Opal stood in the large entrance hall of The White Tower, wishing she had listened to her Mother and sisters about where to go to get tested. They had all told her at one time or another, go to somewhere and be tested by an Aes Sedai, she really hadn’t listened. There were women everywhere in here, some in silks some in fine linens, but there were a lot of women in white, some kind of livery maybe? Some of the women were in plain white dresses, others had a strange rainbow around the hems. The ones in all white were practically running, under servants maybe? The women with the rainbows at their hems had more dignity, and upper servant maybe clerks? Opal decide…

Running. Running away. Something is after me. Impossible! It can't run, but it's after me. Taei tripped. Paniced she look behind her and... Woke up. Taei was sitting straight up in her bed. Sweat poured down her forhead and her heart was racing. She felt as if she had run three laps around the tower. I don't understand. Why does it scare me so much? The thing that had been following her was the ter'angreal used for the arches ceremony. She had ran, she had fled. Fled from what it might show her and now it hunted her in her dreams. Looking out the window she noticed that it was almost time to get up anyways. Sighing she started her preparations for the day. No …

Thanking the guard for allowing him through, Marden Veniso touched his heels to the stallion between his legs, spurring it on through the western gateway of Tear. He looked travel worn, the broad rimmed hat and cloak he wore marked by travel. He had travelled from Far Madding to Illian before arriving in Tear, hoping the Aes Sedai would think he would flee north to Kandor which he knew so well. He was sure he'd been seen, yet no one had made a move on him yet, save for a trio of brigands who had thought to lighten his purse but had ended up fattening it instead. The winter hadn't helped him in the slightest either, the game had been poor as Marden travelled through…

Shawn was on his way to breakfast after his morning workout when Ginae caught him and brought him into her office. It seemed there was a new trainee in the Yards that had arrived yesterday and it was now his task to train the lad until he was ready to become a Tower Guard. Shawn thanked Ginae for the oppurtunity to mentor an up and coming Guard and assured her the trust she had placed in him would not be in vain. He could tell from the look on her face that that was not a reaction she was used to getting. It seemed that most of the Guards looked on working with trainees as a waste of their time. What a shame. When he left Ginae's office he continued on to the mes…

Hello everyone! I was just talking to one of my fellow Gray ajah members, and we came to the conclusion that it would be pretty awesome if we could set up a network of Eyes and Ears that doesn’t just consist of shady NPC’s, but also has some PC’s that report back to us. So… who would like to be a part of the Gray Ajah Eyes and Ears network? ~Nyssa Deschain Gray Sister.

Sunlight filtered through the canopy of branches above Borac’s head as he led his horse down a seldom used trail. The Master at Arms had left the White Tower early that morning to head into the wilderness where he would take over the training of Shawn. The young Tower Guard had approached him about continuing his training no long after Lyv had left the tower. Borac had trained Lyv and while her decision to leave still bothered him he respected it. Immediately agreeing to take the man on he had instructed him to meet him at the waterfall where he trained all his pupils. Giving the man very detailed directions he told him to meet him there at mid day. Borac h…

A dull ache in her back had been bothering her all day. She'd been going about her business, quite tired from the kicking that the baby had been giving the inside of her belly all night, when she first noticed it. Gently rubbing her back as she toddled down the stairs, Elia greeted her foster-daughter and gathered some breakfast with a weary sigh. Going about her usual routine, the backache was soon joined by cramps not unlike those that sometimes accompanied her moon-time. Elia did her very best to ignore them - since she hadn't had a moon-time in months and months. It wasn't until the cramps got much stronger that she realised it. Elia's mother was dead, and h…

The meeting had lasted much longer than Phaedra had hoped and as she settled in her chair by the fireplace and rubbed her temples, she wondered why she even bothered. The Hall had done everything to make her stop from going to Cairhien, her place was here in the Tower among her fellow Sisters. After the attack on the Tower, the murder of Sisters and the death of their Amyrlin the Hall had become even more wary of risks. Phaedra Eskarne felt personally responsible for what had happened to Dawn Raelene and she could not rest until she found out the how and why behind the assassination. She was sure this was not just a raid or robbery gone wrong, there was more behind this. …

M'bela tread into the dream furious, her dress was a deep blood red one with a low cut. The nerve of that sul'dam, if she found the girl in the dream tonite she would for sure never wake, but there where no reason why she should. It was but random that peoples that didnt have her own talent stumbled upon the dream and then for brief moments only. M'bela shook her head, she had other things to do beside. This was rediculus she needed to find Semirhage, she didnt know any but her mistress that could help her sort this out. Though the dream where becoming more dangerous as well, wolves where a nuicanse, but a couple months back she had stumbled upon another chosen. M'be…

And on our own turf. If some more people (the RP is open to ALL BTers) could respond the Band thread on the Farm board would be GREAT. I want to move the RP on shortly but was hoping for a bit more responsiveness first! Cheers, Dali/Ben.

