Crisp blue eyes scanned the horizon; the darkness had claimed the east, the sun setting in the west. Cobalt dotted with the twinkling of stars, like little lights invading the darkness, disturbing its peace. The sounds of water were all around her, along with the sounds of the crew scrambling it was almost time to dock. Soon... soon she'd be back where she belonged. It'd been a year… perhaps more that she'd taken her sabbatical. Now home loomed ahead of her, even in the darkness the spiraling tower could be seen. Closing her eyes she could remember the first day she arrived at the White Tower, full of hopes, full of fear…and full of sadness. Her mother had died a…

There were a any number of things Ursana hadn't expected to be doing while he was training to become a Tower Guard. One of those happened to be sitting in an Inn in Cairhein, getting ale for himself and his mentor, Aran. Even having travelled with the man and trained with him, he knew nothing of him really. He was good at what he did but he had an irreverant attitude about it, which suited Ursana just fine. He wasn't one of those boys who'd come to the Yards with destiny in mind. He'd been dumped there, left behind by a family that didn't know what to do with him. He'd been quite happy with his life but after being injured in Tar Valon his parents had decided that t…

IC: looking at the sun, Zeveria felt extremely rushed. There was so much going on right now for her. The yellow Ajah class and her planting of herbs, her sums for mathematics, her weaving classes with Ali Sedai and of course chores and other responsibilities. The late nights in the Infirmary where getting to her. She was extremely tired and wanted nothing more than to sleep but NO right now she had to meet with some of her class mates to work on a project. It made her want to burst out in tears and scream. To say the least she was not in the most pleasant of moods at the moment. In fact she had been like this for months and had actually snapped at a few fellow novices. Sh…

As the sun went down, Dautry bleakly surveyed his surroundings. There was no one in sight, except for Red of course. And a couple of wolves. Also, of course. The panicked fervor of his initial escape had long since been replaced by growing fatigue and an ever-present dull ache. He knew now that he would never see his father again. Most likely, Lord Byron's lackeys had made sure of that, one way or another. Dautry reflexively wiped his eyes for tears, but they no longer came. That well had dried up days ago, filled with an emptiness so deep that he doubted he would ever cry again. He had made his escape to the east, toward the Plains of Maredo, figuring it would be…

“Nerome, do you know why?†He couldn’t look at him. It had been like this for days now. Carthwin knew the truth of course, or he had guessed well enough anyway. Why then was the man forcing him to own up? What happened to silent understandings? “Nerome, answer me.†Calmly he got up. This was going to infuriate ‘Twin, but he’d rather leave than go through this once more. Picking up his knives he put them into his shirt pockets and began to clothe himself further- there was no point freezing in the night after all. “Nerome! Answer me for light’s sake! Blood and Ashes, I’ve had more than enough of…†His best friend. Carthwin A’Rau…

Since nobody seems to be taking an interest to my comeback thread, I'll be taking an interest to other stuff. Therefore, I'm in a need of other stuff. I do everything; training, beatings, rantings, cooking . . . or good-old, time-passing character development. So if anyone wants to step out of their bubble and onto mine, post me a little something here. Please? *sniff* I feel so lonely . . . *sniff*

Braxton was doing well in his training, and while trouble had found him every once in a while, and she hadnt been able to spend as much time teaching the young fool as she wanted, he was doing well. But, training was hard on the poor trainees, and now, two weeks before midsummer’s day, it was time for him to face reality and leave the safeguard walls that the training yards and the White Tower put around then. It was time for him to learn survival. Deneira alread had it figured out. She would take him into Braem woods, as if going to Caemlyn. She would tell him that she was being sent with a message to the Captain of the Guard to the Queen, and that she wanted to t…

Ok, so I know i've been away for a while, but i am making my triumphant return (as mentioned before). Wall is going to find his way back into the fold and would like to have some help. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in the thread (Owen, Burrich, Aurin, and Andular are especially invited. and I think I saw Mikala announcing her comeback as well. She is certainly more than welcome) Anyway... I'm back

It was cold. Sohvi supposed that made sense, because it was cold out, and she was… well… out. Had been out ever since her father, or at least the man who had raised her tossed her out of his home and called her a demon. As if it was her fault that she had crazy dreams and that her eyes had changed from almost black to something a lot more yellow. Sohvi was convinced that a lot of kids her age went through changes like that. She sat by a little pond, staring at her own reflection. Her eyes, mostly. They were so strange, it was hard to get used to them. Other things had changed too. She’d noticed that when she came near a village at some point. Oh, the smells. Th…

Sato: As Daruun double checked all the weights and wiped some of the early morning dew off of the weight lifting benches. Then he moved over to his large pile of meduim sized stones after making sure nothing was inhabiting them he glanced up at the rising sun. Carnhain should be here any minute now. As if thinking his name had summoned him Carnhain came walking into the clearing along the path through the woods. Jogging up to greet the cavalryman Daruun wore a large grin on his face. "Peace favour your blade Carnhain how are you?" After he responded Daruun immediately began walking him over towards the weights and the weight benches that were set up on the far side of…

