I wonder if I can cause a ruckus with that title. I'm a big SOT fan and am now reading WOT and loving it too. The only reason I chose SOT first was because I saw the TV show..... anyways, hi. I'm loving eye of the world right now, has an epic feeling and is dark from the first moment, great!!

Hello all. Looks like I am among fellow fans of one of the greatest fantasy series of all time. I have come to share a song that I wrote and to read and/or see some of the creations that other people have done. I will be posting my song in the creative part of the forum. It's dedicated to the memory of Robert Jordan.

... for seven years, but don't tell my fiance, please . Yeah, and it happened to me when I was 16- just at the age when all real princesses should fall in love . Then, after reading WH, I fell for the man of flesh and blood, left home to became a history student and had a few years break in reading WoT, almost forgetting that passion... almost. About 10 weeks ago I read NS and... well, suddenly found myself totally obsessed with WoT again. So, my message for all English language folks here: do appreciate your english language sfuff. I am amazed how many WoT things is available in the US- books in different versions, ebooks with stunning covers, audiobooks...…

Hello To All..I have seen this site on the back cover of my books for some time and have finally decided to join. What a surprise to find out this site is also a pbp and so much more. I am looking forward to everything offered. I have laughed, cried, hated, over joyed, scorned vengeance and I am completely in love with this epic story. It will be a long aching year till the final book is released. I would feel honored to be able to join in with fellow admirers and write a story. Thank You So Much for this site. With Dearest Wishes and Bubbling Joy, Elishaba Corvainel

Hey everyone! I'm glad I was shown this website; it's good to know there are a lot of dedicated fans of the WoT and Robert Jordan. A little about myself: I'm an enlisted soldier in the U.S. Army currently deployed to Iraq. I started reading the WoT series about 8 years ago (I was 15 at the time), and have been reading and rereading the series off and on between then and now. I had a pretty long hiatus and hadn't read beyond Crossroads of Twilight for a few years even though I had purchased the Knife of Dreams. Couple of months back I noticed one of my team leaders reading the Eye of the World, and I asked him where he got it. He told me one of our LTs had give…

Well hello guys! Obviously I'm new! My name is Rose, I'm 25, I'm a silly French Canadian (apologies in advance for my bad English) and I've discovered the WoT only recently. I started reading the series 3 months ago and I'm already finished and awaiting AMoL! Some might say I read a bit too fast. I disagree; I think the series was way too addictive to stop reading it xD I need to start it again soon though... My favorite male characters are Mat, Perrin, and... don't kill me.... Gawyn? xDDD I have noticed that people on this board don't really like him. Well, I can understand. Actually, I have no valid reason to like him. It's just that the way I picture him in my …

Hello, I have been reading the WOT books for quite some time now and finally got the latest book as an early Mother's day present yesterday, along woth a whole day to myself to read it. Its amazing how everything all comes back to life so vividly, even when you have been away from the WOT world for quite a long time. Unfortunately I have no-one to discuss my love of these novels with, and felt really pleased to have come across these forums whilst searching for the publication date of the next book. I fear I may become a 'zero replies' statistic but they say you should face your fears - so here goes. I am intrigued about how you can actually enter the White Tower…

Hello everybody, As you can see I'm new on this forum, and I just thought I'd say hello. I'm from the Netherlands, and have been reading the WOT for 4 years (I know, not an Original Fan) and am still loving it. I am currently in my third reread. My favorite character is Mat (least favorite: Elayne)and my favorite book is The Fires of Heaven - I don't know why. I think it is absolutely wonderful there is such a big community here on this site, with so many fans from all around the world. Well, having done this, I'm ready to continue exploring the fora.

Hey, I've been reading these books for the past 10 years. I love this series, I actually started these when I was waiting for the next book from Katherine Kerr's Deverry series. I've visited this website quite a few times and wotmania as well and even more so now that I'm doing a re-read. I never really felt a need to add more to what was already out there, but I figured it would be fun just to participate a little. I love all the theories and discussions out there. Anyways, I'm currently on Lord of Chaos, one of my favorites I think. :)

Hi everyone, my name is Rishad. I'm a 20 year old Computer Science student. I'm into CG and Film and I hope I can make an animated fantasy short film one day. Currently working towards it. I loved the Lord of the Rings movies and watched them a couple of times right after they came out. At the time I was a kid and I tried reading the books as well. Somehow I found Tolkien a bit dry at the time and only managed to read some of Fellowship. About four years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to Wheel of Time and promised me that Jordan was a lot less "dry". So I gave The Eye of the World a shot and I loved it. I finished the book a couple of weeks before RJ passed away and …

G'day all. I am Senexx! I am Australian!! I have been reading WoT and re-reading it for years now. I couldn't possibly tell you when I started - mid to late nineties maybe. I re-read all the other books before I read The Gathering Storm. I flew through books 1-7 and struggled with book 8 but I made it and recently read TGS in a little over a week. It flowed smoothly. I'm male. My age is inconsequential. This time around I find quite an affinity with Egwene. Now that I have finished TGS I feel empty and I guess that is why I am here.

