((OOC: Forgive the pun. Couldn't resist. ;))) Three hard knocks rattled the door where Annais was staying. A smile worthy of an Ogier splitting Sereth's face. He was to receive what she had offered on their very first meeting today; lessons. Another subject for his mind to delve into and explore, another facet from which to view the world. He'd learn a portion of negotiating today, a subject that he needed. After all, a piece of the skill was when to talk, and when to keep your mouth shut. Oh, he knew he couldn't possibly master the subject in the time that Annias had to spare on him, but without a doubt it would push him in the right direction. Give him a star…

  2. Started by Eqwina,

Ashara’s post got the thinking. I love Eqwina, I am more attached to her than any of my characters. I think it is because she was the first RP character I ever wrote at DM. I would really like to get her back into the swing of things. IC she never had many friends, she avoided a lot of the other girls which can be laid at Nevin’s feet. When he left she was a shell of a woman and even though she was Aes Sedai she never acted like it, therefore as a sister she had not friends either. The fact that she felt outcast by her sisters was one of the reasons she went Black. During her time in the Black Ajah she had gained a little backbone *cough* and I would like for her to …

  3. Started by Viathan,

Waking up in his shared quarters in the trainee’s barracks he realized it was still about an half an hour before his mentor was scheduled to arrive. He lay on his back staring up at the ceiling, watching as the rays of sun slowly crept across the ceiling and touched the far wall. Getting up he realized the two beds in the room were empty: Early risers perhaps. He shrugged off his bed clothes and walked across the stone floor. It was a crisp morning to be sure. Though the sun was warming the room, the temperature was nothing on being in bed. He fought the temptation to get back in with better judgment. He watched the water pour hot from the pitcher into the large bowl…

I've started a new thread for all of the new soldiers who have joined us recently. If your bio has been approved, you're okay to join, even if you haven't posted an arrival RP yet. Just to get you started. :) And anyone else who needs this class too (if your mentor has been slacking or something) is also welcome to join us. It's gonna be a brutal training thing, but have fun with it. Get to know each other a little and get started with blowing things up! Sounds like a win-win situation to me! See you all there. I'll leave it open for a week or so before I continue, just to give everyone a chance to join.

Okay, Arie asked me to dig through my old stuff to find my red ajah class... I did find it but it definately needs a pick-me-up and so I'm re-writing it from the ground up. I have an outline of the lessons up on the website now, if you're feeling spunky and wanna rp this asap, let me know and I'll put a rush on getting it done. Otherwise expect it in days to come depending on my schedule. http://redajah.wordpress.com/red-ajah-class/ *hugs*

I'm giving Arie a hand updating stuff as I have the old website information and can simply cut and paste most of it in. However, a lot of you have information that will need to be updated or put in as I don't know you yet! Please surf over to our website at: http://redajah.wordpress.com/ Take a look around, read your bio and the ajah history and, heck, all of it. If you need something added... something updated ... whatever, just reply here and let us know. Arie or me will hop on it as time allows *OR* you can talk to Arie about getting registered with the site so you can help update too! *hugs*

This is a really short one, but I figured I might as well post it. :) I'm going to be out on a trip from Thursday the 20th-Sunday the 23rd, so I won't be able to access the net or post to any threads during that time. Just a heads up. :) -Vera/Tirzah/Nerome/Graendal

I have conn'ed her back into the folds of the Red. Please welcome the infamous Telcia aka Miya aka Dee. She is a secret to our Ajah, and her identity as well on DM until she chooses to reveal herself. :) She has not yet chosen an Ajah to aspire with her newest character, but even I'm crossing my fingers that we can pull her into a few very intruiging plots. I know i have to plot out my Truth Rod at some point.. :P *snuggles her former mentee* Welcome Home, Dee.

