Hey there ladies, :) There has been a discussion going on between the Grays about taking any Accepted interested in the Gray Ajah, as well as those wanting to see a bit of the world outside Tar Valon, for a trip to a different country, where they get to experience everything from the etiquette expected from them while staying at a Lord's house, to being able to adapt to another world's culture. :) There will be more details on this once I'm aware who's interested. If you are, please post here. :) Also a note to Novices who are interested- please take advantage of the state of the current Requirements. If you wish to come for this trip, all you need to do is writ…

Are you Bored? Fed up? Does your Novice have a freeday? Think its about time your Novice got into trouble? Then perhaps this is for you! White Tower Novices Tirzah Behen and Sial Daemoa will be rounding up Novices and Trainees for a good old fashioned game of Dares. Said game will be Tower-wide, suitably ridiculous and may or may not result in punishment ;D We have permission for starting trouble but we need to know a rough idea of numbers. If you are interested in RPing your Novice in this or want to have a better idea of what it might involve, please post here now. That is all ;D

Braxton was mad. Real mad. Really mad, actually because real mad sounds very hillbilly and though he may have been from the country, it was flat, even depressed and most certainly not a hill. Also, he had all his teeth. They were straight. We’re getting off the subject. Braxton was mad, and he was doing something about it. Pushups. More or less. He was trying to do them, and that is what counts. Trying, you know? Parents lie to their children with that rubbish all the time but we know better, don’t we: it doesn’t matter how much you try, you’re a loser until you’re a winner and at no time before or between can you clap yourself on the back and say, ‘good job.’ …

Due to some timeline difficulties and the earlier forced aging I need to do some readjusting. Basically, I need to make Shaneevae 76 during the main time line. Now, the problem is why on Earth would a 76 year old be made HoA. Well, after much discussion with James we came up with this idea. Shaneevae is on the Council at such a young age due to being maybe a token youth? Maybe someone decides that fresh ideas are needed. Well, when Raeyn decides to go into retirement the council begins discussing their choices for HoA. None of them want it stating they're too busy. Going something like this: "I've other matters to attend to." "But you're the logical c…

It never ceased to amuse him to visit Amador. Here, in the seat of the Children of Light’s power, he rode without a care in the world. In all honesty, Amadicia was one of the more corrupt nations of the world, at least in his view. One just had to know what to look for to see it. He rode along the main road through the marketplace of Amadicia’s capital city with a relaxed air. There were certainly plenty of things to see, not the least of which was a young soldier dressed in the white cloak and uniform of a new member of the Whitecloaks. Of course they didn’t like being called that, but in his mind that was one of the gentler phrases he used for them. She was …

No tea so far today, not one cup. He was too excited. Drak’s training was complete, or at least the specific instruction that Bobby was able to give him. Now all Drak required was time to hone his skills and gain experience. Training about The Pauper was not a fair simulation of the real thing and Bobby was intentionally keeping his recruits away from danger until they were ready. Drak was. Not only was Drak excited for his student, who had done everything asked of him and more, but that he himself could now get his hands dirty. He intended to spar Drak himself. There were things you could learn about your opponent in combat that you never would by sitting on the si…

  9. Drak sat comfortably with his back against the wall of the tall oak tree, his legs crossed in front of him as he waited for the new Soldier to arrive. The oak tree was an easy to find landmark, and it was one of Drak’s favorite places to think, which made it a very suitable meeting place for what he had planned this morning. Sereth Arian, as he had been informed his trainee’s name was, appeared a few minutes before time. A point in his favor. But is it because of nerves, ambition, or what? Drak thought to himself as the young man came closer. All will be revealed, he said to himself, humorously intoning the words like some old mystic. The man’s approach gave Drak ple…

((OOC: Hmm, looks like I messed up in my other intro thread, but I'll edit that as necessary to include anything from this.)) Vincent walked across the bridge to Tar Valon, a smile splitting his face. His once fine cloak was tarnished and tattered in places, he had run into a few issues along the way. He'd even managed to have his horse stolen, but here that would all change. Here he'd learn to wield the blades at his hip, and he'd learn how to defend those he'd spent years idolizing. Aes Sedai. He walked down a main road of the city, its architecture stunning him. You were wrong father, there is a city more impressive than Camelyn. If only by a little... Warde…

