Hello, hello, Nice to join you all. I am Turtle, first time poster, long time fan, moderate time member. This is my first foray into the forum wilds, but I'm liking what I'm reading. I intend on visiting more often as time (work) allows. Until then, Be well, and be weird.

I posted earlier in a different forum, but I am a 42 year old dad on his third time through WoT, but the first time getting past book 10. I am excited to learn how it ends finally. Between a full-time job and taking care of two kids when my wife works, I am relying on the audiobooks and it has been a game changer since it is much easier to listen to a book than read one when holding an infant! Let's see - I have always been a Perrin fan. Faile drove me nuts until this time through. I am starting to notice the way that Jordan writes about women in a different way than he writes men. Back in the day. When my back and knees didn't hurt I read book 1+6. Nowadays on my second attempt I am about 500 pages through crossroads of twilight. Loving it so far, fearing the end. Can't wait for the show.

Hi, I come from Czechia and am currently on my first read - shout out to Daniel Greene who convinced me via his YT videos (along with Merphy Napier + the fact I respect and love Brandon Sanderson from afar though I've never yet read anything by him and obviously the series was really important to him). Howdy all. Long time fan of the novels looking to learn more in the lead up to the TV show release. I will admit up front, I am not thrilled with many of the reveals to date. Seems many of the little details are being changed and I am not fond of them. As would be said in another fictional universe, I got a bad feeling about this. so, people iv never met, i need help. i figure you must all be some kind of awesome, loving the wheel and all, i need a techy. i have a hp mini, they have no drive for discs, i also dont have a portable one, and havent yet learned to make one. i have it working on a different laptop but i dont like that 1, and its not tiny like the mini. so, i put the files on a usb storage, the install page comes up, from several source files, i tried a handful, but when it starts, it instantly says bad something or other, cant find file ../help/readme.htm or something very like that, and that maybe the disc is dirty? i havent started, tho it works on the one laptop, cuz i dont wanna bre…

Read wot a first time in french, but I had to stop because if did not like the translation and because at the time the last books by Brandon Sanderson were not yet done and I feared they would not be translated.
