Keeping my head above the water of aerospace engineering had become a full time job, leaving no room for eating and sleeping much less anything else. Hey all. I just thought I would share with you all my bubbling excitement from my RL. As some of you may or may not know, I have been away for a bit, working on..well work and life and all that, but I have also been working on writing my first novel. Well, it is not finished yet, but I am just about across the 100,000 word count and closing in on completing the first draft of it before my birthday in August. I have a ways to go still, something like another 30-40,000 words or so I think, but I have been making some great progress and thought I would share. :)

I'm gonna have to head out of town for a few days, so I'm leaving things in Covai's capable hands until I get back. Should be Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm pretty sure I won't have any net access while I'm gone, but if I do I'll pop in for a bit. So play nice, and direct any and all questions toward Covai.

Reclined in a chair, watching over the recovering Storm Leader, Arath couldn't help but feel exasperated. Nearly a full day had passed, and still Covai hadn't moved. The best healers at the Farm had done all they could for him, even using one of the few angreal the Black Tower posessed. Heya all, sorry I have been a bit um...absent lately. I have been around the boards but have had an ill 16 mo old at home and then took a turn at the flu myself. :P I should be far more active and aware now, with FAR less foggy head ;D P.S. Rurak sat on the edge of a cot in the medical tent. He'd been ordered to come here twice a day to get a change of bandages for his hands. Just thinking about not having his hands burned him up. Sure he was still a member of the band, at least for now, but he was next to useless like this! He couldn't use his fingers for now, and from the looks the medics gave him when he asked about it, there was a possibility he might not ever get the use of those back. I am still not sure 100% what my RP idea is yet, but I do know that I need an AS. I am currently working on this req---> Scouting and defending - Student will be required to spend a significant amount of time with a group of people in the process of defending themselves against a greater force. During this time the student will study enemy movement and send reports on hostile activity back to the White Tower. Your character will have to interact with a WT character who will receive the reports and sent back instructions if they are required. Standing outside of the archery range with his old bow that he had spent the last night cleaning up and adding a new string to, and some arrows that he had picked up shortly before arriving Burgandy waited for Lt. Over the weekend there has been a change in Staff. Raeyn has stepped down for at least nine months, due to her being in the "John Hurt" way. ;D So i have been giving some thought as to who could replace her. I wanted someone who i knew well and that i could work with as closely as i have with Raeyn. Of all the current Staff one that i know the best is Taymist, and it is she that i have asked to take over the roll of Assistant Admin for the PSW. Please give her all the help and support you gave Raeyn....thank you and good luck Tay :)

Hey Browns, so I was thinking on rps that we could do. I have a couple of ideas, we have some people who are now creating angreal, it would be neat if the Browns got ahold of them or the angreal they made. Another idea is the Browns dealing with some of their alliances. Do you have an ajah you are closer to, ones you want to approach etc? What ideas do you have for ajah wide rps or ajah involving another ajah. Another idea I had was a library rp. Thoughts?

May be so inclined to use a rope swing I have a lesson for you. In order for it to be a swing you must LET GO of the rope. I watched one of my kids slam into the other side of the bank today, and shortly there after I learned lesson number two. Not only must you let go, but you must let go soon enough :P Your fearless and idiotic leader did not let go soon enough and trapped her ankle in the mud and proceded to twist it, and possibly sprain it. Let me tell you how exciting that was in front of about 20 teenagers. I may never live it down ;D I wanted to share these important lessons so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. :-*

I have done a few searches, both with the search tool and manually, but I have not turned up what I was looking for. Anyway, does the Black Tower division maintain a website still that is like this one - http://blacktowerdiv.wordpress.com/about/ ? The reason I ask is because I have not seen a place where the buying method for the OP is written out (ie the strength of the respective elements), current holders of talents and open ones, weapon scores, ect...
