she had to do was sit back and relax while she wrote the lesson plans for the next class of advanced grammar. Amahn Luthgar awoke early to the cold air of his sleeping quarters. With a slight shiver he sat up, wrapping the thick blankets he had kicked off in his sleep around his shoulders tightly. He sat there in his bed for a moment before finally throwing the blankets off and standing up drowsily. Pankhuri entered the city of Tar Valon. The first sight left her stunned. As an Andoran she had thought that Caemlyn was the greatest city but even that could not prepare her for the sight of Tar Valon. The city was too beautiful to be true. Kira moved through the tower excitement showing on her face. She had been give the task of teaching a novice how to read. Kira was nervous, but at the same time was excited. She moved carrying some books with her. With some trouble, she managed to locate a primer that would help the young girl learn her letters and their sounds. She purposely went to the room early to set up the room and mentally prepare herself. She arrived and set the primer on the table with a pen and some ink. Amahn stepped out onto the training grounds, mixing in among the other recruits. Dust hovered around his ankles as he stirred it up with each step. Hey guys, I am sure many of you are familiar with November being Nanowrimo. Well I do write outside of Robert Jordan's wonderfully created world and I am going to take November to focus on one of those projects of mine. I'll still try and check the board and get some replies in so nobody is left hanging but it probably won't be on a daily basis.

So the basic setting is. The band didn't get its weekly shipment of meat and other goodies from the supply cart that goes in, and the next wagon load won't be arriving until the week after. Running low on good stuff to eat, a few of the band decide to venture out into the woods to hopefully collect some game to subsidize their otherwise bland meals. This will also be set some time after the most recent sparring session that everyone did, and thus everyone would at least be familiar to the weapons they are carrying. Anyone wanna half die in an awesome fight or tumble down a flight of stairs and sprain an ankle? Anything at all you can think of. I'll come up for a reason for my Yellow to be there. As some of you may have already heard - Quibby, the head of the BoTRH, has asked some Children of the Light to participate in his new chapter divided RP which will be critical to the advancement of his main character Mehrin. Roudal pushed the papers on his desk aside as he heard loud conversations mulling up outside of his office. It's been years since this has taken place, and with the influx of new faces, I think it's time that we held another one. The Red Trench is a tournament/party that is held in the quarry where the stone for the Citadel was mined. There is alcohol to consume, gambling to lose money on, and a large open area where people can spar for the entertainment of everybody else. There is no real rhyme or reason to RP the Red Trench other than having fun with each other's characters in whatever way you want. Want a rivalry? You can start one here.
