IC: Kirsa and her parents had entered Tar Valon this morning, all but her mother, gaping like country bumpkins. Kirsa had grown in and around cities but Tar Valon was a jewel compared to coal. They had first gone to an inn, bathed, and Kirsa and her mother changed into "more appropriate" clothing to enter the tower. Her mother had insisted, even though Kirsa had seen nothing wrong with the Domani dress she wore, that they change into some Andoran dresses. After they were all clothed and clean enough to her mother's satisfaction, they rode to the tower, Kirsa riding side saddle, much to her dislike. Kirsa once again gapped, her mind nearly overtaken by the beauty ahe…

Trainees CANNOT train anyone. You must have a WS of 8 before you are allowed to train anyone in the Yards. Mentors are assigned to trainees and members of other divisions. Please remember that both Your division and the Warder's division permission is needed before you can begin your training. Also no training requests will be granted over PMs. You must email warders.staff@gmail.com for any such request. Please keep these rules in mind. All but the first is outlined on our site. Trainees cannot train anyone is an unwritten rule and will soon be written in our rule section. Mat

I've been assigned a few mentiee's, and i'm sure that I've contacted or at least started the first (and/or) second RP for you. But I've lost track of who's been put in my care as the mentor table wasn't always updated or i forgot *is a baa-ad mentor*. I'm also updating my list as I know about 2 decided to leave or have not contacted me in a while from the lack of interest. So, how are my little mini-me's doing? Need an RP? Still active? Don't want to put up with me at all? *attempts to hide Beast behind her back* Complaints? *waits patiently* *sets out trays of cookies as bait*

The corridors and the layout of Illian's royal palace had become quite familiar to Arette Stavros since the coronation of the new Queen. Lady Stavros now, she had to remind herself with an inner grin. The Wheel truly had a sense of irony for thrusting her poor husband into a role of a noble. Con had disliked the haughty and uncaring higher class all his life and now he was one by the grace of Queen Sofia as a thanks to for his help and sacrifices in her ascension. He avoided the palace and association with his new brethren as much as possible and representing their family fell on her shoulders for the most part. If the nobles returned the sentiment with Con, condescending…

Anything going on there? Or still just this vague overview: Saldaea is currently faced with three problems. To the west is Arad Doman who they had to liberate from Seanchan occupation, to the north is their Blightborder and to the east is Kandor that has been overrun with trollocs and refugees of the fall of the nation. Having to guard against the Seanchan, the Blight and try and rescue what refugees they can while resisting the trollocs on a second front is beginning to strain its resources yet it still holds strongly. Figured having an Retired Master of Arms helping/leading the Army out might explain the last sentance.

Parting the Silk flowed freely into the Hummingbird kisses the Rose; Thera flowed from stance to stance without a pause. Her muscles were straining and she could feel her thighs quiver and threaten to give way with every step. Still she pushed on feeding all of her heartache and anger into those forms. Finally her arms gave way and Thera tossed the practice sword aside with disgust. Her arms burned and her fingers no longer wanted to grip. She only paused a moment to empty her water skin before beginning again. This time it was not the sword she picked up; in fact she had no weapon at all. Her body bent bringing her chest parallel to the ground and her right foot ex…

There are 4 CoL Privy boards. 1. Staff board - Acces to yours truly, Coren and Kuro. 2. Hand of the Light 3. Army of the Light 4. Whisper of the Light. Whoever stated their affiliations, got access to the privy boards. For instance FDM stated that she would like to choose Whisper when she becomes soldier, so I already gave her access. I'm permitting access before you reach the stage RP wise where you have to make a choice because I want you to get to know the inner working of the group and mingle a bit :) So if anyone doesn't have access to one of the CoL factions and already knows which group his character will be joining in the near future...post h…

Liitha found her ways down the stairs again, it was weird, it wasnt often she was up in this section of the tower, she likely could count the number of times on her two hands. No mostly she would go to the library for books of this or that, or meet up with the Aes Sedai in the yards as they came seeking out guards or such. Soon enough though after for the first time really noticing her surroundings and the wall hangings she exited the tower. Well out of the tower her feet picked up the pace, soon she had entered the yard and found some trainee's standing idly. She sent them down to tar valon to pick up some boxes with orders to return to her room instantly. Meanwhil…

