Nanna sat in her room in the Novice quarters, idly running a brush through the yellow locks of one of the other Novices. The girl was one of a handful of children for whom Nanna had become a sort of surrogate mother. This particular one was one of the younger girls, a young woman from Andor named Elzibet. The weave of Spirit formed easily for Elin, as they almost always did, and Elin split her flow into a second weave designed to slash other weaves, then a third, a shield, designed to cut another channeler off from the source. Today’s lesson was going to be a particular trial for Elin. Women, in general, were weaker in Earth and Fire than men, but Elin was weaker than even the average woman in Earth. The lights of Tar Valon shimmered in the night, dwarfed by the luminosity of the White Tower. With the latest additions of very high quality writers I am inspired to organise a first Brown Ajah open RP. But first, I'd like to see if there is an interest for this type of RP among our Novices and Accepteds, since this will be mainly focussing on them.
