I'm not sure how he is to meet the band up with the band. My initial thought was that he was going to be a young Tairen Lancer who was serving under a lord whose small company of lancers just so happened to join The Band. Now my question is...is it possible to retro that said company has already joined the band at the Citadel prior to them leaving for Tarabon? or should I just have said company meet with The Band on its way to Tanchico? or something altogether different? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The White Tower in Tar Valon stood as a beacon of light and hope to the world. Ogier-built, its walls were white as its name, gleaming even brighter when the sun's rays caught them. It was a massive and imposing structure, yet graceful and beautiful as well. Truly, one of the most impressive displays of architecture the Ogier had left their mark upon. In my first few RP posts, I noticed that very handy quote button ... and used it extensively to quote other people's words :P I'd never RPed before. In fact, I had never even LOOKED at any RPing. I'd just joined a site because a friend of mine asked me to. I thought I'd like to bring my trainee out of retirement, I just checked and his bio is in the archive and so is all his WS info - is there anything else I need to do to play him again? So I’ve been inactive for a couple years now, but I find myself with some new found free time. I’ve been reading the new book and it’s brought back a ton of great memories of my time at Dragonmount. So, after some carful thought I’m going to try and come back. I have a full Ranger character named Shepherd al’ Grey that I could start up with again, but I’m debating weather or not to come up with a new one. I’m not sure of the activity level of things here with the Kin nor who the DM is or how things have changed. Any advice on this front would be great. Personally, I like Shepards Pie, Tuna Casserole, Ham casserole, anything with Mashed potatoes and anything with scalloped potatoes (scallops not included). Plenty of other good meals out there of course, but those are my favourites.

I'm working on my Leadership thread and I need some volunteers. Shawn will be taking a group of trainees on a training exercise within a day's hike of Tar Valon, near a medium-sized river. While there they are attacked by a fist of trollocs. Shawn orders the trainees back toward the river and buys them the time they need to board a ferry by fighting the trollocs. In their flight some of them (NPC or TTPC) get cut off from the group and don't make it to the ferry. Shawn tries to hold the trollocs off to give them time to escape but soon realizes that he must make a choice between saving all those that made it to the ferry or going back to save the stragglers. …

Hey Everyone, Figured I'd offer to have Visar teach a class on something to help with Trainee WS requirements. In addition to doing basic fitness/basic movements and related classes, I can teach some cool stuff about the following three weapons: longsword: basic principles of the weapon (could be applied to single (katana-ish) or double edged). Could either count for Primary/Ssecondary/Tertiary weapons training or might possibly double as a variation of basic movements applied to one weapon (if I include some footwork and explain the different strikes). staff/spear/pole-weapons: using the staff as a tool to learn how to use other pole-weapons, teaching funda…

Everyone! Asfaloth, one of our own, has informed me that only several hours ago he became the proud and beaming father of a new baby girl!
