I have been craving a really exciting RP, something a little dramatic but slightly goofy. I am thinking an outing for some Aes Sedai, maybe a warder and a tower guard or two, perhaps a run in with the Whitecloaks. *eyes Nyna* Any takers? Can you tell I am having withdrawals? My accepted needs to decide on an Ajah and I wondered if there were any Blue sisters or White sisters around? I want to work out an RP!

Even though I have been on the Warders staff for awhile now I am still feeling my way around the new job. I just wanted to check in with everybody and make sure you all are doing okay. Is there anything I can do for anybody? Any questions, comments, complaints? Just let me know! Watch the complaints though *winks* Make sure I am having a happy day first. 8)

Bad news first: I am stepping down as Division Leader. While I enjoy doing the job I am finding my real life is leaving me little time to do both adminstrative duties and RP at DM. So in order to do what I like doing at DM I am resigning my position as Warder DL. It has been a good run. Good news: While not completely official till you hear it from Owen, Eqwina will be taking over the helm of leadership in the Warders. She has proven her self capable and I wish her the best of luck in running the show. I will still be around doing the Master at Arm duties (promoting TGs and Warders) and rping with Sasha when I can but I can't say that will be alot …

Just something i've been wondering about, but how would this work in combination with the OP? Take, for example, a quartestaff. As a physical weapon in the hands of an AS, she could only get a max. WS of 5 with it. But what if she uses a weave of air to move the weapon for her, some twenty feet away from where she's standing? Would she still be tied to that WS 5 despite using the OP to essentially boost her fighting skill? DISCLAIMER: No, i am not trying to Godmod myself to an ueber powerful character. I'm just being (overly) curious like most Novices ^^;

Allright, here's me again with yet another technical question concerning Aes Sedai and the OP in general ^_^. Please have a look at this weave i'm using as an example. The requirements are listed below: Amplify Voice -- Air: 2 -- Fire: 2 -- Skill: 7 Now, my character has an 8 in Air and Fire, and a Skill score of 33. My question is, that since she has 4x the requirements for the weave, would she be able to make that weave 4x as strong? Or loud, in this case? I suppose a rule covering the weaving of multiple weaves at once would also cover this one, but i've been unable to find it thus far ^^;

Yeah... I'm back after god knows how long. I think close to a month. I'm sorry for any backups my LoA might have caused, it truly wasn't intentional. I haven't had access to a computer for all but the first few days. Driver issues, that it wouldn't let me go in and fix, reformatted, and suddenly 30000 other issues pop up...and my comp forgets how to renew and release IPs... And to top it all off, I got my access to school computers cut, for being on MSN for a bit. :-\ I haven't had a chance to really look around but it appears I'm still staff, and will get to approving bios and other duties that must have blocked up as soon as possible, and probably more importantly…

I was thinking about PMing or emailing this, but then i figured the Freelander forums could use some love, so here goes. Anyway... I was thinking about a pirate character. None of that whole Darkfriend stuff, just an 'old-fashioned' criminal posing as a trader. One that has command over a small vessel of her own, possibly even have a Talent. Listening to the Wind comes to mind, but it requires her to be able to channel according to the WT so i don't know if i'm going to end up doing that. Probably not, since i want to ultimately end up with a high WS on her. Either way, it'll be a while before i actually submit her since i already have three new characters …

You have in common with the other people in this division or DM for that matter. We all love RJ's books, otherwise most of us wouldn't be here. Sometimes we get so busy or so into stuff that we forget that the person sitting on the other end of that comp is a real person. Most of them have school, work, kids or no kids, family of some kind, pets, hobbies, etc. We often forget they are also capable of doing things wrong just as we are and look at them as an invisible person on the other line. Now that my character's been accepted, i'd like to hold a short RP about her being led in front of one of the Band's commanding officers. She has something she's been wanting to ask, it being the very reason why she went and sought out the Band in the first place.
