“What may be, and what may come, may yet still fall under the Shadow. What should be, and what will be are still to be fought. What may come to pass, can only be hoped to hurry the drums of war towards the end, the final battle, Tarmon Gai’don. For under the Darkness, all shall be un-spun from the great Pattern and none shall be spared. Beat on the drums of war. Let the Dragon dance and fly on the winds of Time, the Creator spun flesh; for he must not fail us.†—Translation Unknown Documents pertaining to the Rise of the Dragon, believed recorded around 400 NE. A wind rose among the peaks of Kinslayer’s Dagger, bent and twisted by the hea…

Cema went in quietly to not make Nuitari up, she had spent most the night planting her cover story, and tomorrow migth bring new questions, but first she would sleep. She locked the door with a weave again after she was inside and sliped into her bedroom, there would be enough to do for sure in the days to come. Nuitari had come around but he where far from stabile in her eyes yet, though it would work out as long as she kept him isolated till she was sure he where true to his new call. She had just started unbutoning her shirt butons when she heard the familiar 4 soft feets hit the carpet in the livingroom softly, knowing it ment her cat, a red long haired one ha…

OOC. don't really like the title, but it was the best I could come up with. :) Enjoy: Aleanda sat in her chair on her room. There was a tence atmosphere as Aleanda couldn't come with the answer. She was quite out of her mood and it was shown on her face. Seen on her face as she wasn't keeping it emotionless because no one would see it because she was in her own room. She looked at papers she had spread out on her desk. Some of the papers contained information about Skimming, while others contained information about the White Tower politics. It had been quite some trouble to find all this out, and it had took Aleanda quite some time. Aleanda got a book from her desk th…

Coraman grunted as she struggled to do the last situp - she ached everywhere from the new training regimen that Cairma had her do every day. On top of honing her skill in the Flame and Void, she never had to concentrate so much every single day. Until Seiaman found her. There were times when she wondered where she would be now if her foster mother had not literally plucked her from the streets. She suppressed a shudder; it was still not pleasant thinking of her life in the streets yet she knew she could not forget the lessons learnt. She got on her two feet and stretched her arms over her head as her eyes swept across the yards. Coraman still felt uncommonly out of pl…

It was a sunny, but not overly warm day that found Lillian sweeping into the Novice Quarters. Not just for just any Novice, but one in particular whose talents had caused her to laugh without even having met the woman before. Rossa, her pictures of Estel had been widely circulated and laughed over. The woman's sense of humour with her sketches had caused even a number of the Aes Sedai to crack their calm facades with a chuckle. But it wasn't Rossa's humour that Lillian needed, though it would certainly make the day pass more easily. Instead, she needed the woman's help with sketches, her ability to translate what she saw onto paper. It was a skill that Lillian ha…

Since we do not currently have a website to host all our pertinent training information, and since we have so many newcomers to the division (yea for newbies!) I thought I'd use this to consolidate the training regimen for the Wolfkin Division here at DM. There are two stages of progression within the Division. The first stage is very similar for all and includes the progression from Wanderer, through the Wolfcub stage, to full Wolfbrother/sister status. The second stage is progression through the various levels of training within a character's chosen division of the Kin. First, that training which is consistent to all. After being found and brought to the St…

The enormity of her situation had hit Disendra that morning. It was all well and good being hoisted into the Tower kicking and screaming, but the actual implications of that were finally hitting home. "I can channel the One Power" she whispered. As an errant breeze caught the sleeve of her white dress, a single tear coursed down her cheek. Being from Tear, the very thought of the Power should have filled her with dread. Normally, it wouldn't have. But it was an entirely different story now that SHE was the one who could wield it. Her parents didn't even know. The last they had seen of Disendra was when she had climbed aboard her wagon and set off for Tar Valon …

Corin looked out over the moon lit yard; a mist still held the soft grass covered ground from sight. Dawn’s faint light painted the edge of the horizon with a tingeing of light and set the spire tops to twinkle in the dark sky above them. Today was the day he would be breaking in his new assignment. Why the Mistress of Trainee’s saw fit to assign the boy to him was beyond all reason short of spite. He would have to spend some time thinking later on what he had done to rile the foul women up and earn him this payment. Sure he had perhaps had a few instances that were out of the norm with his previous and present trainee’s. But was that really a reason for assigning t…

Cema walked through the hallways loosening her braid from the knot she had put it in. Her feets treading through familiar hallways towards the green quarters. Her fingers started loosening the braid just as she entered the halls belonging to the greens...she should be outside it was far to hot to be inside, there hadnt been much rain at all lately, unfortunatly she had reports to collect, but she would take them with her outside she had already descided. Even trying to ignore the heat beads of sweat could be traced in her neck before she let her hair down shaking it loose. She hardly noticed some of the younger sisters who sat over some books and reports in the com…