If there was one advantage of having been a Novice for the past month, it was that the early hours that was part of the Trainee package, was something that she was already used to. She got out of her bed-which in her opinion, was far more comfortable than her other one-to find that Alwyn's was already empty, while Ashley was still curled up in his. If Tirzah had to take a wild guess, her second roomie was probably dreaming of serenading some Aes Sedai or the other and had successfully climbed up the vines and past the garden wall. For a moment or two she was tempted to wake up with a nice 'sprinkling' of water, but she decided against it. After all, yesterday's events had…

  13. She wanted to go home, home to the safety and sanctity of the Two Rivers. Even given the recent invasion of Shadowspawn to her home, it was still a beacon of safety in Shaneevae’s heart. The Aes Sedai hurt. Even in the Dream, she hurt. A Yellow sister had healed her admirably, but it wasn’t her physical body that hurt, it was her confidence. Her first stumbling into Tel’aran’rhiod had been a disaster. In fact, she was not sure she should be here now, but she was not sure how to prevent it from happening. Her ability to stay out of the Dreamworld was as underdeveloped as her ability to control the Dream. Deven’s Ride, quiet in the Dreamworld, a disconcerting shif…

The nightingale's complaint, it dies upon her heart......Shelley Studying the ter’angreal stretched out across the length of her desk, Shaneevae ran through the facts she already knew. A thick braid of leather composed the bulk of the belt. Ten strands intricately woven together and at each end the threads unraveled each ending in a metallic arrow. The composition of the arrows was unknown to her or anyone else of this Age, but she assumed that every two of them represented or enacted one of the five elements of the One Power. It’s exterior plainly a belt to hang low on the hips. It never drew much attention and no one would ever mistake it for a Power wroug…

  16. Liitha was waiting outside the stables, as her mentee came about she nodded in greeting and mounted. She barely waited till he was in the sadles before directing her stallion towards the exit of the yard, they both knew what was happening, and there was no need to break the early morning quietness with chat. Six months back in the yards she had figured he was ready for a trip outside Tar Valon, for some camping experiences. It wasnt untill they left the busy streets behind and rode over one of the bridges that she turned to face her mentee. "Ready?" she smiled to Kopair, they had spent the months since his return practising and undusting unused skills from his absen…

Hey guys! It's been an incredibly long time since I've had time to RP and was wondering if my trainee (whose name may be misspelled on the new site) is still active. Or if wandering away after such a long time is grounds for having to create a new character? And do the Trainees still have teams or some such? Thats the last real thing that I remember before dissapearing offline, Lyv (when she was the MoT) had implimented a trainee team thing? ring bells?

Was it really necessary for them to go down South by boat? Daenerys watched at changing scenary as passed arround them and was left behind. So many good opportunities lost. Had they went on foot, she would have had the chance for some small pranks. Being ants in the sleeping back, or some berries with certain effects on the human digestive system or in case inspiration left her - the good old poison ivy. But no, they had to take a ship and now Daenerys had no choice but to watch how opportunities went and she did not had the chance to take advantage. And on top of all, the Aes Sedai, Dany never bother to remember her name since the woman insisted on Dany addressing her by…

  22. Megain tiptoed down the dark corridor, tiny ball of light hovering above one hand, trying to concentrate on both keeping absolutely silent and maintaining the flickering ball of light. It's so difficult to do anything with Fire... She finally reached the abandoned Aes Sedai rooms where the so-called 'party' was to take place. One door had a crack of golden light underneath, and Megain cautiously tiptoed up to it and pushed it open. The Accepted who had informed her of the party was already there, as were a few other novices. The Accepted ran up to her and pulled her inside. "Keep the door shut!" she hissed. "You can see the light all the way down the corrid…

Mr. Sweeper was awake before Captain Redpath. No. This was a lie. The only way anyone aboard The Merry Pauper could do that was to exploit a little trick called ‘not going to bed’. Mr. Sweeper had done so on this particular day, spending hours planning his next assignment for his students. He was very proud of this lesson and excited to see how it would turn out. There was going to be pain, sure, but if he could get a spot of blood then he would really feel as though he’d achieved something. When the sun rose above the horizon, and his charges (after taking their daily dip in the frozen ocean, which we cannot forget) filed onto the deck dripping water and shivering…