Just wanted to post here as I'm currently without a roomate (have one person I'm talking to but we're undecided yet) and I'm hoping to make some friends and rivals too! Obviously rivalries can change to friendships later but, if they don't it will be good for our rp as full Sisters. After all, may Sisters have conflicts and not all of them are along ajah lines. If you're a fairly active player and you're looking for someone who is like-wise, please consider replying here. I'd love to exchange information and talk about possible ideas. I'm also contemplating a little novice mischief circle of 3-5 novices who are notorious friends. It will take some working out bu…

  13. A deep breath escaped Annais as she exited the M'Hael's office. The first day of negotiations was done and it had gone alot better than she had ever dared to even dream. She and Brent had talked about a lot of things and established a good connection in her opinion. She hadn't expected to find herself getting along with the M'Hael. It didn't mean that the parlay would be any easier as he wasn't going to sell the Black Tower cheaply, just that they could chat amiably about things and actually speak straight forwardly instead of the diplomatical bullshit. She ought to thank Mia for that and she would tonight in their rooms. The lucky coincidence of her knowing the man and h…

  14. Started by Winter Mist,

~Darin~ High walls were a comfort; the last days of open country had made Darin wish for the stout walls of the Fortress of the Light. It had not been a strenuous mission he had undertaken, but somehow vague agoraphobia always beset him when he was away from the protective embrace of what was, in his eyes, the last bastion of the Light. The influence of the Dark had to be purged from their land. He turned his face away from the scrutiny of those around him; any eye could be an unfriendly eye, and he swept his gaze around, giving everyone a stare of equal disdain. Only if they wore the White could they be considered acceptable. A white-gloved hand reached up …

When you become a Gaidin, there are certain privileges that you are donned with. For one, the cloak. The marvellous ripple effect that it had, with its ability to shift colour to match the landscape was something that -which he had no doubt had amused his Aes Sedai greatly- had fascinated Nerome for lengths at a time when he first garbed himself within it. The second, far more important boon it had endowed him with was the little ball of emotions caught adrift inside his head, changing and flickering at their own accord. Rossa. When they had first Bonded, he had expected that it would take some getting used to. Somehow though, being able to sense where and how his Aes Sed…

  16. It was a usual peaceful late evening in the apartment of the Commander of the Harbour Guard. Con and Arette sat on the sofa and she rested her feet on his lap while she was doing needlework. The girls were asleep already, and they managed to pretend well enough that they really were alone in the house, despite the guests. Hera and Basileia were playing a game of stones by the dinner table. It seemed that Hera was loosing again to her annoyance. Arette had set them on the task, as the game developed thinking skills that were useful in Daes Dae'mar, and it galled the higher ranked young woman that her friend was more proficient in something like this. More valuable lessons …

The Glade of Remembrance. A place filled with beautiful coniferous trees that surrounded the a glade in which he stood. But Conor Palfery did not notice the tree's too much. In fact, he was to busy wiping the nervous sweat of his hands on is freshly cleaned and pressed breeches. If he was lucky, he would not loose his grip on any given sword and make a complete fool of himself as he had on countless occasions with Cairma. It was not his bloody fault the woman made him nervous. But as Mahiko pointed out, it was probably because she was the hardest to impress and the only one he wanted to impress. Aside from Sahra, of course. But Sahra had her sights set completely on Ursan…

  20. Kiri stretched as she sat up on the roof. This was such a beautiful summer day. Completely lazy, just the way she liked it. Running a hand through her hair she watched the citizens of Cairhien go about their daily routines. Sighing to herself, Kiri looked in the direction of the building she was aiming to burglarize that evening. It seemed pretty much unattended at the moment, but she was hoping that it would be completely unattended before long. To further pass the time, Kiri began to think to herself about the Aiel. These annoying, pretentious creatures come into Cairhien toting around their false Dragon like they own the place! It has to be a false Dragon. …

