Hi everyone, My name is Ebony and I am new here. I have been reading Wheel of Time for many years but have a hard time that find others that do. I did get my husband into reading it though. I have 3 kids Asia (14), Roman (10) and a little girl on the way named Aviendha :-). I look forward to have some people to discuss the Wheel of Time with.

Im new to DM, but I have been reading a couple of RP posts that I stumbled upon. I have been reading WOT since i was 16, about 9 years ago. It is about time for me to restart the series though! By far, my favorite characters are Mat and Perrin. They are just so cool! I love the way Mat is always so cool on the cover, but underneath he is boiling, especially about those 'flamin women'... lol. Perrin I have always admired for being completely devoted to his wife. Many people found him annoying in that respect, but I felt that it showed his love for her to never forget what his goal was all along. Anyway, i would like to join an RP group, and not sure which one to …

Hello DM. I have been reading WoT since 1996 and was hooked on page one of the prologue. I knew I was a fanatic the first time I had a dream about channeling the OP. Needles to say I was quit disappointed when I woke up and could no longer reach the source. A few years ago I told my kids a watered down summary of EotW for a bed time story one chapter a night for about a week. Any time someone is bold enough to bring up the subject of books they have read to me I recommend WoT. My first books were paperbacks and I read them until they fell apart. I have since replaced them with hardbacks and I have read them enough that some of them have fallen apart and been r…

Hello All! Well I stumbled across the first book in the Series a few months ago while searching for a new book to read. I was reading the Dredsen files by Jim Butcher and I just happened to grab the Eye of the World off the shelf at the book store. I saw that it was a thick book and had a lot in the series which was great considering I was looking for a something to really get into and this would do the job. Little did I now that this would be my most favorite of all time. I couldn't put the book down and I am now 3/4 done with the Great Hunt. I am always reading it every chance I get. I am just disappointed no one has made a movie over this!!! Well a little about myself.…

Hi Guys, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right section, but I couldn't find an email address. I'm the co-owner of a small company in Australia, we mainly trade online, but also do conventions & we are looking at expanding to retail stores. We've had some of our customers ask us if we're able to get your jewellery in for them, so I'm wondering if you do wholesale, what the terms & conditions are and if we could get the appropriate forms? Thanks for that & hope to hear from you soon, Becky, Shadow lurker.

I only heard about WoT about 2 years ago which is really sad as I am a big fan of this style. Reads like Terry Goodkind, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Brooks, Jim Butcher, and a few others are typically what I read. I have read all the WoT books at least once in the last year and am on my second sojourn listening to the audio books as college and work consume my regular reading hours. I am now a devoted fan of Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson and am both sad and excited to see the finale A Memory of Light.

Hi folks, My name is Eric and I am from Montreal, QC. WoT is certainly one of my favorite book serie and I am waiting anxiously for the next installment. I've discovered this epic story almost by accident, my dad had the first book and since I was out of books he gave it to me. I have been hooked since then. It almost became a family affaire since my sister, father and me are huge fans of this serie. See you around

My girlfriend has always been a huge fan of this series. Well I finally got around to starting Eye of the World less than 2 weeks ago and have literally not been able to put it down (almost finished with it already). So much for getting anything done other than wrapping this book up now. Looking forward to some great discussions on this board and becoming a huge WoT geek.. At this rate I'll have the whole series read by the end of this year. I can't believe I missed out on this one for so long! ~J

  16. Started by brujah,

Hello. What's going on World? Just started reading Book 11. Read Eye of the World probably 15+ years ago back in High School. Kept up with series for a while. As I started reading again after so long I couldnt remember a lot so I searched for a recap site, and also landed here. Id actually given up reading for a while. Then when the HBO Series Game of Thrones came on, I couldnt remember why it seemed so familiar. It was because I had read the first half of Game of Thrones many many many many years ago. So I read the first 4 books , and Im not spending 30 bucks on the new book until its cheaper. So I decided to finish this series(which of course is the best series ever). A…