Cema sat looking at the firefly's dancing outside the window. This was a night of meditation and choises, through all her time as an initiate from her resistfull start at novicehood through her strugeling to reach her new aim she had held it to herself what direction she would seek in. All in all she had been as surpriced this afternoon of her summon as she had when she where told it was time for her arches. Thus she had run out of time, though the time here she had tried to cover a broad spectre to find what ajah would suit her aims bether, some had been easier to discharge then others. A smile crossed her lips, she was sure none knew what ajahs she was down to or t…

Smiling as he approached the circle, the formula of the blademasters was familiar to him as they formed a circle about him. All of them faces that he knew, all of them watching him with expressions ranging from curious to resigned. The latter due to his previous losses, the former due to his choice of attire. Shrouded in a cloak that was a bit too big for him, not even his feet were visible let alone his face that was cowled and hidden by the half light. Those that were resigned simply shrugged it off as another piece of Aran's stupidity. When he was asked as to why he was worthy, Aran laughed. "Because Ginae looks good in blue." Getting a chuckle from a few of …

A dark lightless sky; the moon hidden behind the thick blanket of cloud. It seemed to fit his mood, a mood that had become far to familiar. Linten adjusted the saddle pack on the short legged gelding he sat; moved in rhythm with the horses steady trot toward another town. It was the only light in the area and the only potential light for him; a chance to once again start over. Each time he had the Tar Valon witches had appeared; going about their business it seemed. But he knew better; knew they must be Red’s hunting for male channelers; for him. Each time he seemed to settle in; began to find possible comfort and a way to co-exist. They had shown up in all their pompou…

Kelleen’s journey to Tar Valon was not a long one, but there were times on her way that she thought she might not make it. She didn’t know much about the expense of things away from her home so her gold went a lot faster then she’d hoped. Sleeping at inns every night with meals added up very quickly. She found herself with only five silver marks and a few coppers in less then two weeks after she left Arafel, and she still had a week to go on her trek. After a long day of walking, she finally came to a small village around nightfall. She walked into a nice looking inn and was stopped dead in her tracks by the site of an Ogier sitting at one of the common room…

The Head Cook called Shanara over from where she was chopping tomatoes. "You do be the roast girl, yes?" asked the Cook, a scowl firmly implanted on her ruddy face. At Shanara's slightly confused nod of assent, the Head Cook went on. "We will be serving roast chicken to the esteemed guests of the Amyrlin and the Hall, so be on about it, girl! Spice them and spit them and get another Novice or two to help you turn them all; I din't understand why yeh're the only Novice capable of doin' roastin' prop'rly! Run 'long now," said the woman, thrusting a large, squashy bundle wrapped in butcher paper into Shanara's arms. Shanara, who was definitely averse to raw …

Peaten strode silently and quickly over the vast area of the Great Blight. At least, the reflection of the Great Blight in the Dreamworld. It was no where near as fast as traveling with the One Power, but it was still faster than the Ways, and much faster than riding or walking. Of the all gifts the Great Lord had given him, channeling was not one of them, so he made due. The Blight soon turned to tundra, then quickly to a sheet of pure ice and snow. He had never journeyed to this part of the world in Tel'aran'rhoid before. It was odd. Things that moved in the waking world were often blurred images here. Sometimes holes formed in the thinner ice out of nowhere. He wou…

Livid was probably the most accurate description of Disendra’s feelings. Unceremoniously plucked from her wagon by an abrupt and domineering Aes Sedai, stuffed into her hideous white dress with just as much ceremony and curtly informed that she BELONGED to the Tower. “Like some bloody possession that they want. Like one of their bloody precious ter’angreal.†She was currently stalking along the corridors of the Tower, almost at random, searching for the infirmary. “Like they expect me to be able to sleep on my first night as,†she put on a stern, Aes Sedai voice dripping with the contempt that seethed inside of her, “a novice of the White Tower.†…

A breeze rustled the tall grass in Cairhien, sighing through the trees. It lingered for a moment before catching the edge of a patch-covered cloak, almost as if it feared the man beneath it. A thought of vanity, of course, he thought as he allowed the breeze to blow over him, reveling in the sensation. Many would call the man handsome, with his dark hair and even darker eyes. The features hidden below the finely woven and inverted webs of Illusion were no less striking, but different all the same, all except the eyes and hair; the man could not bring himself to change those. The face below the Illusion, the face of a monster. The face of a man long dead. The face o…

There doesn't appear to be much going on here but I thought I would say hello anyway :) How is everyone going? What exciting things are going on in the RP? I'm still not able to RP again, I don't really write anything these days. I miss it, but I don't have the inspiration yet. Or the time. Or...I the time, mostly. Hehe I guess I do feel inspired if I am missing it, right?? I am in my second semester of uni for this year and moving ever toward having a proper qualification that will get me a good job and make me rich (comparatively anyway). I can't wait to be in full time work earning good money and having weekends free, and nights, and...ahhhh, my life will r…