I am insanely ambitious and I would like to establish some kind of a connection with every single WT PC with Annais :) Likely she wouldn't be heart friends with you all but she would have met all of you at least in passing. So what kind of a relationship would you like to have with her? Friends or foes or neutrally professional? Annais is 145 years old so anyone in the same Age bracket (Shaneevae, Maegan, Aramina and Nyssa mainly) would have been N&A with her. Anyone in the next Age bracket would have been Accepted and newly Raised AS and likely taught her. Anyone younger she likely would have taught at some point. Then there are relationships as Sister…

If you are interested we are having a tourney. A different kind of tourney tho. It's a double elimination last man standing. ie: Warder a fights warder b - warder b wins warder b fights warder c - warder b wins warder b fights warder d - warder d wins etc... If your Aes Sedai would like to join in please check out the appropriate threads on our boards. Your WS will be calculated with a luck factor. It is highly possible for a WS of 1 to beat a WS of 20 on luck. So while the chances are small it's possible. Please no channeling unless you feel that is a good way to get your luck factor if you win. Though I think that's cheating :P …

Shoar was training under his tree as usual, moving smoothly through form to form. It was a little after midday and he had just finished stamina and endurance training for the morning, the sandbags scattered around evidence of what he had been accomplishing. As he moved through his forms he began thinking on all that had occured over the past few weeks. "Light, what a month... Returned to the Tower, nearly got killed on a NUMBER of occasions, ostracised, humiliated and finally, redeemed. The true reason for my departure from the Yards is now known... Light. So much has occured..." He ran at the tree, kicking off it and aiming a vicious decapitation swipe at an imgainary fo…

Her head was high, her chin pointed in, shoulders set in determination and resolve. From this pose she struck in the shower house, from the steams for the female guards, Saline moved, bells chiming crazily, breeches flaring and flapping at the ankles, clutching a thin book to her bosom as though it were a precious babe. Perhaps it had been, for there remained little doubt in Saline’s mind that all stories were magical, and the more she read the more easily it was to suspend all disbelief, and immerse, nay, transport her little self into another time, another realm. Soon though, how like the stubborn, willful calls of the Daulis, soon she must pass on the stories, ‘ere …

An execution, a precise stroke that was two-fold. When she made herself most vulnerable she was also strongest. Sweltering slowly in the courtyard, the Taraboner readjusted her sash and tensed her muscles, grimacing from that familiar pain in the small of her spine. She, tested, whose passion for the combat had given way in face of the harsh, jutting gashes she had to deliver in the battlefield, she no longer could admire the graceful slashing of a scimitar, her weapon of choice in physical engagement, without the blood that associated with it. Her mind shuddered at the imagery of trolloc blood on her hands, but did not balk as she accepted the feeling, the revulsio…

Dre walked through the library, a scrap of parchment clutched in her hand. She hadn't even had her first classes learning to touch Saidar yet but she already had a research paper to write on the theory. She searched through the stacks for what seemed like hours and couldn't find the book in question. Finally she decided she needed some help. Looking back toward the front of the library she found a pretty red-haired Accepted sorting through books on a cart. She had an annoyed look on her face, but Dre needed the help so she had to ask. "Excuse me," said in a shy voice, ducking her head to hide her face in her hair. "My name is An'drea and I was wondering if you coul…

All currently active Trainees have been assigned to a team. The team assignments have been posted on the Trainee Barracks board. (can't see it, sign up for the warders so you can see the private boards) Job Openings Each team needs a leader. This is a small RP Coordination job and an IC job. You will be creating RPs for your team. You will have access to the Warder RP Staff board to plan RPs with the RP Coordinators. Anyone is welcome to apply for this. This is a position that does not change based on rank of your character. You can create a permanent Trainee or use a permanent NSW trainee (bios need to be approved per the standard process). P…

http://forums.dragonmount.com/index.php/topic,21971.0.html Who would have guessed it would finally get written? :) Battle time, chance for Aiel to wreak some havoc and ruin upon the Cairhienin, and in turn for the Cairhienin to thin out some of the finest that the Aiel have to offer. The RP focuses on one particular segment of the battle, in Caraf Street. Ghaul is leading this particular group into battle, and has been pushing it forward to tempt the Rogues and Sons of Cairhien to send their best, to break the enemy in Caraf. The Rogues and Son's of Cairhien entertain the same aim, to break the heart of the Aiel by loping off the head of the serpent. Go wil…