Hey! I just got my bio Approved and Cced(Thankyou Lwena and Owen :D)and I'm just posting to say "Hi, I exist." :P Some of you might know me as a Gray Sister Vera on the WT side and I've a couple of other characters if any of you are ever in need of a DF or Trainee. ;) *smiles* I'm really excited about RPing here- this is a Div I've had no exposure to whatsoever, so if I'm a little slow at first, forgive and maybe even forget, please. :P Also, as a sidenote, I'm also the Wanderer gone mad who Asfa mentioned here so maybe we could plan on it how we're going to do this? :D *waits patiently* :P -Anwen/Vera

Jaydena rolled her shoulders and attacked the dummy again, she had worked up a good sweat and was feeling like she was ready for some action. Didn't matter what kind, if she didn't live in a city full of Aes Sedai she could lose herself in the crowds, go out and dance like a normal woman. Stabbing the sword into the dummy she sneered, Of course normal women were burned so horribly they had to wear a mask. Right now the mask of a black color made of ligher material that allowed more breathing when she was working out. Already she had run fifty laps, done sword forms, push-ups, and several other exercises before moving to the practice dummys. Something was coming over her, …

The wheels came to an abrupt halt as the merchant drew rein. How Renalie had managed to remain undetected on her journey, an under-seat stowaway as quiet as a mouse, she did not know. She was grateful for that fact though. Her slender build had always made her good at hiding games and no one would find her if she put her mind to it. Nevertheless, this seemed to be the wagon’s final destination, and in time it would be well past time to get out of this conveyance before she was discovered and told off. A buzzing sound – excited grown-up conversation from the sounds of it, floated on the still air and a half dozen strange smells assailed her nose. Her heart leapt …

ooc havent finished them all so just taking this slow going, but figured could post the first one and whenever you had time and is in a writing mood you can post no rush as said... Cema lay looking up at the skies, she watched the formations drift in and out of shape. She had been reading and should be practising on her weaves, preparing, practise made master, though it would take finding someone to practise with. The main consern was her dream or rather nigthmare of the night before, horible pictures of imaginations of what happened those years back in Ebou Dar. She where somewhat puzled by it she had plenty nightmares rigth after but had left them in the past, …

Studying the young man for a moment Nights lost himself in the spring so he would not shower his anger on him. “You can leave any time you like Kraken this is no prison. We are here to help you and be a family but if what you want is to leave then by all means do so.†Standing to one side Nights pointed east. “That is your best way out of the stedding and I wish you good luck Kraken.†Crossing his arms Nights waited when Kraken hesitated he gave him another opportunity. “If you wish to learn and want to master the gifts you have been given then I will gladly teach you. I will not however be talked rude to and told how miserable you are here ar…

"Thank you." Taking the note she had been given, Lillian didn't even watch the Novice depart as she opened the note. A Novice bearing news to an Accepted was more often than not doing so at the behest of the Mistress of Novices. Not wasting anytime, she quickly got to her feet and made sure her appearance was impeccable before she made her way from her Quarters. The summons did not state what they were for, but as far as Lillian knew she had not transgressed any rules. Her studies were progressing steadily, what could this be about? Knocking politely at the door to the Mistress of Novice's office, she was quickly called in by Faerzyne Sedai. Stepping inside, …

There were few days when Aramina felt the need of a distraction. A true distraction from the grind of her room and the stale facts that never seemed to relent. She had woken from deep sleep no less than 4 times the night before with the need to run to her desk and see to something that had come to her as she slept. When she woke two of them had been absolutely riiculous, one had been treacherous, and the final one had been absolutely brilliant. 1 good idea in 4 was not worth pulling her out of bed that often and she decided that she needed to get her head away from her work for at least half a day. She walked along the halls, watching the people she passed. Most…

“Is there a reason you are here, boy?†The Library always scared him a little. It was too much like…well, home really. Except, Selandre would’ve never allowed for her books to get dusty. Nerome personally found it rather ironic that it was the women who were most passionate about books who lived in halls of dust and dirt. Almost like they couldn’t be bothered by anything else. The Library did have a certain allure to it though- he hadn’t been able to put a finger on it yet, but there was something. “I’ve come to do research for an assignment my mentor has given me, Aes Sedai.†Smooth, polite, to the point. They wanted etiquette? He would give them etiq…

There were few things that made Aramina smile without thought or consequence. Flowers. There was something about the flowers in the Grove that always made Aramina feel stronger, feel refreshed and able to go about her day when everything else had seemed to go astray. In the past few days Aramina did something to make sure she had a haven of sorts to go to. Her quarters had been designed for an Aes Sedai with trhee warders but Aramina had no intentions of bonding. The two furthest rooms remained empty and undisturbed except when she went in to clean them and air them out on occassion. In the room closest to her own, she had created a personal haven, an area of s…
