Alrighty... so we're working on updating N&A reqs and we need some help from each Ajah. One of the requirements for an Accepted will be to do an "Ajah Approved RP". What does this mean? Well.. you know your Ajah best so we want to know what you think it could mean. We're looking for something that is general enough that each person can run with it a bit and show their own character, but that really speaks about what your Ajah represents. It could be something like, a fieldtrip with a Brown Sister to visit one of the other great libraries of the world, to be there to witness something that only they can witness and write down, to anything that you feel the Brown A…

If an outsider looked upon the two women riding at even pace toward the village named the Black Tower, they wouldn't have been able to read any signs of agitation or nervousness from the demeanour of the Aes Sedai and the Tower Guard holding upright the peace flag. The Gray Sister had thrown behind her hood to reveal a smooth ageless face and underneath the practiced facade her stomach was on knots like every time before an important negotiation and even more so now because of who would sit behind the other side of the table. Annais tried to remember everything Estel had told her of her observations and go through once again her instructions and the background infor…

Darin woke from his slumber with dew still clinging to his coat, which he had used as a blanket for the night. The spring was generally warm in Amadicia, but the mornings and nights were always cold this far to the north of his home country. As he stood he cast his eyes about his makeshift camp. He had made a small cook fire last night to roast a rabbit he’d caught in his traps. It was the best thing he’d eaten in weeks. He had never gone hungry as a Child of the Light. Darin shuddered at thinking of his career as an Anointed of the Light as a thing of the past, the Children swore their oaths for life, but Light, how could he remain without being handed over to the Questi…

Ladies and Gentlemen, I have the great pleasure to announce DM's very first A.L.I.N Awards. In this show the stars are not little green men from the outer space but our characters. There are many different ways how one can shine and this year's categories are as follows. 1) Loftiest Light Lover (Character & RP portraying how goodie two shoes they are) 2) The Darkest Deeds (Character & RP showing their efilness) 3) Sweetest/Hottest Romance (A couple and RP drawing spontaneous aww or mmm) 4) Dramatic Drama (RP that makes your heart go out for the characters... or kinda want to slap them all) 5) Bench-gripping Action (RP where both …

Bryon stepped out onto the grounds they had set asside for this tourney. It would be see who can last the longest in a double elimination series. So far there were six participants but Bryon was hoping for more. He was going to referee the tourney and make sure everyone played fairly. The first pairing would be Cairma and Rosheen - two of the best female guards starting off in the tourney, this was going to be difficult to stay in if this was how it was going to start off. OOC: Sign up thread is: http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,21326.0.html - You are free to sign up at anytime. If you've already been through the double elimination, you will…

It has been a while since we did one of these how are you doing threads, so it is about time :) I still feel like I am not back to my normal routine as tomorrow I leave at noon to celebrate New Year with friends. I can't remember when I have last seen my family as much as during the holidays even though we live in the same city. Luckily the exposure has come in tolerable doses so everything has gone really well ;) I obviously was a pretty good girl this year since I got fairly much pressies. Mostly money, girly beauty stuff, books and some home decorations. My favourite gifts would be the handbag my husband gave me or the pretty shoes that I bought with my X-mas…

I have a lesser darkfriend pirate named Gaston Waldgrave, currently he's been languishing in an the dungeons of Tear for the last two years. He needs rescue! Anyone in that area, or willing to come to that area to help a shadowsworn out? I guess I could free myself... but it would be fun to have some company. Interest? No-Interest? Interest if I edited the concept of the RP?

Dear all, My apologies for delaying this decision for so long, I have decided to step down as Ajah Head for the Gray Ajah. Please consider Phaedra an ancient AS who you can talk to as NPC, who stepped down because of a problem that I have yet to come up with. Perhaps, she was wrong in actions that lead to a big crisis between two nations and felt that she had to resign as Sitter and Ajah Head. Perhaps she was just an old bitty who wanted to give a new fresh face a chance. I have big problems mustering up writing skill and think up stories to write about. Again, my apologies for this. I am not leaving Dragonmount completely, just don't want you to wait around for m…

I am writing my Blue Sisters Bio and i'm coming up to where she is an Aes Sedai. I am making her 170+ in her age range, which is a nice medium, but I have no idea who she may have been around or talked with, or been close to in the Blue Ajah. Anyone interested in sharing a little of thier history with a average aged Andorian Blue Aes Sedai? She smiles and is of a surprisingly friendly and calm demeanor. She has never risen her voice beyond, and likes to be efficiant as possible. She does not find untidiness irksome, nor denies the need for chaos when needed. She will say what she wants when she wants and when she knows she will be heard. And, she will be an absolute …