  17. Where to begin? Ill guess ill start with my birth. I was born in what you guys call the "two rivers". Florence, South Carolina. A stones throw from charleston. That would be the first signs of the wheel weaving around me. The second? I don't really know. I guess it could have been one of the two times I met Robert Jordan. Back then, when I met him, I had no ideal who the man was at the time. "An author signing books" I thought aloud as I watched him at a book signing at a mall in North Carolina. Little did I know that the man I was looking at would have such a profound impact on my life. It wasn't until a few years later that I would actually hear about WOT. I was about 3…

Hello everybody I'm new to this forum but i very glad i found it. I have always loved the Wheel Of Time series, since i was kid. But i have never had anyone to discuss and talk with regarding the Wheel of time. The people that i usually spend my time with isn't really that kind of people that would read a book unless it isn't shorter then 50 pages. Haha. So hopefully i'l have a good time here. peace!

  21. Started by Quazie89,

Happy greetings, everybody! I'm a new member from Virginia. I've been a big fan of the WOT series ever since I bought the second part of the first book in the young adult format back when I was still in school, but that was way back before I knew it was actually a part of a much bigger series, so I had to go back and read them all when I was in high school. My favorite characters are Mat, Rand, and Lan.

Hi I'm Mhay. . i really love this series so much i think it was fate that brought me and WOT together. . i was in a bookstore near our place looking for a book worth reading when i saw EOTW (with it's original cover; the black one with the snake biting it's tail) i was so captivated by it's cover that i bought it. when i was reading the story i find it quite boring and i took me time to adjust to the way Robert Jordan wrote it( you see i'm a filipino, so i find it hard to understand some of the english word because its quite deep, but that's only AT FIRST) eventually i got used to how R. Jordan deliver the story. one day i just found myself enjoying …

  25. Started by Rand alSaurus,

Hey there folks! Long time lurker here, first time poster! I'm a huge WoT fan. Even though I was a late starter (less than 2 years ago), the series has had me from book 1. I'm currently on my first re-read, in TPoD now. My favorite books are probably LoC and WH. I am dying to get back to WH again... the cleansing was epic. Probably one of my favorite sequences in the whole series. The madness of all the linked Aes Sedai and Asha'man fighting forsaken (and we learn quite a bit about the forsaken present.. which is a very nice treat!), and in the middle of it all, Rand and Nynaeve on the ground-not appearing to be doing anything in particular-holding the access key…

Hello everyone I am Direwolf. What is so cool about an awesome series like this is that there are new readers every day. I came to this forum to talk about what I have read so far and read some theories. But I am scared that I will open something up and read a spoiler. Would it be to hard to set up a Section for each book? So when a new reader comes in and has just finished reading for 7 they can click on it without fear of spoilers. Just a thought

Hey everyone, I've known about DM for a while but I'm just now joining. Well, that's not really true, I joined a while back but I'm just now posting. I've read the entire series so far and I think it's probably the best fantasy series I've ever read. I do, and have, enjoy/ed Harry Potter, ASoIaF, and the Star Wars: EU. I also have an active tabletop roleplaying group that plays every week if we can manage it. We've even played some of the WOT tabletop game a time or two. So hello to you all. Hopefully I can integrate myself into the community a little bit leading up to the final book's release. Side Question: Anyone know if Read and Find Out is still operati…

Hello all, Not only am I new to Dragonmount and this is my first post, but this is my first ever post of ANYTHING on the net. Yep, I love WoT that much. To be honest, I don't know my way round very well, but thought I'd just jump right in and say hi. Growing up I've been an athlete. Playing sports were my life. However, when I was 16 I had a back injury in which the doctors told me I'd never be active physically ever again. Miraculously I beat the odds and was able to return to sports within a year. I tell you this because it was during my downtime with my injury that I discovered books. I learned there's more to life than sports. I now have a great car…