Janna sighed as she watched Silver bound ahead, crisp Autumn leaves crunching beneath her paws as she followed the scent of a squirrel. So much for stealth, the Tracker thought with resignation. They were close enough to the Stedding that it shouldn’t matter. The Rangers knew they were approaching even without the young wolfs antics. Still, she’d have to rethink taking the cub with her in search of Wanderers, at least til she had grown a bit. Matured. Last night she had dreamt the strangest dream…of Windracer. He and Silver had been playing, wrestling with one another on the floor of her isolated cabin. Four times the size of the cub Wind had been tolerant and a…

Gianna woke early on the 15th day of Saven, a good hour before First had rung. Today was the Feast of Fools, a feastday celebrated across the nations, and the Cairhienien novice could hardly contain her excitement. She rolled over on her cot and pulled light linen stockings up to her knees. She also donned a Novice dress of thin wool. Saven is in the middle of the year, and high summer was fast approaching, if not already there. It would not do to be drenched in sweat during the outing to Tar Valon later today. Gianna quickly washed her face and scrubbed her teeth at the washbasin, and smoothed her chestnut hair over her shoulders with a few pulls of an ivor…

What a day... she two trainees had decided it would be fun to spar over some Aes Sedai, more than likely a green, that they had seen in the yard. They both wanted her, and immediately decided to fight over her. When would the trainees realise that: one, no Aes Sedai was going to drop their current "pillow friend" for a child of 16 or 17, and, two, that no Aes Sedai would ever be interested in a boy foolish enough to fight for her. Still they fought... perhaps she should teach a class on that, because she was bloody tired of breaking up fights and getting hit a few times because of it. Light, who would have thought that scrawny Daved could punch that bloody hard. Of c…

The cool night breeze came up and wrapped around Aramina sur Dulciena as she walked towards a middle of the road Inn. It wasn't the best in town and it wasn't the worst, but it had it's share of rowdy moments. For that reason Aramina chose to stay there. She was comfortable in this sort of establishment, from years of travelling to other such places in search of Eyes and Ears that would send her up to date, reliable information. The owner of the Silver String was a woman of middling age and size, her eyes always quick and her tongue quicker. Aramina thought she might become a new contact if this trip went well. Already her information had shown reliable and her me…

Rien read the note as he walked to his destination Meet me in the barracks the note said. It was obviously from that buffoon Maldrin....He had said that he wanted to prank Cairma, Rien didn't know why, but he wanted to have some fun while he was here. Rien was wearing one of his favorite red coats, he tucked the note inside it. He decided that he wasn't going to need his sword today, so he left it in his room this morning before he went out, now he was on his way back to the barracks to find Maldrin. "It'll be interesting to see what he has in mind..." Rien said quietly to himself

The afternoon was beginning to dwindle as Aramina decided to take a break from her reports. It was a good feeling, to know that after her first years of travel and setting up Eyes and Ears that it had finally paid off. Her reports were becoming more and more reliable, her people beginning to understand what it was she was looking for and needed from them. As she exited her room in the Green Ajah's quarters, she paused, noticing a young girl coming out of Halvie Sedai's rooms. A novice that she was trying to place. She had seen the girl before and Aramina liked to remember people. Lillian.. that was her name. Aramina gave her a polite smile. "You seem to be ou…

The rain had finally passed, for three straight days Lyv had been soaked during hours of standing on the wall staring into nothing. Talyn had asked her to take over his duty the evening before, even though he’d seen her standing there in the cold and rain the two nights before. He had a bad excuse, but Lyv knew he was a lieutenant and really did not have to ask at all. The fact that he asked and not ordered had made her agree without a fuss. Lyv missed Rosheen, she was off traveling and had sent a letter just a week ago that she was doing good. It was full of heroic stories and thoughts on pranks to do when they got back together in the Yards again. Lyv leaned back …

