  1. The sun light was only a rim in the horizon, the day was turning to night and darkness soon fell upon the Tower. Deiria leaned on the balcony railings. From this side of the tower you didn't see the huge dragonmount and you could watch the view over the roofs, the city and over the river to the horizon for hours. It was a good place to think or just leave all your thoughts aside. Deiria was very glad that this balcony was a part of white ajah quarters. Cold wind played games with Deiria's long hair which she liked to keep loose. Only small decorative pearl hair clip on the other side to keep few stubborn hair locks away from her eyes. She inhaled deeply and closed he…

  2. ***This is a compilation of all the post between Owen and I from the old boards.*** Post 1 The sun was midway in the sky when they reached the backside of the old cabin not far from the beginning of the stedding. WolfLover stopped and took a deep breath. She was returning home after a very long time away. Will I be welcome? I left so suddenly, and when I was needed. She looked down at the new wolves with her and their charges. I wonder if we will all be welcomed back. There was no turning back now though. The trip had taken longer that she had planned and they were running low on supplies. She had been dodging humans for days. They looked like the Band if she wasn’…

I'm guessing with all that's happening and the current WT page being taken down, are we getting a new WT page for ourselves at DM? I'm asking because if this is so, I'd like to contribute artwork if I could? ^_^ I'd love to do some pictures for a new site!

Nerome's Post It is often believed that if there is one thing a person shall always begrudge another for, it’s concerning matters of pride. Nerome, recently trounced Trainee awoke in the infirmary, with stars dancing in the black and a rather numb lower body. The first thing he thought of was the fact that there was going to be one sorry Accepted if he had his way. Dark haired, rosy lips and those blasted eyes. Pools of only Light knew what, smiling and smirking almost better than he did himself.. “Are you alright?” he asked, bending down and looking at her with concern. He had seen his defeat in those eyes the moment he had gone to help her. Selandre had always told…

Saline, The letter began on a fresh piece of parchment, that was lit by slanting rays of light coming through the window. Slender fingers gripped a quill firmly, the nib making that scratchy noise that always delighted Vera when she heard it. She was careful with the letters as always, delicately drawing out each letter so that it appeared neat. It took time, a good ten of the hour, but the satisfaction she was subject to at the end of even the most unimportant piece of writing was voluminous. The message it carried was for a student of hers, a talented Aspirant of the Red. It had taken little time for Vera to realize that in Saline, she had found a woman who would o…

Can you feel the hearts of the children? Aching for home, for something of their very own Reaching hands, with nothing to hold on to, But hope for a better day a better day Crying Jesus, help me To feel the love again in my own land But if unknown roads lead away from home, Give me loving arms, away from harm (Prayer of the Children) Sitting cross-legged on his bed, Faerthines could almost ignore his still-throbbing brain as he gloried in the first rays of the sun warming his bare chest. His newly calloused hand gripped around a small ring bearing a crest infamous throughout the world yet intimately unfamiliar to the youth until just a few …

Zemiocro Posted: Mon Jun 25, 2007 Aeveryn lay in her bed. She was utterly exhausted, and yet she could not find the strength to sleep. Every now and then a tear fled from her eyes, slowly rolling down haughty cheeks that had hardly aged a day since arriving at the tower more then twenty-nine years ago. Today had been the day she had been endeavouring since her arrival and she had actually made it. The tear now seeping out her closed eyelids was a tear of pride. She had channelled a hundred weaves. She had passed one hundred tests, some rougher then anything she had experienced before. She had survived crawling spiders and drooling men, earthquakes and whitecloaks. …

"Ride on, Edi." Dovaen Ianura spoke softly to her harrowed mare. She too was exhausted and could hardly stay on the horse, but Tar Valon was so close. It's unsullied white walls reflected the rising sun and captured something deep within her heart, pushing out the weariness the two-day ride had filled her with. She had dark circles under her eyes and slovenly hair, but she was free from her overbearing mother and her malicious former mother-in-law. They would both think her dead now, and never again would she be forced into anything against her will. A deep, satisfying feeling of being cleansed of her former lifehad filled her since she left Saldaea. And it would be compl…

Thats right, I'm resigning as FL Group Leader and embracing some well earned freedom. :) I'll still be roleplaying as strong as ever, maybe more so now that I don't have to do staff work. Someone has been chosen to take over, but I'll let them introduce themself. Be sure to give them the same support I was given. And I'll be around :)