Years of work had finally paid off and Sahra Covenry was a Tower Guard. She so deserved a frothy pint of beer. The time of ceremonies was over so she headed to the small group of people who had been waiting for her to pay her respects to the Tower Guards of ye olde days. Conor was the first one to catch her and she was surprised when instead of simple congratulatory hug he also kissed her. She returned the embrace and smiled under his lips but didn't yield hers. When they pulled apart, she eyed him fondly and grinned teasingly. "Don't pretend, Connie. We both know that I am not your type. I don't say baa, baa and I am not quite wool-headed enough." It pulled some sni…

Ashara asked me to let you to know that her net is messed up since some major cable got cut. She doesn't have any access to DM or any site or anything other than skype. The problem will hopefully get fixed before next week's over (by 6th of Jan), so lets all keep our fingers crossed for her.

The shining walls of Tar Valon were magnificent, breath-taking, awe-inspiring—rotten and corrupt. Talon observed them as he again walked through the streets of one the great city, openly and without fear. Tar Valon was the audience chamber of the ‘light’, the White Tower its throne: two symbols of the endless disease aes sedai represent. They were meddlesome and manipulative in ways he might only dream of doing. He admired them in a way: they would commit the ultimate sins to preserve what they believed in and so would he. Only the veneer of righteousness and truth displeased him. Why hide? He knew the Jester was here, through the dream he had observed that much. Whe…

((OOC: And after no ado and much delay.. the TG Oaths :P) Midday. They had told him it would come now, but even then he hadn’t known what to expect. The glade was one he had never visited before, though he had a tendency towards visiting areas like this. There were certainly places you left alone though, and with the tree covered skyline and few shafts of light coming through, there was a formality and solemnest that would most likely have kept him at bay if he had come across if by accident. Others were there as well as he approached the stone slab. The Commander stood before him and Ursana took a deep breath as the ceremony began. Kneeling, he looked…

Well guys I wanted to let you know why you haven't seen me around as much as why I am not right on top of rps right now. I have been pretty sick, and exhausted to the point where getting on my computer was the last thing on my mind. So I found out why and that is because I am having a baby. *winks* Apparently the baby is doing wonky stuff to my thyroid problem, so I am hoping it's all fixed. We are due around the end of June and very excited about it, so I wanted to let you all know and please forgive me if I fall behind I am trying as much as I can right now. :D

I have bad news. All the siggies I had been working on, including the images I was using for them, are now gone. If you wish for me to modify the siggies that you now use, I can not unless you have the original psd. file (which i no longer have).. *bows* I'm terribly sorry.

The Mistress of Novices led Rasheta deep into the lower regions of the Tower. She did not have any questions and Rasheta sincerely hoped she knew enough of the rules so she would know what would happen here. She wasn’t too much afraid of her test; she simply wanted to get things over with. She wanted to be Aes Sedai and get back to see her Mother, and her Aunt. Where arch touches ring, an Aes Sedai sat on the floor, concentrating on the silvery construction. A fourth Aes Sedai stands beside a table on which sits three silvery chalices filled with clear water. All four Aes Sedai and the Mistress of Novices wear their shawls. The Mistress of Novices told her. “Two thing…

There were too many people who resided in the Trainee barracks, who had recently sniffed at her in an all too hypocritical manner and informed her that her chosen verbiage was 'crude'. And she said hypocritical because she believed she'd judged them well enough to tell just the extent of their vocabulary, thank you very much Mr. and Mrs. Prim. Admittedly, there was a point-alright, most points-in Tirzah's life that would have had this little tidbit of information passed from one ear to the other and out, but they'd caught her on a bad day. See, training was being a bit of a bother. It wasn't so easy anymore, not half as easy as she'd imagined it to be, even though Ma…

Melianna lay fast asleep in her bed. She had scrubbed so many pots today, she thought her hands would never un-wrinkle. A firm knock came from the door, a knock that she was only partly aware of. The knock came again. “Yes, Laras, all the pots are clean.” She mumbled as she rolled over to face the wall. The knock came once again, followed by a firm voice. “Melianna! Open the door.” That woke her up very fast. It was not Laras. It sounded like Darienna. She quickly threw the sheets off and ran to the door in her shift. She opened the door an attempted a curtsey, but in a shift, it was difficult to do right. “It is time, child.” She said calmly, ignoring the sh…

