I'm Gary, i just joined the forums. I love the Wheel of Time books. I think Jordan should just have his mind sucked out and put in a computer so he can make books faster  ....hmmm....where did he say he lived again... lol.

Hey there everyone! I am going to run a Heroes-themed mafia game on the Seanchan boards (as indicated in the title). If you've ever played Mafia you may wonder how it works on message boards, the best way to find out is to play! (or perhaps to come watch other people play :) ). It's a really good way to meet some new people and to participate in the community. Because the Seanchan is DM's Entertainment organization I figured it'd be appropriate to link it Heroes! You can play the game even if you've never heard of the show (I've only watched a few episodes). There's only room for thirteen players, so if you want in sign up fast! http://www.dragonmount.com/for…

Hi All, I am new here, my name is Marlene, but you can call me hazel if you like. I live in Spokane Wa. I am a seamstress and work in a bridal shop. I would like to join in the discussions of the WOT books. I have all eleven and read them all. I hope that Robert Jordan is doing better, I was very sad to see he has been ill. My prayers are with him and his family. I hope he is working on book twelve, I just finished KoD. I enjoy reading all types of fantasy fiction. From Star trek to Star Wars, and all the fantasy worlds out there. I also enjoy gaming on the computer and on my Playstation and Gamecube. I have two cats and a fish tank. HELLO EVERYBODY!! I enjoy the site I really do. I've read the books many times. and they are in a sad state. I always have trouble with binding, and think Tor should be spelled Tore. Look I'm embaressed to say it but, I get real confused when you guys try to explain about sigs and avatars. How do I get them? Ask for them you say. But ask who, and is there a cost? What do I ask them? Where are these ppl and who are these ppl I'm suppose to ask? How do they know what to make? HELP ME I AM SO CONFUSED? I hate to sound stupid, but this is all new to me. Tell me what to do step by step in regular english. Tech stuff really confuses me. Poetry, History, and Philosph…

Hi, people. My name is Jael, but I go by the name Rhoswen. I recently found out about the WoT and am now reading Lord of Chaos. And while searching stuff about the WoT I came across Dragonmount, so that's how I ended up here. I loveee Roleplaying, which is what drew me more into this forum as well! Random things about me: I turn 19 in two hours. I hate carrots. I love chocolate cake (which I'm having in two hours, too! yum). I'm rather crazy x] (I blame it on being an aquarian). As for which Ajah I'd choose (which is something people ask me every time I vaguely mention I am reading the WoT), I'm stil waiting until I finish with the books that are out so f…

Hi all, Just wanted to say hi. The name is Michael. I've been putting off reading WOT for almost ten years (since I first started seeing those commercials for the Wheel of Time Guide on television). Finally started getting around to it. I read New Spring and finished that and now I am starting The Eye of the World. Look forward to chatting! Michael

Hola mis amigos, Hey everyone, I was here under a different account name about, half a year to a year ago, but uhhh, I forgot my password I had just changed to, and then I rubbed a mod the wrong way(entirely by accident I might add), so when I tried to get myself another account, things didnt really work.... Well, anyways, Hello, and I'm glad I can still recognise some members, such as Alys, and I think Egwene was still a member when I was around. =) :D

This is new to me....But here goes. What a fantastic world we live in!..Where we can not only send our well wishes to one of the funkiest people in the world, but also chat to others who share RJ's world and relate so inimately with his characters. I am looking forward to meeting many who love the world of WOT. I live in Melbourne Australia, have travelled the globe extensively in my time, now am busily raising 2 delightful children and working full time. My heart goes out to RJ and his family, but from what I have read of his blogs....he is an inspiration! Regards Real1 :)

So I'm definately new to dragonmount. I've kept tabs on RJ's blog, but haven't registered on the forums. Well, I finally gave in. My normal online alias is KillerMonk, but I didn't really find that very fitting for such a forum as this, as it doesn't sound like any sort of real name, so I chose a new alias. Mègon is my new name, it's a spin off of the hebrew word for guardian (me'von). I used an accent in my name rather than a '... hope I picked the right one for the right sound. To introduce myself. I've read the series twice, all of the books including New Spring, as well as a WoT dictionary of sorts, with a lot of interesting insights by RJ in characters an…

