Hi Everyone, Long time fan and reader of 11 of the WoT books, waiting for A Memory of Light for christmas. Now I have contacted serveral sites with no responses so I thought I would go one short of contacting RJ himself and post on this forum. I know along time ago a game was created by Legend in 1999. Myself and a University freind are seriously (and I mean seriously) considering attempting to create a WoT MMORPG (obviously we would need permission to do so) as a commercial venture to present to a large studio (EA etc) next summer. Basicly the only doubt or question we have at the momment is if we make the book (the main story) into a playable one player …

A quick suggestion... I have seen in a few places where admins have said avatars/siggies are too big, but I see a problem arising from this. What happens if the DM member doesn't sign in for a few days and weeks, and the post on which the avatar/siggy wassaid to be big has been posted on? What are the likelihoods of someone wading through post after post? Therefore, isn't it more logical to PM the member with the problem? I suggest this for a few reasons: 1. The post about the avatar/siggy being too big won't be lost due to posting. 2. Admins might not get complaints about posting such threads when a discussion was in full flow. 3. When the member signs in n…

...Dain, not to be confused to Dain Bornhald the White Cloak. Dain happens to be my own name as well. I just finished the 11th book two days ago and managed to shed a tear that there would be no more books for some time. Anyway I loved each and every book, including the New Spring Novel (which I read between book 10 and 11). I don't know if it is the last several months talking or if the Wheel of Time series is actually my favorite series of books ever. So while I wait for the next book I've decided to write a little of my own, this would be the first time I've done actual writing. I'm more of a visual artist, and my grammatical skills are lacking. I've run my …

34 years old guy from finland. I can't tell how many times i have read WoT books, cos' it so numerous. Usualy all the time thant im not on work, playing, too drunk to understand letters or doing something with my woman(i wonder what). So much to read and so many things that i may like to say, so don't get annoyed if i write something that is already there.

Hello everyone! My name is Sa'sara, and as you can probably tell, I'm new here. I would love to get to know people here (None of my friends have my intrests). I am currently reading The Path of Daggers, or TPoD as you probably call it. I'm on page 104, but I "accidentally" looked at the end of the book, so I know a little more.

Just finished The Eye of the World and I'm hooked. I only started avidly reading fantasy books about two months ago. Read the The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Harry Potter series but that was about it for a long time. Then I found out about The Inheritance trilogy and i've been reading as many fantasy books as i can since then. Loved the TWOT and i look forward to reading the next ten books as quickly as i can. I'll be here quite often and i'm sure i'll get to know many more of you who have the same affliction for great books.

Hi there My name is Jason. I'm the guy who runs this site, and the guy you can yell at when it goes down. Although it sounds a little corny at times, I really apreciate each and every new visitor who decides to show up and register. I don't always have the time to post here on the forums, or welcome everyone, but if I could, I definiitely would. Please enjoy these forums, as well as the rest of the website, and send me an email or PM if you ever just want to say hi. May you all find water and shade. Jason

Thought I would drop by and say hello. I have been checking things out for a few days and wanted to say an official hello on the board. I am planning on eventually joining an org, but I am currently undergoing the stress of finals. I am also rereading the WoT to rekindle the love I have for all of RJ's characters. Maggie