Lorelai walked through the stedding, not sure what to do with herself. Ever since the party came back from the rescue misson, she was feeling restless. They left the Stedding with a purpose. A mission. And they returned empty handed. Many things were left behind. Not just Iris. Owen lost a part of himself as well. And Lorelai feared that their friendship was compromised in the process. The one person she felt she could depand on. The only one who truly believed in her. And she let him down. She was still unsure whether her actions were justified or not. Maybe she should have trusted Owen. But if he slipped, though, she could never have forgiven herself for not trying to s…

It had been too long since Salandrian had last seen Ebou Dar. She had not felt the golden sun, smelled the salty sea breeze, heard the polite speech used by the Ebou Dari and she missed it. All of it. She remembered when she felt so comfortable with the city she could give directions to practically anywhere in the city proper going ten different routes. And to think that she had left that familiarity of home to explore the world. Some world, Salandrian thought bitterly. Now Salandrian was here, in this unfamiliar fortress with haughty Aes Sedai looking down their noses at her and giddy novices laughing like little girls. Though there were those few gentle Aes Sedai, and w…

There was a smile on Lillian's face as she entered the Red Ajah quarters. She was generally welcome here, over the years she had assisted in the capture of several male channelers and while doing so she'd accepted the direction given to her by the Red Sisters in charge of those missions. A willingness to help and not allow Ajah politics or personal ego to get in the way had gone a long way to impressing the genuine nature of her assistance upon the Red Sisters as opposed to seeing it as interference or usurption. So, the sisters that she saw in the hallway were welcoming as they greeted her rather than simply polite. If one gave respect, one received it and that h…

It had been six weeks since Dulcinea's refusal to take the test for Accepted. And though she had been promised that there was no shame for it, there had been consequences. She had spent the past six weeks in an escalating tide of the hardest, dirtiest, chores that were available to novices. And some that normally weren't. Usually, the servants emptied the chamber pots. Making things worse, none of the other girls knew why she was having to go through all of this. But some had seen her with the Mistress of Novices a few weeks earlier, and so their guesses all centered around some sort of punishment for...something. The speculation ranged from the idea that she had s…

There are two ways in which one can become a Blademaster. I. A Circle of five Blademasters gather together to determine whether or not the "applicant" is worthy. One of the five Blademasters MUST be a PC (or NSW) not played by the "applicant". One of the five Blademasters, (may be an NPC) will challenge the "applicant" to a duel with real weapons to determine the character's worth in front of the circle. The applicant does not have to win but the council must agree unanimously that that "applicant" is worthy to be deemed blademaster. (This version of the ceremony requires 2 PCs) To make things interesting you may choose to not be found worthy on your first try…

  26. ~Leawen~ It was a sunny, bright day in Tar Valon, but Leawen’s mood had seen better days. Not many women were completely ignorant of his advances. But this tavern wench had just ignored him for the third time. One of his training comrades had claimed her ignoring him proved that she was in fact not a “tavern wench”, but Leawen failed to see that man’s point. If there ever had been a tavern wench, then it was that girl! Even her eyes, no innocent girl had eyes as deeply green as she had, were unmistakeable proof of her being the mother of all tavern wenches. He had not even been able to steal the tiniest hint of a smile from her mouth, and he really had tried. Not tha…

  27. Adine cursed silently as she stumbled over a dead branch, and was steadied by Leila's helping hand. She would never have been this ungainly under normal circumstances, years of training in elocution to make her seem less a farmgirl at the White Tower had seen to that. But with her round and plain face, all the grace in the world still made her seem perhaps a village wisdom at best. None of that mattered at the moment. What mattered was that she was blindfolded and being led to meet a group of...what had Leila called them? Wolfkind? Kin. Wolfkin, that was it. And she was more than a little nervous about it. Not the meeting itself, for which she had been assured th…

"Thank you." Nodding at the pair of men who opened the gate for him, Duram nudged his heels to his steed. Alot had changed since he had first arrived, or so he noticed as he cantered onto the estate with wagons rolling behind him. When he had first arrived, it had been rundown and disused, filthy and troubled by rats and other vermin. It had been little wonder that he had been able to purchase it cheaply, that and it was on the Calpene Peninsula where the law was to be found least. Many criminal groups to be dealt with, one way or another, and with the costs of restoring the place it had been difficult. It was for that reason that Duram was glad to have Eden…