Well, doesn't that just fit my day? The petite blonde pulled herself up off the curb and attempted to dust herself off to the sound of a concerned voice nearby. This was the third item in a list of small unceremonious events that had occured since the boat had docked in the port of Tar Valon. Sure, she had been quite taken with the sight of the great White Towers and the bustling city that was so much more full that she could have dreamed it might be... but that didn't stop her from sicking up the moment she stepped off the boat. Happily, she noted to herself, she didn't get any on her best feast day dress which she'd changed into upon the first sight of the…

When you were young staying up was the most wonderful thing that could happen. Everybody around you insisted that you were in want of sleep, but you never felt like sleeping, not really. Something about a child's timeclock must've wacked out on some crazy spree, for it kept ticking 'til it met an obstacle, and crrrash, there you drop to nap 'til you're all life and soul again. Around the wagons there were always music to be had, talk to rekindle, and laughter ringing over the crackle of their fires. A cook didn't sell her bacon, mother had once told him, she sold her sizzle. There must be a grain of truth behind that saying, for the pots of successful culinary legends usu…

Hello to the Warders Div! Are you currently RPing a Trainee with a talent for causing trouble? If so, read on! White Tower Novices Tirzah Behen and Sial Daemoa will be rounding up Novices and Trainees for a good old fashioned game of Dares. Said game will take place in the halls and grounds of the White Tower and will involve typically childish dares such as crossdressing, pranks and tests of nerve. We have permission for starting trouble but we need to know a rough idea of numbers. If you are interested in RPing your Trainee in this or want to have a better idea of what it might involve, please post here now or message either me or ashara. Thankyou! ;D

Looking up at the sky, Lillian found her thoughts straying over the past week. More requests over tasks that needed doing, research conducted so she could carry out said tasks with some idea of what was ahead, more arguments and debates amongst her fellow White Sisters. Whenever she was present in the Tower, there were a number of sisters amongst her Ajah that would consistently challenge her over her interpretation of the Ajah and the manner in which she represented it, since there was no way for her to be ordered to behave in a manner that was 'deemed appropriate' except for the First Reasoner, and she would not do so because Lillian's view could not be completely und…

Stroking her steed's neck, Lillian quietened her mare as best she could as she surveyed the ruin before her. Once a great manor home, its once charred remains were now overrun by nature. Such dismal places were not usually a place that Lillian chose to visit, but on this occasion she had business to attend to. An unexpected business as far as she was concerned, but when the matter had arisen she had decided to pursue it. The ruin before her had once been the ancestral home of the Faury, an Andoran family that had been thought extinguished. After they had been wiped out, the land had been feuded over until the Trakand successfully occupied it and drove their compe…

Tigara was lost. He was only an hour walking into the Blight and he had already lost all sense of direction. The day was hot, and his water was almost gone. That and the fact that you never know what's out here, that made this the hardest part of the trip. He topped the next hill and saw seven Towers peering down, with a hundred or more lakes at the bottom. "Water!" he exclaimed as he ran down the hill to the lakes. He reached the lakes and was just about to grab some up in his hands, when something very large and scaly came roaring out of the lake. It was a dark green with several heads willed with pale yeelow razorblades in its mouth. Tigara was sure he would…

Rory Sedai. Fantastic. She didn’t feel very Aes Sedai though, nor Accepted, nor Novice. No, she was the same Rory she had always been with a few minor lessons learnt along the way. Something grander was supposed to have happened, she was sure, some kind of inner transformation upon ascending to the level of full sister that would . . . do something. Instead, Rory Sedai went along as she always had, only now no one told her what to do except for Rory Sedai, which was nice. Oh, and Darienna, but then, some things never changed. All by herself she decided to pursue training in the combative arts and all by herself she had done so. Not quite all by herself she chose Ara…

Two satchels lay out upon the huge ebony carved bed while three lay stuffed full by the door. The three at the door held all of the items she would need from her laboratory while the ones on the bed would hold personal items and any other manuals needed from the office in her quarters. If she weren’t careful she’d need an extra packhorse to carry it all. Shaneevae never traveled lightly when heading for the Blight. She’d tried that during her first few trips and had always regretted it. To complete her work it was practically a requirement to set up a full laboratory for experiments and one just could not do that with fewer than three bags. The Brown Sister would t…
