Okay, here are the rules: Players will have 48 hours to cast their votes for who they think are the Dragonsworn. If a vote isn't achieved before then, the game automatically reverts to night. All rolled people (every possible role other than Darkfriend and Lightfool) will then PM me their night actions. Game goes until one side or the other wins. To keep the game going, if somebody does not post within the 48-hour time limit, they will be mod-killed. Role reveals are allowed if you really want to, but you may not post any quotes from any PMs you receive from the Mod. There will be no PMing of game-type information between players (except for Dragonsworn). …

I just tried to email to warders.mot [at] gaidin.org and got a Failure Delivery. I suppose that it has to do with the fact that the domain does not anymore. It would be nice to know what the new email address is as the website still lists the old email address for Trainee requirements. And while you are at it, please get Sahra raised :P I have been waiting for 8 days now and I am starting to get a tad impatient.

After looking over the boards, I would like to know how everyone feels about how they are laid out and how they function. Also, It occurred to me that it may be beneficial to combine the Ajah Boards to help bring more of our lovely RP Plotters together. This way we are not spread 2-3 to an ajah, but 15+ to a Tower. How would everyone feel about this? Any other Suggestions? Comments? Complaints?

  6. There were only so many different ways you could braid your hair and Sahra had tried them all already. She had to finally admit that she was just stalling leaving her room and facing Sana. It was cowardly and she despised cowards. Reaching for her crutches, she forced herself to stand and winced at the pain that lanced through her broken right ankle. Even the splint didn't keep the foot entirely steady and she tried to keep most of her weight off that side as she made her way cumbersomely to Sana's door. She half hoped that he was downstairs already as he couldn't make such a scene publicly but her luck failed her today. Sana opened the door and he didn't look at all…

It was Annais' third day in the Black Tower and as the previous days had passed without an incident, she felt a bit more certain of moving about in the grounds. Sereth hadn't been there to guide her in the morning so she had snatched up another young Soldier. The man was as close mouthed as a mussel and the only thing she had gotten out of him was a name, Javis. She had soon given up attempts to communicate with him and accepted the state of silence. Mia was watching their surroundings with the relaxed wariness of an experienced soldier so Annais didn't want to clutter her with chatter. The small party headed toward the Training Grounds in silence as Annais wished to obse…

You will not be able to see results until 2 weeks is up. Be honest. The results of this poll may or may not make any changes to the current system, but I want to see how these polls come out in two weeks. So get all your warder friends here and send in their votes. Mat

  11. Started by Arnaron,

Sorna stood at the bottom the staircase and looked up. The stairs seemed to go on forever. She opened her mouth to ask the Aes Sedai how far up they had to go but the sister was already trudging up the stairs. Deciding that getting lost on the way to the Mistress of the Novices was not the best impression, Sorna hurried up the stairs to rejoin the woman who didn’t even seem to notice that her charge had fallen behind. Concentrating, at first, on putting one foot in front of the other, her thoughts drifted idly to her brother. Had he made it to the Warders’ Yard yet? Were they making him do something that his body naturally rejected, too? Maybe they were making him …

  12. Tai'Dashan sighed as he attached the sword pin to his collar. Not that he was sighing over the rank, he was tickled pink over that. It was the task that had come with that rank. He brushed his hair and smoothed the black velvet uniform. Most would find velvet unbearably hot now a days but ignoring the heat was easy and he liked the look. looking at himself in the mirror he heaved one last sigh and turned to go. Arath had sat down with Tai' for a long conversation the other night at the Inn. Apparently he was ready to be raised to Dedicated but on one condition. He must become mentor to the man claiming to be his brother. Today was to be his first day training the man in t…

I have been in the mood to start a new bio, and the Seanchan had always interested me. I was told that the Seanchan had been swallowed by the Freelanders. Is there anyone around? I am up for any kind of Seanchan bio as was curious as to what was needed? ???

With NaNo i'm not going to worry too much with Reports, but since i'm not taking the usual time to read 'every' thread, I need to know what's going on with various players and characters within and out of the Tower. Yes, this includes the Lovely Amyrlin and Keeper. (I should keep better track of what you're doing, but i sometimes forget. XD) Thusly, This months reports are due bu NoV 25. And I want it based on active players/characters and I want to know who is in active, and what you plan to do to fix this. :) <3 Thank You! Andrea WT DL

Shaneevae will be holding a Shadowspawn class shortly. Given that her expertise lies in trollocs, having dissected them, campaigning in the Blight extensively and her sick, twisted fascination with the work of Aignor….I thought it was time for her to share that knowledge. Matalina and Eqwina have approved this RP and have graciously allowed that the completion of this class to count as an elective for progression purposes. Tower Guards and/or Warders are welcome as well and I’ll be happy to extend the RP if it will benefit any of your advancement reqs. I’d also freely welcome any TG or Warders that have extensive experience with Shadowspawn to be guest speakers. …

Hello all! Well I've been working to try and get several of our databases updated with information that hadn't been getting added like it should have been. Mostly I've been concentrating on getting bios, OP scores, and WS scores added to the Freelanders site, in as much as I have the information for them. I've done as much as I can do now without some help, and this is where you all come in. First of all, I need everyone to please check the Bios section. First, make sure all your characters are there. :) And then for those who don't have the name of who is playing them, please let me know so I can add that info. Second, for all those with characters that …

