Hi, I'm new and actually I just decided to try New Spring this march or so. I liked it so much I acquired the other books on Audible(audiobook download site). I've read every one except Crown of Swords and A Path to Daggers. I'm visually impaired so I prefer audiobooks but I can read. However, I don't think I could read anything that long. I do have a screen magnification and screen reading program but please be patient if I ask about your pictures and stuff. Thanks. I've listened to all the books and will listen to the other two when they come out. Don't worry though, no matter how many spoilers I see on those two, I will get them. Joe[/b]

My name is Storm Eagle, and I absolutely adore the Whel Of Time series. I am in the beginning of Path of Daggers at the moment, so please don't reveal any spoilers for poor old me! P.S. I am writing a book at the moment entitled The Wave Sword. I have taken it to a fantasy critic magazine and they say that If I get it published, it might surpass WoT.

It was borrowed, you see, and I had to return it. Now I own all of them. I've reread the entire series leading up to the release of each new book. Anyway, that's me and I'll be around.

I seem to recall poking around here reading a few things in the distant past, but didn't really have time to join or do much of anything. Suddenly months - maybe years - later, I stumble across the site again (or rather, a new prettier version of it) and think "Huh, I've been looking for a way to kill time." And on the day I picked up a WoT book for the first time in ages, no less! That's a strong enough portent to convince me to register. I look forward to meeting you all. Except those who I won't like. I don't look forward to meeting you. Just kidding. I like everyone. Well. Mostly. :P

Hello all. I'm CrimsonRayn. Though I'm a new member, I've been a fan of Jordans work since the onset of The Wheel of Time. I currently am a collector of his works, particularily in this series. I hold 8 (eight) first editions, including a recent acquire of The Eye of The World. I'm very excited. Though I am at odds with myself. I'm having trouble destinguishing if the books I have a true first editions. I don't know how Tor identifies them. I think I'm correct, but I'm just unsure. Plus, some of my first editions are "First Trade Edition". Now what does that mean. I paid for a first edition and this is what I got. If anyone has any information on how to identify …

Well I ran into this website and it looked interesting so i thought id hang out for a bit and see if it catches. Ive always wanted to talk to someone about the book im reading at the time and see if they had the same reaction as me or not. Im currently reading Lord of Chaos (80 pages or less) and so far the series has been amazing. I picked it up last year from a kid in my school and started to read and it hooked me since. I just finished reading KoD...Can't wait for the next book... :) I've always wanted to join DM but I've been very busy and my Pc was giving me problems...I just registered today and I look foward to having a good time here at DM... :) I have read a lot of posts here and I'm very impressed...most here at DM have vast knowledge about WoT... I still have a lot of questions unanswered about WoT...hope some of you can help me there... I had recommended WoT to some of my friends and they are all but crazy about it right now-though some of them have abandoned the Light -but I'm the only one to have read KoD... Greetings folks, I'm another Wheel of Time fan. I've read the series 4 times now, eagerly awaiting a 5th (silly college takes up too much time you know). Never really had alot of time for discussion, but I thought I would give it another go. I was on an emailer for a while, but 100 emails a day was a bit much for me to keep up with. Hi my name is Jacob I am 22 year old from OHio,USA. I started reading WOT like 2years ago and just now am half-way through book 2...lmao....but I do love the series and I am buckling down reading it more and more...I already have book 3 ready to go...I am very iffy about poking in and out of these forums though because I do not want any spoilers so I'm gonna have to be careful. So, though I've gone to Dragon*Con since '92, this past year was the only time I ever attended the WoT track. (Mostly because I didn't start reading the books until about half a year ago. I can blame Marrow Rahien for intimidating me with all those pages while we were in middle school.) I rather enjoyed the one panel I attended - Aes Sedai vs. Asha'man - and decided to create an account here after questioning Alin about it after the panel.