Mentors-mentee relationships were fascinatingly variant, and someday a Brown might probably look into the why and how of this. Some relationships got along as wonderfully as a house on fire, and others got along as dreadfully as a house on fire. Saline had learnt the hard way, thanks to Mina Daryl, whom she had loathed for the majority of a year or three, not to try and build houses for others when her own house was in shambles, but when the sun was shining she had learnt to make hay with the best of them, offering her services to other Mentors for when their houses were on fire. And every once in a while, over the years Saline had spent ever since she first volunteered t…

  23. The marvels of Tar Valon were not limited to its numerous ancient buildings, which were in their own rights spectacular. The marvels of Tar Valon could be found everywhere for the patient observer who looked. Every person possessed a mystery of life whether they knew it or not, some insight, some piece of everyday knowledge that may not be as common or well-known as they think. Insects, spiders, birds, fish, animals, every object, every natural substance—there were simply too many for one brain to comprehend it all, and luckily no one brain had to. Damion gently placed his bundle on the ground and sat beside it, using the tail of his travelling cloak to stop him get…

This was going to be another good day, Sahra just knew it when she emerged to the Yards from the Barracks. She now shared a room with Sana but uncommonly he had woke up earlier than she today. The explanation was her very first night shift. It had been quite boring and uneventful and she had been partnered with Master Quiet Guy. By the end of the shift even her chattering had been quieted by his monosyllable answers. But even that didn't matter. She was a Tower Guard and there was a shine to the job to her even though it had been just routine so far. And soon she would go to her first mission in the crimson cloak, a garment she hadn't been able to part herself from even w…

Hey my Yellow Sistas :P So, our beloved DL wants each Ajah to write an Ajah-wide RP. I think at the moment the only real members of our beloved Ajah are Christine, Eqwina, and myself... so really this is just something for the few of us to rp and have a little fun. Healing is our calling of course, so it seems the most obvious thing we could do would be to do something involving that. Maybe a day where we set up booths on the grounds somewhere and give 'refresher' classes to TG, Warders, Trainees, AS, Novices, and Accepted for basic healing (non-OP related). this would not only open us up to future Rps with other Ajahs, but with the WY as well. We could announce …

It wasn't everyday that he set off on a quest of such importance. Nor was he as lucky to have such a fine specimen to help him out. If she were willing of course. Not that he doubted it because he'd always had good luck with women, unless he was actually trying to court them.. that all seemed to go wrong, but in general he had a good time with women and they seemed to find him charming. He hoped today was one of those days. If not, he was going to be going home empty handed and with no more quest for the day. He liked the 'quest of the day'. Yesterday it had been to learn how to shuck corn without using his hands. Figured it was an exercise in skill, but it ha…

As Orrin ran through the woods following the tracks of the trollocs he thought he must have lost track of time, it seemed light enough out to be twilight with the sun just below the horizon preparing to fight back the darkness across the sky. But to Orrin it seemed that this must be a cursed night for he could still see the half moon high in the sky. But these thoughts were only passing things on the surface of the pond of his consciousness; Orrin’s deep thoughts were of cleansing the night of wrongness, of vengeance. There were also images that kept coming into his mind unsummoned, images of the trollocs he pursued as if he was imagining what they were doing at that exa…

Go, and wake. A spiralling rush as if spinning through time landed her harshly in bed. Eyes flying open, she sucked in a great gasp of air and would have cried out with the pain that gripped her chest if she’d had strength to do so. Thankful to be alive. Thankful to be in her bed and away from the horror from whence she came. Shaneevae tried fruitlessly to move, her arm useless at her side and her body throbbing in excruciating pain. How would she ever call out for help? Her breathing was shallower than a plate. Making a sound that would travel through the thick walls of her quarters was beyond her ability even if she could grasp Saidar right now. Through a b…

Aiden had told Kate everything Demus had told him. She was afraid to talk to anyone about her knew world, she was sure they would all say no, tell her she could not. But she wanted to do what her mother did. Kate didn't know for sure, but she was pretty sure she killed people for a living. All the weapons she knew how to use, and the poisons she knew how to make. Surely they all had a purpose. And her mother was strange enough to like doing it too. Kate smiled softly to herself.
