Hello Wheel of Time fans, I just joined this forums, after reading all of the WOT books. I've loved those great beauties for eight months, and I am almost done with New Spring. Anyway, as you may have guessed, Morimat is my spirit animal. I googled Morimat (for the one-hundredth time) and results came up. Unfortunately they did not credit my glorious invention, so I made an account for it. Anyway, I hope to have a great time on the forums and k can't wait to get started.

Hi everyone! Been lurking around here for a while, and I finally got around to joining. I first started reading the books about 3 years ago when I needed something to read whilst commuting to university, and I ended up getting completely hooked on them. Looking forward to exploring the site properly and getting to talk about WoT with other fans. :-)

Hi. Been a member since 2012, but been a bad, bad Owenaleah with not posting. I vow to change that. I've been reading the books since the early 90's. When the last book came out, kinda felt like my world came crashing down. Just went to the book signing for the companion and Jason Denzel's book, Mystic. Really restored my hope. Now to get used to navigating site.

Hello! So basically I started reading the series a while back, but before I could make any real progress with the Eye of the World exams kicked in and I didn't really have time for recreational reading. Over the summer though I returned to the series and have just started reading the Fires of Heaven. I like to talk with others about my favourite book series' but unfortunately none of my friends have discovered the wheel of time yet. Would love the opportunity to discuss the series but I don't want spoilers :)

Bonjour, everyone! Some people know me as Cadeyrn but I really do prefer to be called Ryn. I hail from Australia, Sydney to be precise ad therefore I am a New South Welshman. Currently I'm reading the fourth chapter, Twilight, of the fifth book in the series, The Fires of Heaven, and though I wish I could hold the actual book in my hands (nothing can beat that) I have to be content with reading the ebook. *sighs* I use French in my speech sometimes and a time comes now and then when I'm using French for every second word (just exaggerating), normally because I've just been practising for my lesson or because my lesson just finished. Aye, I'm still learning. …

Hey there, I've been a fan of WoT ever since '11 when I randomly read New Spring on impulse. Ever since then I've been hooked, sadly I just found this website but I hope to be here for a long while.

I made this account a long time ago but don't think I ever posted on it. I'm finally continuing the series that I started back in 2005 or so when i was 16! I've took several years hiatus in between shadow rising, fires of heaven, and just now ready through lord of chaos in about 2 weeks. O.O I hope to continue my fast-paced reading throughout the rest of the year and finish this series finally, and in the mean time would love to be a part of this community. I'm interested in learning to do some roleplay, never really done that. And am looking forward to general WoT discussions as well! :D

Hey there! I first picked up Eye of the World back in 1991. I've followed this series like a religion until the very end. Many of my friends and other Fantasy book enthusiast that I knew gave up after like book 7, I still kept my faith. I love this series. I love the world that Robert Jordan created. I love the characters. I think Brandon Sanderson did a great job of completing the story. I admit, I haven't followed Dragonmount every often since A Memory of Light. Actually, I haven't really followed any of the fan sites since Wotamania went down. But I have to say I miss it. I miss all of it. And I feel sad and disappointed that this thing Robert Jo…

I liked these books so much that I went and became an Aerial Gunner just like Robert Jordan. How is that for being a fan?

Just wanted to drop in and say "hello". Long time visitor of the site but never really found a reason to join , until now . I have read the books a few times (maybe more) and have come away with a lot of questions that remain unanswered . So I thought I would pose a few of them every now and then to others who share my love of RJ's world and the characters he has created .

Hey all, Currently re-reading the series (much more carefully than before) and while reading up a bit on certain characters (Queen Tylin :P), decided to sign up! First started reading the Wheel of Time sometime in high school (at that point, it was up to Knife of Dreams). Loved every bit of it, got a few friends interested but they only got to about book 3 before succumbing to other pleasures of life (e.g TV :P ) I'm currently doing my Honours year in Chemistry at Monash University so reading time is limited to when I'm on the train unfortunately. Hope to post a bit around the forum!

I'm not really sure if this is how to start a new thread thing, but I'm gonna try anyway because I'd like to introduce myself. I was introduced to the books by a patient of mine last year and I just finished the series as a first time reader. I hadn't read a book in years as sad as that sounds. One morning I was talking to my patient about the latest GoT episode and he rolled his eyes and told me I should read The Wheel of Time. It wasn't the first time he'd mentioned the series. I finally caved and bought the first book on Amazon. It took me a couple of months to get past the first couple of chapters and I felt like I was forcing myself to read it. I'd go see my patient …

My name is Beck! I love to play Mafia so that's what I'm here to do. I believe you all know Cory and Chris, they're the reason I'm here. I don't know anything about Dragonmount unfortunately so I don't imagine myself venturing very far outside of the Mafia section, but who knows. I come from a small community called NovoCiv and also play at Mafia Universe. Looking forward to spending some time here! I'm pretty open so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

I found this place through someone I know elsewhere being a member here, and thought I'd join. Admittedly, I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying the WoT series, but I hear I'm not the only one with that lack here. Well, nice to meet you all, and I hope to enjoy my time here. ^-^

G'day all just a quick hello and intro. My name is Paul and i live on a small farm is Victoria Australia, I'm 39, married, have 2 kids and we have a myriad of animals & pets. I was a bit of a late comer to the series as I only started the Eye of the World in early 2012 and finished the series with A Memory of Light followed by New Spring in mid 2013 (all via Audio Books). I came across the series with a friends recommendation as I was in a gap in the Game of Thrones series. Like many, the WoT series has been a bit of a life changing experience for me and I often feel like I carry a small part of the books & characters with me at all times. After a bit of a bre…

I've been an obsessed fan of the works of James Oliver Rigney, Jr. A.K.A. Robert Jordan, his pen name. Like many of you I've been a fan of fantasy for some time. It all started with J.R.R. Tolkien with The Hobbit and later The Lord of The Ring's trilogy. It was in April 1990 that I received a hard backed book named "The Eye of The World" for my birthday. This brought me down the quite solid and well written path of Mr. Jordan's works. The sudden and amazing burst of action and adventure rife in the book with a very professionally written prose. that came with that novel. Hungering for more when they became available. I was hooked for life. I imagine there are others…

Hello everyone, my name's Steve and I'm currently a college student. I have one friend who's read the series, but I wanted to join a place where I could discuss the series with a lot of people and this appears to be the place. Right now I'm about 90% done with Lord of Chaos, and I'm addicted/obsessed with this series. Since I'm not done with the series yet though I don't know how much I will be on here until I do so, want to avoid spoilers. But I at least wanted to make a introduction. I do have a question though, when is the best time to read the two shorts? Does it not matter, should I wait after specific books, or wait until after finishing the series?

Hello, all. New here and wanted to introduce myself to the board. My real name is Kevin, but on the web and to certain friends I am generally known as Sasquatch. I've been reading the Wheel of Time series for about six years now, though sadly I'm nowhere near as far along as I'd like to be. I'm currently on the last three chapters of Book Five: The Fires of Heaven. I love this series for its character dynamic, witty dialogue, scenes of action, and the sheer epic scope that it takes on (among many other things of course, but these are probably my favourite aspects). But despite these positive qualities, there does come a point where I feel I'm struggling to get through cer…

Hello all. Hermit is the name. I started the Wheel of Time series on January 2015 and right away felt committed to finishing the series before the end of the year. I've heard a lot about this series but my "To-Read" list is so long that it took we a while to actually get to it. Right now I am about to finish The Dragon Reborn. I'll be around... Peace.
