Hi there, I'm a long-time fan who's been visiting Dragonmount off and on for a while now, but decided I finally needed to join to try to fill the time over the next few weeks while I wait for AMOL. I'm originally from the U.S. but recently moved to Cambodia (and wondering how and when I'm going to get a copy of the book). Can't wait.

Hi all , i've been lurking around Dragonmount for years ever since i started reading TEOTW back in 2001, i'm from Sydney Australia, earlier this year i decided to get back into the Wheel of time after dropping off the series about half way through knife of dreams ( too large a gap between me reading the last book and Knife of dreams made me forget all the plot lines and a lot of things started going over my head) I am now speeding through Knife of dreams with 2 books left to go until the final book and i am so excited to finally see what happens to favorite characters :D

I've been an avid fan for a few years now. A friend from my knitting group introduced me to the books when I asked on Facebook about what everyone was reading. Since then, I've ben obsessed. We even renamed our knitting group The Knitting Circle. When I wasn't sure on pronunciations (and knew RJ was a stickler for getting them right), I got the audiobooks and listened to them, sometimes while reading along. I've lurked on DM and other sites or posted anon, but I mostly stayed offline until I finished the books to avoid spoilers. Even at that, I think I had most of the big news ruined by the few attempts I made to look up something on a character or my friend would l…

Hello everyone. This is my first post. I got into wheel of time late last year. EOTW captivated me. Full of interesting characters and a world that felt very real, yet very vibrant. I bought into immediately. Am currently on my second read-through, and like the rest of you eagerly anticipating AMOL. I think the reason I am so into the series is because it's very, very ambitious. And because it's flawed. IMO its flaws are a products of its ambition and I would not have it any other way. All in all, I have not been so captivated by novels since... well I can't remember. I think the one friend I have who is a fan is getting a bit sick of me constantly making references to…

Hey there! I'm not new to WoT but I did just sign up today here on Dragonmount. I've been toiling away on another WoT site trying to keep it from dying off. (Not much luck there! sigh.) But, I digress...I'm happy to be here and finally have an account. Started reading the series in 1994...hooked ever since. Just figured out recently who Slayer really is. WTH! I'm kinda embarassed it took me so long. LOL. -Garrison Bain-

Hello All, I'm Torome, it is a name I have used for a long time in various video games, forums, and sites. I have been reading WoT since I was 15 and I am currently 26, so not the entire time the series has been out but for a good long while. I have read each book atleast 5 with the exception of Gathering and Towers, those two I have read 3. I have occasioned this site many times but never actually joined until now because I don't always enjoy hearing other people's theories since all too often they are right and I like to e surprised when the book comes out and I find if I'm right or not on my own. My proudest accomplishments were that for the Crossroads and K…

Hello everyone, I'm Arran! (I'm surprised this username wasn't taken) I've known of this website for some time now, so I think it's about time that I join in with the fandom! I'm from England in the UK and I'm 21 years old, I play guitar and piano and I have just finished a music production course at Music College. I hope to be here for quite some time as I love discussing The Wheel of Time, and I eagerly await the final installment in the series, as I'm sure you all do too! I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends!

Hey guys!!! So...the name is Lynchgrinch, from sunny Scotland and I used to frequent these parts very regularly a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away) but then i got pre-occupied being a missionary in Latvia for 2 years. Well....the good news is, I'm back!....the bad news is...I absolutely do not have enough time for a complete re-read before the aMoL release date! Sad days! Can't wait to get stuck back in to all the discussion/theorising that you DM'ers are so great at!

I was first introduced to the wheel of time when I was fourteen. I didn't even start with the first book so you can imagine how lost I was. I was introduced to WoT with LoC didn't even know it was a series cuz it had no cover but I couldn't put it down. I read the whole thing in twenty-four hours with non-stop reading. When I discovered it was a series I just had to read the rest and have been hooked ever since.

