Hail...everyone? My name is Kiyel (aka Kyle, bet you didn't see that one ;)). But I'm new to the Forums, and I no idea what I'm doing. Although I have come to DM for chapter summeries of the books and news on RJ's condition. I even found out about his...ya know...for here. I've read up to LoC, but I mostly skimmed through. Once I got the concept of the gravity and depth these books cover, I decided to restart from the begining and read thoroughly. I just got done with NS and EotW and can't wait to start on tGH. I was looking at the Role-Playing thing; and although I do not understand it totally yet. I've looked at a couple different divisions as ones that I would li…

Hi! Well, I found this site a good while ago when I was looking for some information about a specific character from one of the books. I found my way to the forums and since then, I've found myself more and more interested in joining this community you have going on here. So I joined. The forum title and description told me to post here and introduce myself. So here I am. I was going to give you a little bit of a description about me, but now that I've started writing this post, I really have no idea what I should put down. So if you want to know anything about me, you're going to have to do the old fashioned way and just get to know me. :) Now that…

Hi, I'm Karen and I'm new on the Dragonmount forums. I've used the site to find summaries of the books sometimes, if I was starting a book and had forgotten some details of the last one, but I've never gotten on the forums. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I started reading the series when I was in sixth grade, and I've just started reading the series for the second time. I'm about 50 pages into The Dragon Reborn. I'm completely lost on these forums, so sorry if I ever make a fool of myself. I'm just trying to figure things out.

Hi there. Been lurking on the site for a few weeks, and decided that I should jump in and weigh in on the disscussion. Picked up WoT about two years ago. Bought my dad New Spring for Xmas...we both had just finished Stephen King's Dark Tower series, and I thought that he would enjoy having a new series to start. He never got very far in New Spring, but I managed to read it and was hooked. After a few weeks of NS buzzing around in my head, I caved in and went out and got Eye of the World, and read each book in about a week each. I'm currently on my third read-through...my memorial read-through. It started one night when I idly wondered how RJ was doing with his conditio…

Hi there. Most people online know me as Mouse. Its because of my screen name (Mighty Mouse instead of Might One) ;D I use this screen name because I always thought it would always be unlikely that a Hero (AKA a Mighty One) would be late, because if he was then he wouldn't be so mighty huh. Yeah I know, kinda corny. I have been reading WoT for several years now, after being turned on to it by my sister. I have read it several times and am reading it again. I also must confess that I write way to fast for my brain to follow so sometimes I either forget a letter or even a word. I do apologize in advance for that. Also I do use Firefox most of the time, so usually I …

*waves* Hiya, everyone! Yeeep, another new one to the forums. My name is Bhargavi and I am quite hooked on the WoT series thanks to my loverly husband. My father raised me with an appreciation for fantasy novels and our four year old daughter is quite taken aback with dragons, so I think it's spreading. *winks* I'm currently working my way through Book Seven and probably would have finished the series had we not moved from Ohio to Los Angeles in September. Aaaanyhow, just wanted to say hello! I'm heading over to the RP forums in a moment, as I'm an avid roleplayer and have been working on a storyline involving Sarille. Can't wait to get to know everyone h…

Ok, so I never was a part of the whole dragonmount thing. However, these books where my life blood in high school (mid to late 90's). I got midway through LORD OF CHAOS and then life took over (unfortunately). Hearing about Mr. Jordan's death has actually brought me back to the series and I'm now just delving into THE GREAT HUNT. Hope to catch up with you all, but honestly I'm just going to enjoy the ride. I'm starting to realize that there was much that went over my head the first time around. These books are seriously awesome! I'm married, finishing my undergrad (finally!), looking for job, and in search of some WOT buddies.

Hello all you people out there! I'm a lover of WoT and a huge fan of RJ. Ummm I live in Canada, I'm a aspiring podcaster (soon to be an actual podcaster!) and a avid reader. I decided to reread WoT when I hear RJ pasted away, and as this is my second read through the series I am really loving it, I never saw how deep it was and just how awesome it is. I hope to contribute to the forums as much as I can! That me! Peace!

Hiya folks, nice place ya got here nowdays :D. Must have been years since I came by last time but thought I should drop by and say hi with all memories of this place, I specially remember those ol boards that kept breaking down with a kinda hate-love fondness(Must been around 2001, give or take a year as I cant remember) ;D. Still seeing some of the ol people around thought im not 100% if its the same ones. Used to play a Warder by the name of Denethor, bonded to an Aes Sedai of the name of Reile Tarkene if I remember correctly. For those members I do remember: Good to see your still around Karana, long time no see. And Kathana and Matalina, never really …

Hello new and old, This month my round is a bit different from other months as I have 2 special announcements to make. One for the past and one for the future. Which is perfectly fitting as we are moving towards the time where both timelines are high in our minds and memories merge with hopes. In my siggy below you find a link to the latest published Hornsounder, which was created in honor of our beloved Author, Sir Robert Jordan. Many special and wonderful pieces have been submitted by DM members for this edition. The second part of my message is the announcement of and invitation to join in on the Hornsounder's Big Holiday Project, which àll DM members…

Hello there! I just wanted to come by and say hi to those who knew me back in the day (if anyone is left!), and give my condolences. I don't remember my Aes Sedai's name, but, she was the onetime leader of the black Ajah, and I also had an Ogier named Caylith. I mostly RP'd. Anyway, my condolences, and take care.

Hello, I've been a fan of the books since I was a teenager. I'm 30 now, so.... Long time. A bit about me. First, I literally live on Dragonmount. Sounds odd, but I live in the Yongsan district of Seoul, South Korea -- the direct translation of Yongsan from the Korean language is "Dragon Mountain". My hobbies: Photography and 2D/3D art and animation. I use Lightwave 9.3, Modo 301, ZBrush 3.1, Vue6: XStream, Photoshop CS3: Extended, Painter IX, Combustion 4, Project Messiah: Workstation 2.5, Vegas Pro 8, and Acid Pro 6 to do.... absolutely nothing! Okay, so it has been a while since I've done anything animation-related, but maybe I can again someday if mot…

Hi There, I'm Ted, I was here a while ago but somehow I got lost in the waste. Anyways i'm an artist and a wot junkie. I had a pic used in a RJ Get well soon project done by Matalina? i think it was. I'm still upset at RJ's passing and i'm using art to get through some of it. I hope to post some of it here soon. May you always find water and shade. Ted.

Hi everyone. I've been reading RJ since about 2002, and like many I was shocked by his death. I've popped into Dragonmount from time to time over the last few years and think I may have register once before. I found out about RJ's death abouth 30 minutes ago. I decided that the best way to celebrate all the things I've enjoyed over the years from his books, was to get to know other fans and continue my love affair with the world he created. His books have provided me with an escape when I desperately needed one. Thanks for having me. - D

Hello again everyone (cancelled the last account and started a new one with a better user name. One more fitting to the environment.) I am a long-time WoT reader, having bought my first copy from a cardboard promo stand in 1990 when EotW was first published. I have been an avid reader all along. I had only previously used the RJ blog pages to keep up with him, his status with his illness, and his status with the completion of the final book. I just now found out about his passing and sadly join you all in saying goodbye to my favorite author of all time. I look forward to the insights and observations I expect to be reading on these boards.
