Hello all, I was looking at the Welcome thread and decided to make a "new person" thread. Well, I've been reading The Wheel Of Time for about 3 years, but I think I'm going to do yet another re-read some time soon as prolonged lurking at this forum proved to me how inattentive I am... I'm 15 years old, and my life basically consists of music and literature. Well, new to Dragonmount forums, but I am a citizen of TarValon.net. I figured I would expand my horizons. I've read all of RJ's books, and many of them twice. I love them all. I live in South Carolina, USA (very close to where RJ resides I might add) and I am looking forward to being a part of this online community ;D

*waves timidly* I've been doing WoT stuff at DragonCon for the past three years, and every year, people try to talk us into joining the boards here. I figured I'd break down and do it. :) For those who were at Con, I was the Sea Folk and the girl Asha'man (who wasn't Muirenn). My partner was the long-haired blond Asha'man (aka Twitchy). Hello! I have finally decided to climb over the fence! I have been a Wheel O' Time fan since around 2000. I am just starting a second read of the series - and cannot believe how much I missed on the first go-round! I have read all the books a few times and even RP with my friends from back home before joining the military. I miss the WoT commroderie, so I decided to register. I can't wait to experience the differences between RP in person and online.

Hi I registered with these forums a little while ago so I thought it was about time I posted a quick Hello and introduced myself as I dont recal doing so when I joined. I've very new to the WoT series - I've been "reading" them since May this year when I got an ipod and realised you can buy audio books! At the moment I'm about 3/4 the way through The Shadow Rising. I'm disapointed that I've been unable to find The Path of Daggers on audiobook - but I live in hope that I'll find it - and I have a little way to go before I need to worry about it! If I can't then I'll just have to pick up a real book and plough through that! I'll probably lurk quite a bit…

Used to like reading WoT. Got bored by most things after ACoS and couldn't be bothered properly reading CoT. However KoD is much better and has perked up my interest once more so I've returned and am interested in AMoL. I like thinking up theories and discussing them. I think Graendal killed Asmodean (though I no longer like discussing this one in particular). As for ones that are my own (or so I think), is that: a) Serving the Dark One is not necessarily morally bad (that's the first thing I posted because I think it's the most interesting) b) The 'Wheel' of Time is better represented by a spherical (ball of yarn) c) At a purely quantitative level based on …

Hi, I'm new so I posted on the New Members page...as you can see. :D I've been reading tWoT books for 5 months, and read them 3 times now with a slight stop in the middle to read the Harry Potter books again in time for no. 7. I've also read New Spring twice, but I didn't like it as much as the main series. My favourite characters are Mat and Birgitte, and my favourite book is either KoD or tEotW, but the whole series is the best I've read EVER! ;D I've been looking at this forum for some time but only registered a few days ago. The training is rather intense with this company.
