Hi there :-) Happy to be here! I got into WoT about 7 years ago while I was in boarding school. I like to make people laugh and will often be saying weird an inappropriate things on this forums mostly for chuckles. Oh, and I make up awesome WoT pickup lines- so watch out ladies! :P

So, I'm new here. My space bar sticks and doesn't like to work when I type on it, so I'm sure if I don't notice in enough time to backspace, half of my posts will have some combined words. I love the fantasy genre and I'm working on a WoT mod for NWN - mostly for personal pleasure more than anything else. Oh, and I'm nifty. But you knew that already, right?

Hi, I'm Calliro and... well I'm new here so I decided to post here first. I've already been wandering a while on this forum at the WOT discussion boards and I started reading the series about two years ago. I'm 14 years old now and I've read part 1 to 11 and New Spring in Dutch (as I come from the Netherlands), The Gathering Storm and Towers of Midnight in English and I'm still waiting on The World of the Wheel of Time (English). But some important things from The World of WOT I've already read on the internet. As I am 14 years old and Dutch, my English may be miserable now and then, but I try my best. My hobbies are music, sailing and reading; especially music. And …

:::lurk-mode-disabled::: Hi, just figured since I left a message in the movie thread that I should...um...introduce myself. Sheerahkahn is my s/n, have been using it for some time now, and I am a big fan of the series. Um...lessee, I'm a WoW player, both alliance and Horde...though secretly I'm all Horde, I do enjoy holiday with the allies. I'm also a novice writer, and hopefully I won't delete the current story I'm working on...fourth one to date that I've started and found wanting.../sigh. Anyway, guess that is it. Hi ya's and looking forward to reading thoughts and opinions. And back to the shadows with me. :::lurk-mode-enabled:::

How's it going I'm a huge fan of the series. I've read it three times and just started it again, every few years I just can't help but pick up the books again lol. I actually haven't read any of the books past Knife of Dreams, but I will be getting to them after this next read through. Anyway none of my friends read, so besides my siblings and I haven't gotten much conversation out of the books. Looking forward to reading the posts, although a little worried about spoilers for the two most recent books.

Im sorry for disappearing, im back now, and making my way through the books so that i can actually have conversations with my husband about them! life just gets so busy..im sure you know how it is. I used to read a full college level series in a week back in junior high but nowadays i have too much going on, i never get around to reading more than about a chapter a day, its embarrassing! but anyway, hello again, i am back and working on staying on track!

Hiyas all, Long-time fan of Jordan's work on the Wheel of Time series. Not really sure how well I will function in this environment considering I had endured this long with only myself to argue the merits of the story lines and characters. My hands-down favorite character in the WoT series HAS to be MAT! Can't wait to share some conversations regarding him. My groove... well, my standing tradition is to re-read the entire series each time a book comes out. Needless to say, I have read this series many times over the years and can still say I am absolutely rabid about it. I hit the flame and void and blasted through the 13th book in 2 days this weekend. Now, …

Just finished Towers Of Midnight, and am rereading TEOTW. All psyched up about the Wheel of Time, and nowhere to go but dragonmount.com.

Truth be told I don't normally bother with these things but I suppose its only polite that I make my recent arrival known. Who knows might help me meet people for writing and such. I am Castiel, a writing enthusiast who has been practicing the art for well on ten years or more. Of course length of study and practice does not always mean someone has any talent but I'll let people form their own opinions when I actually do make a character and start writing. I've actually read most of the Wheel of Time series but that was years ago and I've only just started rereading the Eye of the World. Since I stumbled upon this forum where people were writing I thought what the he…

Thought I'd drop an hello in here. Been a long time WoT fan, can't remember when I started reading them but by Crown of Swords I was buying them in hardback :) Started off reading some Dragon Lance in the 80's but moved onto the proper stuff a couple of years later when I picked up the Chronicles of Thomas at the tender age of 11. Been downhill ever since :)

I am both new and old to the group. I was here a while back but left for a lot of reasons. Recently, I remembered my love for the "Wheel of Time" books and the fun I had on the site. If you want to know more about me, let me know, but I am known as Veranza. Hugs and Loves!

Just finished reading Towers of midnight and i'm gutted i have to wait another year for the conclusion, but i am secretly hoping that the last book has to be split into 2 1000 page volumes, just cant see how its all gonna get wrapped up in one book without being diluted a bit :(. anyway, hi all :)

I have visited this site and enjoyed reading on many topics in the past. I am currently reading Towers of Midnight--I intend no specific details of the book to be in this thread please--which brings me to the specific reason I have just recently chosen to register. I have some friends who have read much of this series but have grown tired of continuing (i'm sure many of the members here know others like these and, like me, lament these friends' fatigue). So, I thought--with the intent of giving said friends a renewed passion to continue the long but utterly fantastic journey--that it would be fun to see how many fanatical affirmations we can add to this thread to convince…
