"Once you saved my life, and humored my 'toh. A life for a life, Ghaul." She shook her head. "A life for a life, my debt to you repaid. You do not owe me anything." It was the day when reality seemed to drift into the real of fairy tales. That was what some called it. And they were not far off. Talbitha and Ghaul were among those that went to the water supply only to see it turn to blood before their eyes. And then those creatures came out - human in shape, they looked like they were made of blood. Their touch was like acid, burning fabric, wood, metal and flesh alike and their touch was poison too. They fought there, back to back, each looking out for the ot…

In light of a few recent changes that have yet to be published publically I have had the need to revise the Warder Advancement System. There is a reason for this change but there are certain negotiations still under way that may affect the reason behind it. However, I think it's time for a change and the advantages of the system out weight the only consequence of this change. So in Summary: Advantages for new system: 1. You are raised to full RP status quicker 2. Second and third characters start at full status 3. Trainees get more choice in their requirements Disadvantages for new system: 1. *To be posted at a later date after negotiations* …

There was a bounce in Sereth's step as he approached the partially walled town. His intelligent eyes scanning the buildings, people, especially those in black coats, and everything else. At first glance, it was impressive, but the young philosopher looked deeper. The men in black coats all seemed to have a scowl, where they like this originally, or did the training change them? He knew from his travels that a black silk coat meant Asha'mon, a legendary status to this hopeful. His eyes continued to scan, noticing pins of swords, and 'dragons' on the collars of many black coats. He guessed that this was some kind of rank, but that was all he could gather with a glance…

This is a topic that I brought up in the Hall and am now moving to the Hall boards for all Ajah Heads to take a look at. :) We have Ata asking to step down as Black Ajah Head, and I have Christine who is very inactive despite a few messages and having RP Idea's going back and forth on the Yellow boards with no movement. Now, I know that some of you are in your position because there is no one else. (It's how I got HoA as well.:P :)) But despite having that 'lack of an option' I'd like to make being HoA a little better for those that have the position as well as in attempts to fill these positions so that way we have a fuller Hall and Division. It was my t…

Alrighty... so we're working on updating N&A reqs and we need some help from each Ajah. One of the requirements for an Accepted will be to do an "Ajah Approved RP". What does this mean? Well.. you know your Ajah best so we want to know what you think it could mean. We're looking for something that is general enough that each person can run with it a bit and show their own character, but that really speaks about what your Ajah represents. It could be something like, a fieldtrip with a Green Sister to the Blight, to learning strategy, to anything that you feel the Green Ajah stands for and what an Accepted needs to know before she chooses it. So come on Gre…

I am writing my Blue/Black Sisters Bio and i'm coming up to where she is an Aes Sedai. I am making her 170+ in her age range, which is a nice medium, but I have no idea who she may have been around or talked with, or been close to in the Blue (or any other) Ajah. Also as to who would be in her Heart. Anyone interested in sharing a little of thier history with a average aged Andorian Blue/Black Aes Sedai? She smiles and is of a surprisingly friendly and calm demeanor. She has never risen her voice beyond, and likes to be efficiant as possible. She does not find untidiness irksome, nor denies the need for chaos when needed. She will say what she wants when she wants an…

Running in the hall violated the rules, to be sure. However, some things were definitely worth getting into trouble for. Scarcely tarrying to curtsey to the Mistress of Novices after her dismissal, Saline bounded up the steps three at a time. Harder work than it sounded too, for it had been way easier to tumble down these narrow stairs than zoom up. Though her footfalls treaded heavier onto the marble grooves, her heart felt light and her cheeks suffused with a flame not evident that morning, even though she did her stretches in the chippy frost that blanketed the Yards. In the dark, big startled eyes of the cleaning lady peered from the tapestries and recognised the glow…

I started this on another site and it has hit 20 pages. So I decided to bring it here on a twist! It must be about your Characters (of any division). How it works: ^ A fact you know of the person above you. (Or in this case, one of their characters) < Answer to the Person above you's question. (Is you's even a word? I don't know at 6 am.. ) V Ask a Question! Anything goes. :D For Example: ^ No one above me but me, so all my Aes Sedai's are blind to one thing or another (be it physical or mental) < No question, But what I mean is that Maegan is physically blind, but also blind to seeing love or affection in return to …

  14. Emelia awoke. With bleary eyes she wriggled out from her travel cloak, yawned loudly, and blinked rapidly. The sun was in her eyes and she couldn’t see. She momentarily considered the idea of trying to burn the sun but she was too tired; maybe later. Her clothes were a mess; she discarded them. There was no one left alive to see her unclothed body, and if she encountered anyone, they wouldn’t be alive for long. She would find new clothing. Yes. She clambered out from the cocoon she built herself sometime the previous evening. It looked just like her, only bigger, and a different colour. There were other such statues and a very beautiful throne. After all, she did c…