Over the years I've tried to collect a spreadsheet of all the character names, their titles, their origin or location and miscellaneous comments. I'm wondering if others would be interested in having access to it, and if so how would I make it available. David

I have read the forums for years, and was active on a different one, but never posted here. As AMoL nears, the itching has become unbearable and this forum has been serving as my mouth wash and NyQuil until I can hold that magical bottle of Jordan in my hands and feel the sweet intoxicating release of that which lies within. Anyways, thought I would stop lurking and throw a couple posts out, so hi!

Hi all, new to dragonmount been looking at this site since it began so thought I'd finally sign up. I began reading the series again in preparation for MoL's release but am finding it very hard to start from the beginning. My problem is that no matter how hard I try I just cannot picture the bumpkins that were Rand, Matt and Perrin. The journey they have made throughout the series has seen them grow so much that I found myself lol at rand being scared or the "black rider" in eye of the world. I'm going to stick at it but wondering if anyone else has found the same problem with starting from the beginning 17 years after reading it for the first time? Cheers Moss

Im new to this site but a long time fan of the series. I have one major question that i would love to see comented on. Instead of trying to compromise the integrity of these beautiful books by cramming them into movies, why not turn them into an HBO series like Game of Thrones? You can keep all of the discription and the detail. Think about it, a 20 episode season for 15 seasons. They should really consider it, it could be an amazing adventure!

I usually don't take part in online forums and such, but discovering that I have spent two hours reading on this one site has changed my mind :) Obviously, I eagerly await January 8th, (from now on, an official holiday/day of mourning in my house). May the light illumine you all, and Let the Jordan ride again on the winds of time.

To say the least, I've read the WoT books a lot. I believe between 6-9 times, since I had quite a bit of time in middle school. I first picked up the books in 5th grade, having been introduced by my father to the series. After that I reread the series once or twice a year until high school, and my dad and I continue to debate ideas theories and general topics on WoT. Funny little anecdote, my father let me read the series when I was so young due to nightmares I had regarding Ishameal's face on the spine art work of The Dragon Reborn. After incessantly pleading him to let me read the books so as to end my nightmares, he conceded and allowed my to begin.

"Ollo" everybody! Brand new to the series...well relatively... i am currently on book 4, but am absolutely IN LOVE with the series. I have always been looking for something better, more catching, more me...iv'e tried a good few writers, and series' but nothing has captured my full attention quite like WOT! Its more difficult to find the books in Cape Town, South Africa, and i actually stumbled accross a tattered book 1 by pure happenstance in my school library... with permission, i adopted the book, and am now on my way to owning the whole series.! I am so addicted, that i have not gamed in weeks, and i used to spend most evenings couped up in my room gaming online…

Hi there, I was on this site many years ago as well as a number of other WOT sites but unfortunately wasn't able to maintain a regular online pressence due to RL commitments. Now I'm back and ready to catch up on all the theorising and story-telling i've been missing as well as meeting some friends both old and new. The wheel turns and I have Returned. Aekold

I've been reading the series since 2000, had several rereads throughout the years. I've known about DM for a while and checked it out every now and then but since I was not into theorizing about what is happening or what is going to happen in the next books, I haven't registered. I know this site does not serve only THAT purpose but I was afraid that I would succumb into reading those theories and spoil myself the chance to enjoy the series as I have done so previously, on the off chance that one of the theories turn out to be true. Since time of theorizing and waiting is coming to an end very soon -somehow not soon enough and very, very soon in deed- I decided to joi…

Hello and let me say that I am very happy an RP community dedicated to WoT exists. I have RPed in the past as well as roleplay intensively while playing D&D. I love to write even if I do not think I am that great with writing in general. I do have a successful blog that is dedicated to satire like Onion.com. I can't wait to have the opportunity to start my story and integrate it with the community here. Not very good at introducing myself in Welcome forums but I will answer any questions you may have. I also need help with finding a biochecker. I found a help topic that gave a link to a current list of people who review such bios but the link was dead. If anyo…
