hey all! I was just online trying to figure out when the final book is coming out and I found this site. I'm really excited to find that there are people who appreciate the books as much as I do. I've been reading the books for about 13 years now and reread all the books with each new release starting at book 7. Cant wait for the conclusion. -Cheers SleepyDeath

I keep running across a reference to Glimmers as part of the WoT and it's making me nuts that I can't find it. Can anyone tell me if this is available in hard copy or if it's an eBook? Or if my mind is rotting away...??

Hey everyone, I started reading The Eye of the World 2 years ago, and since then I've already read the entire series through twice. I felt drawn into the story more than any other series has done in the past. I remember i used to think the Lord of the Rings was in depth, but boy was i mistaken. I saw these forums and thought it would be cool to talk to people who enjoy them as much as i do. The series has changed my life as I'm sure it has many of you, and i look forward to some great discussions!

I am very interested in starting another topic on Demandred and where people think he is (Shara? or Seanchan?). Demandred has always been my favortite forsaken but we haven't seen much of his POV in the books so far. I am sure the next book will involve a lot Demandred as he is the shadow's premier General. Personally i think Demandred is in Shara, preparing them for war. I did see an interesting post that he may be in Murandy... and admit this is a possibility... although i still lean towards Seanchan or Shara.

Hi, pleased to meet you all here. Ok never sure what to put on something like this, well been reading WoT series for the last eleven years now and loved every book, halfway through towers of midnight at the moment, however I just got modernised and I'm reading it on my new kindle :) however I think I will still buy the book itself just to keep the collection looking good. Cant wait to read the last book, but at the same time it will feel really sad to know that its finished if that makes sense. Any way take good care for now

Hello everyone, figured I would introduce myself. Im new to these forums, but I am currently on my... 3th? reread of the WoT series and am still loving it. Cant wait to meet everyone here and maybe get into the community abit. Until then, Lenlo EDIT: I failed at being able to count and type at the same time, resulting in me saying I read more than I actually have.

So with the event of E-readers and Audiobooks will the old paper and ink books go the way of vinyl records? Something kids look at say "what is that?!" What is your preferred way to experience the written word? Discuss

I relate to mat's scout and resident reformed horse thief. I'm a large man. I have an unorthodox riding style. What mat says of vanin has been said of me in relation to riding anything. Like vanin, I look as if I couldn't ride from here to town in a boxcar with the doors closed lol .......anyway hi folks. I've been reading and rereading the series since about '91. Its still weird to get together with old friends and discuss the books and talk of the characters like they're just more old friends that have been missed for longer.

I started WoT in August and finished ToM last week. Just got New Spring in the mail. I though I would move on to Hunger Games and Game of Thrones but might.decide to reread the entire series before moving on...I wish I knew for certain when MoL is due so that I can time my reading perfectly. This series is essentially my intro to fantasy and I love it!!,

Hello all, I'm a somewhat new, or old? reader(relative to you) of the Wheel of Time Series, started with the Crossroads of Twilight back when I was in my wee days as a preteen ( I think in middle school) and yeah, starting with the 10th book naturally lead me to having no idea what the blazes was going on, but fortunately I proceeded to read the 1st, and the 2nd, and so on. I'm twenty now, and I just recently read the 12th and 13th book for the first time after a hiatus prompted by Robert Jordan's death, and the impression that the series would never ever ever end (even when he was alive and putting about) The much faster pace of the new books as well as the fact…

Hello all! Just signed up for the forums and thought I would introduce myself. I started reading The Wheel of Time around 1993, and would reread the series when a new book would was released. I stopped doing that when Winters Heart was released, because I tried to read it right off and had forgotten what most of the minor characters were doing and who was was who, and decided to wait till they were all out, because I just didn't have time to reread them all, and I had stopped reading as often as I used to. About 3 years ago I decided I really missed sitting down and loosing myself in a good book, and the first thought I had was to wonder how close The Wheel of Time was…

Hello, I'm fifteen years old and a freshman in high school, and an avid fan of the book series. While I've contemplated joining a number of times, I've been too terrified to look around the site in fear of spoilers. However, as no one that I know my age reads these books, I've joined the forums looking to meet others who also love the books in the hopes of having some great discussions. At the moment I'm on Book Eleven: Knife of Dreams. I'd have to say Rand is my favorite character, though I dislike how stone-cold he is at the moment. The Aiel are my favorite people by far, and Aviendha may be my second favorite character. I run cross country and have an attractio…

Hi, my name is Seun. My full name is not easy to pronounce, as it is a tribal language that my full name is descended from. I am a native to this country. I have a speech impediment that I am trying to overcome, but I have some hobbies that I enjoy. I listen to music, most of the time for Christ and songs that mean something significant - like a fingerprint; and those from other countries. I cook food ranging from french toast to oatmeal. I have been mostly of a prayer person, as of this year. I like watching some old shows like Animorphs, even though I equally like game shows like Jeopardy. I do not like domestic violence or any of the other vices of this world. I try to…

Hi all. My name is Nikki. I am 29 - going on 18 - and I've been reading these books over and over for about 10 years! I am a mad reader of fantasy epics and my fave authors are Terry Pratchett, Melanie Rawn, J.R.R. Tolkein, George R. R. Martin and obviously Robert Jordan! I have just finished Towers of Midnight and I cannot wait to read A Memory of Light. I normally start reading the series again before the next book comes out so I can lead straight into the newest book. However, as I own all of the books in paperback, I may have to wait a while! =( I also love to write my own stuff, including fan-fiction, RPG and also try to get more ideas down for my own possible…

Hello to all...first time poster, longtime lurker. My relationship to WoT goes back to 1998, when I got all the books (up to that point, Path of Daggers I believe) for Christmas. I'm currently contemplating whether or not I have time for one last re-read before the end of this year...

Hullo all, I'm 13 (aged 30, just to avoid confuzzlement!) and I've been a WoT fan since stupid o'clock, so to speak. Currently having just finished my most recent readthrough (and thanking the Creator for my Kindle - what a difference to the commute not having to lug around a 1000 page hardback on the train!) and decided I wanted to talk to people about the series. I've managed to finally, after years of trying, talk my soon-to-be wife into reading the books (sidethanks to George R R Martin for providing an entry point to get her into epic fantasy), but she's only at TDR at the moment! In the same way fans of Friends think they're as funny as Chandler, I l…

Hi there, I'm actually an old RP'er come back to see if I still got what it takes. I used to play a lot on Dragonmount, but that was many years ago and I'm looking for a fresh start. A new bio, am probably starting in the White Tower with a nice novice bio. Take some classes, get to know my fellow RP writers and hope to have a lot of fun! As said, have been out of the game for years, so I'll take my sweet time in catching up on rules, story lines and getting to know the crowd. But any help on that is welcome. For those of you who remember Calliste, Dawn, Lyv or any of my old characters I'm not bringing any of them back. It might help to remember me though, hehe. B…

i have read all the books (of course) and i love the story, characters and the locations, i have been a lurker for two years here and in the various theory related pages. I have read some other fantasy but i am a slow reader who tends to take some time reading and also some time to get into new books, so i have not read half or a 5th of what i understand from reading posts of the reading habit and reading pace. I also have several theories of my own and speculations regarding WoT, or thoughts regarding characters. I think it is too little discussed the significance of Padan Fain who is one of the oldest (tine-line wise not age) characters in the series and on…