A colourful pirate was maybe the kindest way to describe his appearance. Today he wore modestly tight brown leather pants, black over the knee boots, a bright azure billowy sleeved shirt with a purple vest and crimson sash tied aroud his waist. Under the scarf he had tucked two curved knives and a short sword rested in its sheath on his left hip. Blood and bloody ashes, being a noble wasn't at all fun anymore in Sahra's opinion. The charm had started to fade quickly under the watchful eye of the two Aes Sedai who demanded that she controlled her behaviour all the time. She was supposed to act and speak all collected and not express much emotions or anything. Light, the noble men and women were so boring that sometimes it wasn't hard to be calm as she was at the verge of dozing off. They spoke of frivolous topics like clothes, dances, hawking and who had done what and she didn't know half the people they nattered about. Likely they considered her as boring as she didn't have much to contribute to their 'discussions…

It had been a wonderful evening full of laughter, stories and banter but Sahra had been able to participate only with half attention. The other half had been spinning delicious images of the naughty things she and Sana would be doing that night. And just been so bloody aware of him and how he moderated his drinking. Soon. The others were getting somewhat wasted already so she could get herself a real drink too. It might ease her nerves a bit. When she declared her intention, she got demands to bring them all drinks, as if she still was the little bar wench she had been before becoming a Trainee. Glowering at them with mostly feigned annoyance, she stormed off to the …

It was another fine afternoon in the grand city of Tar Valon, with the sun ever blazing down onto the dusty streets. An all-wooden Tavern by the name of “The Queens Crown” held a large crowd on outside tables; it was a favoured spot for gamblers of the noble folk. Malic did well at playing dice today, which the other four men around the table were apparently becoming very irritated with. He already spent all morning winning, and lost only two betting rounds, which sent three peeved men storming off dead broke. His luck was in just recently, being that he needed to build up a bit more cash for the long road ahead, this streak was timed nicely. He received a letter fro…

Many Many years ago... Sydney could hear the clamor of shocked and fearful voices echoing down the halls even from inside the thick oak doors which stood nearly two spans above her head. The Tower Library, with its vast halls of books big enough to house a small village, seemed a ghost town with the events that were going on now. No one would be here, maybe not for a day or two… all things considered. Clenching her teeth together once more, trying not to sick up at the thought of what they were doing right now to her Sister at this very moment, she raced down the paths shown to her long ago… her blood red shawl adored with thorny rose vines flaring out behind her…

At least when she felt shunned by the Tower Suu knew where she stood amongst her sisters and those of thee other Shawls. Adjusting the White Shawl on her shoulders, Suu walked her way through the halls of the White Tower as she familiarized herself with a world that she had once ran away from at what seems a life time ago. Although the walls never changed around her, the faces did. Sure, each novice and accepted wore the usual white or banded dresses and ran to and from their various tasks, but they still 'felt…

It was a good two hours yet before noon and the presence of a certain blonde, yawning head was a shock to the stablehands who tended to the senior officers’ stable. It was highly unusual that Carnhain would be up before noon, let alone hanging around the stables at this “early” hour. He was up in the saddle, jogging Fire around the perimeter of the paddock, though his eyes were focused on the pasture across the fence; a filly, about three years old, had his attention. Carnhain had inherited his “Uncle Rowul’s” possessions when the pompous Captain had died during the Band’s stay in Illian. That included Rowul’s mean-tempered Stallion Iron Heart and the small breedi…

Actually, that was a lie, it was more than just a small part of Fakhir that wanted to put this man on the ground. Lieutenant Morrow wasn't the most impressive man he'd ever met, indeed he was a spindly fellow who was dressed entirely too well. The sort of fellow that needed a good kick in the teeth with the airs he was putting on, but that wasn't going to be conducive to Fakhir getting paid so he put aside the urge as best he could as he mouthed the words. Silver was not his favourite colour. Especially not when it was wrought by the One Power. Stepping through one of those Dragon taken gates that the Asha'man made was not his idea of a smart idea, indeed, Fakhir Aswasim felt slightly tainted by the whole experience. Not that it would last long, there were plenty of things that were worse that he'd done and seen than walk through some strange portal of the power that could transport one many leagues at once, but it was discomforting nonetheless. Others seemed to take it far better, others had required coaxing to go through the portal, but Fakhir wasn't particularly troubled by the thought of them. No, what had …