During the passing of RJ and the down-time of these boards, I posted a small (will not be around much) on the old boards. I forgot to transfer this information once DM was up. This has, unfortunately effected the RP's I'm in, and for that I'm sorry for the small lack of communication. I'm certainly around to answer questions and the like, and If i get around to posting it's mostly because the house guests (my dad and brother) have been away doing other things. (Currently I'm sleeping on the living room couch and my dad is in my room, with my computer.. I've moved it out a few times, but it doesn't help with the writing muse too much.. :P) This should continu…

Been trying to catch up on what I can, but for the past two days i've been generally bedridden with fever, headaches and a stuffy nose. :P I'm hoping it will go away soon ?(like a day or two.. but if my sicly cousin is an indication i get to look forward to this & work for at least a week). I can genrally keep up on some Ooc stuff, but the headaches are making it impossible to read long posts, let alone write anything .. pretty.. *sigh* So, just a heads up... :P I'll let you all know when i'm feeling better. I'll try post when i can, but no promises. :S ~Andrea/Arie

She had been training, practicing making the dagger meet target when it came. The youngest of the Rashad family had rushed up to her, a little taller now than he had been when she had first met him, and stopped her swinging hand midway at the urgency in his voice. “Adela!” He had cried, violently startling amidst the calm and clarity that she usually felt while in the training grounds. Adela, while lacking in general sensibilities, knew a tired, slightly frantic boy when she saw one, and so she sat him down. Neatly tucking the daggers in, she had waited beside him, more than just curious at what had brought him to her. For a moment he simply sat, and Adela knew the…

...I'm finally starting my introduction thread, though I've been a Bander for almost eight months. Just introducing myself. I'm Ben (or Benny or Benedict) and I'm from the wonderful city of Minneapolis. I dance ballet six days a week, and hope to pursue it professionally. I'm a Junior in High School and I'm usually swamped with homework during the weekdays, though occasionally (like tonight) I have a light homework load. Pretty much it...

Jena walked into the stables and checked on her big roan, who she had decided to call Gamble. The past several days of large feed and no all day walks were doing him well. His frame was filling out well. She picked up her curry brush and went about grooming him. By the time she finished, he was gleaming. The rest had truly done a great deal for him. The only patches where his history showed were the scars that crossed his face and neck. If you moved to quickly for his head, he would still freak but the rest of his coat was truly beautiful. His ribs also still stood out, but in a way that was thin but not completely unhealthy. Jena decided she should actually see if her ga…

He may have been Raised, and had the hangover after the Raising party several weeks ago, but if there was one thing that hadn’t changed about his life, it was the ability of people around him to delegate. Now. Nerome wasn’t complaining, he didn’t mind stepping in for another Tower Guard when the other was shipped off for more important missions, or teach a young Trainee besides one Tinker on the philosophy of Spring, then another, and then another. Patience was a virtue that he had cultivated rather than been blessed with, but since it fitted his easy going nature like a glove, he had worked hard to retain the quality. However, as his clusters of students grew, and …

It was a slow week for the most part, but after how it had started, that had been completely fine with Anton. All he'd been doing was leading Anabel along, a couple of days ahead of her and setting the challenge of following his trail, and then this Lianrin had appeared. It was rather queer as a whole, the wolves had not told him anything beforehand, perhaps they thought they were Trackers now. They should have known better, but then they heeded their own counsel. Wolfkin were not above wolves, they only co-operated and helped as they wished to or as they deemed it necessary. A warning would have been nice considering the bizarre happenstance of coming across ban…