Rion stood in front of his newly built home idly tapping his lip with a finger. It looked alright, he had followed everything he had in relation to building objects. His knoweldge, books, advice from other people but something didn't really sit right. You're structure is off. Rion sniffed and shook his head. Conversing with this voice at least was alright. But it still felt strange not having a problem conversing with them. My structure is perfect. The wieght sits right, the cement was correct. What's wrong with it. To Rion it did look perfect, even if rather small. It was only the walls as well, everything inside was bare and even the windows were holes in the walls.…

The water rushed by, overpowering his ears and forcing his eyes shut. His arms flailed around madly, and the last bit of his strength forced his legs to kick out. His swords, bow and armour was weighing him down, but if he was to die, he wanted it to be as he had lived- ready to fight at a moments notice. Air. He needed it, craved it, his body demanded it, his muscles refusing to work without the oxygen that drove them. His mouth opened, and water rushed in. The void. Only the void could help him now. With massive effort from the core of his being, he forced himself to assume the Void, centralising himself with the Flame that filled it. Like a steel trap, his mout…

It had been a week since the wolves had started following him. Feeding the roaring blaze before him, even Anton Averdal's frantic industry couldn't hide the fact that he was bone tired. After parting ways with certain woman and taking to the road by himself in Tarabon, he'd begun to notice that he wasn't alone. Wolves, wherever he went they followed and had done so for over a week now. That in itself was not cause for the trouble which Anton felt, his time in the Wolfkin Stedding had given him a chance to learn more about the wolves, and he knew he they wouldn't attack him. No, that wasn't what had led him to a small ravine in the hills north of Elmora. If he …

Home. Slipping out of the saddle, Duram Laddel Cham looked up at the gates that loomed before him. Wrought iron, each bar was perhaps as thick as a young lady's wrist. Interwoven between the bars were vines that had overgrown not only the gate, but the walls as well. Walls that had seen better days, the vines seemed to have choked the life out of them, much in the same way the corruption on the streets threatened to choke the life out of Tanchico. Leading his steed forward, he grasped the gate with his hand and ran his hand down the bar and pushed. Despite the wear of time, the gate still held firm. Reaching into his loose shirt, he withdrew a key on a silver…

The Incarns are now accepting applications for WT DL. Before you apply, please make sure you have the time necessary to put into running a Division, I usually recommend at least 10-15 hours a week, aside from any RPing. Other than that, anyone, of any rank, is encouraged to apply. Apps should be mailed to incarns@gmail.com. Per requests, some things that we look for in apps that will give us a more complete picture of you (especially since it's impossible for us to know everyone!): - Any previous experiences in a management position (not necessarily at DM) - Familiarity with DM rules & guidelines - Plans for the future of the WT (major plotlines you'd lik…

Jaydena strode back to her room quickly and set about getting ready for the night ahead. Aramina had asked her to stand with her during her night of contemplation. She was honored to have been chosen, it had been some time since she had done one of these and so much time had passed since her own. Smiling she picked up her journal, a quill, inksted, sealing wax, her seal, sand, and her writing lap. When she was done she set it all inside the lap and closed it tight, she added something to snack on and headed to Aramina's room. Knocking on the recruits door she waited for an answer. When the answer came she opened the door and spoke, "Tonight we will do whatever you want, t…

Gianna hiked her skirts up and made her way through the halls, not quite stomping, but close to it. A small voice inside her head told her that she was very close to flouncing. She pushed it aside angrily. I am NOT flouncing...just walking heavily. Ignoring the incongruity of the thought, she continued on her way to the Green quarters. Her destination was partly the source of her irritation. The majority was her own misgivings about her abilities. Gianna had not yet touched the True Source, despite near 6 months in the Tower. While she had progressed steadily in other areas of learning, she was falling steadily behind other Novices when it came to saidar. …

Hoping to resurrect my character, Terren Al'Fnorrll. He is a WS 11 warder, of the old Daisho al Dracon disc. He's been away for a while, but I've got an RP idea to counter that. When he comes back he will be suffering partial memory loss too... Don't know how to advance with this idea. Any comments on what to do? Also, he is currently bonded to Ashanda Kisain, but I havnt seen her online for about 2 years, so is there any chance that can be disolved, and have him return to TG status? Thanks.