New to these boards but not to WoT; been reading since 1998 or so when I was 14. I guess you could say I am a long-time fan. ;) I was a bit disappointed at the direction the series took with WH in 2000, so I didn't actually pick the series back up until last August; re-read all the way from Books 1-11 and the New Spring. My favorite characters are Moiraine, Egwene, Nynaeve and Mat, but I suppose those are popular choices. I have been lurking on the forums for a while, and I love reading the different theories. So, I'll post my own thoughts sometime. ;) A bit about me...I'm 22 years old, live in Florida, and work as a substace abuse case manager/counselor at m…

Heya all. I just registered (hence the post) and am looking forward to getting into Dragonmount. I've been a fan of the series for a long time and used to post a lot on the old Legend book forum. Anyway, hopefully I'll find time between work and class preparation to do some fun stuff here. Cheers!

I am a long time sci-fi/fantasy reader, rp'er and renn fest attender. Am I setting off any geek alarms yet? I fought long and hard for many years to avoid the wheel of time, but finally picked up Eye of the World in 1998. I am currently reading Knife of Dreams now and am about 500 pgs in. I am prone to fits of Irish pride now and then, (hence the sn) and I'm also a closet College Football fan (Geaux Tigers!) More if anyone is interested upon request. May you always find water and shade, Len

Does seeing the aftereffects of a Trolloc raid fill you with a sense of pride? Do you feel that the Light is for those who can't afford the shade? Have you ever found yourself cursing that sheepherder that keeps getting in the way of your plots? Do you have friends whose blank stare has less to do with their exhaustion and more to do with their lack of eyes? Well, then, my friend, I've got the place for you! We at the Shayol Ghul Roleplaying Division have a longstanding tradition of nastyness, evil, and downright not-niceness. And we're looking for a few not-so-good men and women to further the cause of the Shadow and fight for the Great Lord! Feel free to join …

I've already met a good bit of you here, but I thought I'd go ahead and throw out a formal greeting to the rest of you. I'm Daniel, I have a character named Fior who is a new trainee at the Warder's Yard (you may or may not have heard something about him... I hear tell he caused a bit of a stir *winks*) and I'm thinking about other ideas for characters. Would love to meet you and chat about RP, the books, or just life in general. Feel free to send me a PM or reply here. May the light shine on you all. ~Fior Canain, Tower Guard Trainee

As a fan that has lived with active cancer, liposarcoma, for 11 years, I've decided to write to thank you for your entertaining Wheel of Time series and to wish you the best with your fight against Amyloidosis. Not sure if this message will reach you but if it does, may it provide hope. I have undergone 8 painful thoracic operations to remove metastic tumors from my lungs. Fighting for survival is most important, as important as the surgeons scalpel. Concentrate on the reasons for living, things as simple as waiting to finish your last book and those of King's Gunslinger series. These have helped me. As simple as it seems, your books, coupled with the other positive…

Hi there everyone ! Well, I'm new here, was checking somewhere when a new WOT is to be published, came across this link, and here i am. I've never role played or anything before, but i'm concidering it here - it looks like so much fun ! well, in RL i'm a rental administrator in Cape Town, South Africa. i'm not bonded, have no children (apart from my 3 cats) and i can just about keep a chilli plant and a few african violets alive - indoors, that is ... hehehe i read ... and read ... and read ... and sometimes work :) when on here, i'll be like an indicator - it's on, it's off, it's on, it's ... you get the message. i can only get online at work, and on…

Greetings and salutations! Even though I have read WoT for several years I haven´t real looked for any sites dedicated to this amazing world that Mr Robert Jordan has created for us all to enjoy. I have to admit that I have read the books in swedish, I think that the translators have done a very good job with the swedish translation although some terms and names of organizations take some time to get used to, but most is pretty straight forward and don´t cause any real problems. :D On a little sidenote. In Sweden they publish 2 books per every one released in english. I guess the go by the premiss: Double the money, double the fun. But I don´t mind that …

Hello everyone. I'm new to these boards or perhaps, given the size, I should call it worlds. I'm not so new to RJ's writings, having discovered the Conan series several years ago. The Wheel of Time is a different story - that I started into about 9 months ago - just finished Book 11 a few days ago - and now it looks like a long wait before Book 12. :( Once I find my way around here, I'll hopefully be posting more.