Well, here I am. After lurking in DM and WoTmania for several years, I decided to start writing... at last. I come from an ex-communist country and during my childhood there were simply no fantasy novels in the bookstores. My first touch with fantasy was with Bilbo Bagins... A comix of the Hobbit! And I totally loved it. Then the communism fell and in 1990, for my 11th b-day a friend of mine *knowing I was a bookworm and a book nerd* chose a random book from the shelf in the store and made me a present. It appeared to be no other than "The Fellowship of the Ring". Strangely, I had to wait 3 more years until I could find the other two parts translated and published. But…

Hullo! I've been reading the forums on and off for some time, and thought that it was about time to introduce myself. So, I'm from Fin(n)land, an english student, and at present doing my pro seminar (or BA essy for those not intimately familiar with the Finnish University terminology) on Watership Down. I've only read WoT through (well, through to book 10 or so) for 2 or 3 times now, witch seems too few by far, compared to others I've seen hanging arounf here. I'm up to date with the new books, too, but have read them only the once. I can only try to defend myself by admitting to a multitude of love-hate relationships with other series of books which demand my time. …

I just registered; I've been working my way through WoT for the first time and decided to check out what seems like a vibrant and fun community based around it. I'm about halfway into reading TFoH and enjoying it muchly. I've heard the series gets less interesting as RJ began dragging things out too long around this point, but I'm still having fun seeing what happens. There are several other novel series I'm in the middle of, so I have no clue when I'm going to fully catch up to everyone else!

Hey folks. Long time reader, first time poster. Read 1-11 four times through now, lost my copies of 4-7 and 9 & 10 in a move, but plan on picking them up soon. Have book 12 but ironically I like the series so much I'm nervous to start reading it. The anticipation is delicious and I'm afraid to see the series end. Surprised there haven't been more WoT games made. Have the WoT mods for Mount & Blade & Warband, and was disappointed full mods weren't finished for Oblivion and Rome: Total War. From Vancouver Canada, btw. Anyway, thanks for listening, glad to meet you all. :)

Hello fellow WoT fans! I've been looking for a place to come and get my WoT RP on for quite some time now. Actually, for the last 5 years!! The last WoT RP site I was at was The Shining Threads WoT RP group where I just joined for a couple of months before the site closed down. Bummer! I love the WoT books, and they have had me enthralled for the past 7 years or so, and they have inspired me and changed me in ways that I never knew books could! I am an avid fantasy fan, with my tied favourite authors being RJ and David Gemmell. I've just realised that Towers of Midnight came out last year!! So I grabbed it on Saturday and was finished it on Sunday. Now t…

So, first of all, to vent a little bit. The challenge question is quite annoying, because I dislike Perrin to the point that I didn't want to answer his name, and Rand would be too common (I'm a little OCD about not using common/popular things!) so I put in Matrim. Then, it said my answer was invalid, so I reread the question. Then I ran to my bookshelf, grabbed tEotW, and looked through it to see if Matrim was spelled with two t's. It isn't. Then I was wondering about it for awhile, tried spelling it with two t's anyway, then with two m's on the end. Finally, thirty minutes later, I figured I would try Mat. Of course that's the correct answer >.> Anyway, now th…

I'm retired (sorta) living in quite cool-in-the winter NH (USA) which means lotsa time to read. I just finished the first book on my ereader (Nook) a lot faster than I thought after learning it was 760 pages long. Maybe that's just the ebook version. Anyway, I really enjoy SF/fantasy epics and wasn't sure what to expect from tEotW (think I got that right). I did see a few sequels when I got Book 1 but just found out after finishing it that there are 12(?) more and the last few are not authrored by Robert Jordan (who must be waiting for the next turning of the wheel). I will have to say the book is well written and very detailed. Having seen seven decades, even from m…