Zouwie Dean took her place in the carriage of Aes Sedai. The woman was nice and polite and there was no need for more from her to win Zouwie’s sympathy. And it was very good as it was such a long way to the White Tower and something more - a different life. It was a very strange feeling – everything happened so fast and probably for very long time. She was going to study somewhere she wanted and was very happy but she left her lovely people – her family and all her mates from school. She couldn’t understand – Zouwie had strong hopes to soon return home. Time passed day by day on the road and gave the girl clearer notion about her hopes. The understanding came with the lon…

Aslan looked at the pin fastened to the coat on the ground, his mind wandering back a couple hours. He sat alone in the forest outside the Black Tower, he had retired to be for himself and meditate. Asha'man, no one would keep as strict an eye on him now as when he was an initiate, granted he did have Jakar more under control, in fact it had been two months since their last struggle that the other had won. So what now, when he had come here he had eluded himself to think he had chosen to stay, he knew it was an illusion, he wouldn't been allowed to leave. He was now part of this place but as an intiate he had been restricted to stay here. His small room in the barra…

  21. Dawn, and their first steps onto the stony paves. Sunlight scattered and shined, transforming faded outlines into startling architectures. Bridges leaped and arched, catwalks of previously unfathomable size now appearing into sight. Towers flanked with the standout Flame rose from roofs, each higher than the one before, which made her wonder with amusement about just what sort of people the residents of Tar Valon were. There was nothing simple in this place, not amongst the curvy swirls of the legend worthy sculptures, nor was it in the sparkle of the chime of every bell of every door, as the city burst into life. Here, there was only pride. And I cannot help but like it.…

With all that had been going on the last few weeks it was any wonder that Kalush was in a fine mood again. For some reason every thing that could have gone wrong had, first she learned that her Mentor was not her mentor any more and that she had to tell her new one what she was currently suppose to be doing. That did not go over well with her because it was hard to explain to Daemon the why and how of her task. After that she tried to talk to Aran again with no success because the man was never alone or dressed. It seems her request was ignored and that was enough to set her temper boiling again even after her beating from Daemon the day before. After that some jerk…

Are there some kind of expressions or words that irk you? Do you avoid some kind of expressions? I can be a bit anal retentive about proper spelling and mispelling of two particular WoT related words always annoys me :P Mainly because it is so very common. The words are Caemlyn instead of Camelyn and Amyrlin instead of Amrylin. Also I try to stick to historical expressions whenever possible if a viable alternative exists and another expression wouldn't be especially juicy or funny. Like for example it annoys me to see people write "Are you OK?" when they could say instead "Are you alright?" which would be far more true to the setting. My last one is shorten…

Shoar's revelation had certainly put the whole situation into a new light and with the circumstances surrounding it, Annais could see why he was reluctant to tell of the real reason behind his leaving even now. But Kathana was long since dead and the women who might have known then likely were no longer in the power or wouldn't see Shoar as a threat anymore. Or so she at least wanted to believe. The whole thing made her fume. Likely the Amyrlin had had a very good reason for her deed but there was something mysterious about case Nimue. She was tempted to delve deeper into it but she would do so with caution. She had no desire to poke hornet's nets hid under the ground and…

With a slink she slunk and sneak she snuck though the brown quarters and she was in luck, for the halls were silent as the grave. Or that blasted library! Rory had no way of knowing, having never set foot in this area of the tower before, that the Brown Ajah enjoyed its silence and seclusion in the library and in its private wing. A blessing in disguise, for, had she known prior it would have been long, long ago that she decided to grace its halls with her lively presence. Rory had found a rather unflattering portrait of a certain trolloc while browsing through the library and determined it useful for future purposes. Now was the future, and this hall right here…

ooc : had to do something one of these days siting alone and watching goats, who seemed to descide they didnt need to be active. So wrote a post. Sheri had taken books with her containing pictures, she was in the grove, the morning she had off, and she bougth food for lunch in Tar Valon on her way here. She had set herself up for hearbgathering in the afternoon, hence she had all the day to spend in this lovely quiet place. The solitude fit her, and in a moment she found her favourite place, a secluded glen where she could be all alone, shuting out the rest of the world. She sat down crosslegged on her usual stone, thus gaining the heigth to look over the bush …

OOC: I p0wn you, Steve :P IC: Even pouring rain wouldn't have dampened Annais' mood today. She didn't want to entirely hide her cheery state of mind but she moderated her grin as it wasn't appropriate for an Aes Sedai to look like a total fool. She was usually fairly modest and level-headed woman and she didn't want to be too smug about her accomplishments because negotiating was what she did as a Gray Sister and success was expected of her. Regardless it always brought satisfaction when a treaty was reached that both sides were happy with. The parlay with the Black Tower had been the most challenging task she had ever done with the sudden change of M'Hael and w…

Dazar'sei drank in his surroundings as he tried to calm himself down. It had been a long road, and he never had expected it to end here. When he first thought about Channeling, it seemed like a good idea. Now that he is here, all he could think about was the madness that would surely overtake him. Maybe he shouldn't have come here, what if he kills the people he cares about, instead of saves them? What if in this thing, unlike everything else, he doesn't excel? Can he take not being the best? Now that I'm here, where do I start? Who do I talk to? As all this went through his head he relized he had completley lost track of his main goal. Is my brothe…

For the first time in memory Covina sat in front of her mirror frowning at her reflection. Were her ice colored eyes set to far apart? Were her high cheeks bones a touch too high? Her callused hand pinched her cheeks this way and pulled her hair from her face in every imaginable fashion, before letting it fall with a sigh. Ghaul would have to take her as she was or not at all. Her heart threatened to fall at the barest thought of rejection, but she pressed that all firmly to the back of her mind. Covina had no real experience with men but surely no man who could kiss a woman in that way would deny her now. With her confidence once again restored Covina glanced…
